- Just 180km from Bangkok is the island of koh samet which is very cheap and easy to get to by minivan and boat. A lot of people from Bangkok choose to go there for holiday. It's a beautiful island with a lot to do and see and many nice places to stay and good food to eat

This year , Kradan island 🏝🏖🌴 in Trang province Southern of in Thailand was named the island with the best beach in the world by The World Beach glide in England.
including Railay Beach , Freedom Beach in Phuket island, Lamai beach in Samui island and beaches in Tao island in Thailand has the second and third most best beaches. The Philippines and Indonesia are equal, with two beaches each in the top 100 of the world's best beaches. 😊

i was on samet in 1987, back then it was an insider tip, almost no tourists, no hotels, just a few beach huts for rent, an absolute paradise. today only a spot for mass tourism, what a pity
i like Koh Larn more than Koh Samet, and Koh Larn is more near too from Bangkok

I just renewed my passport. Travelled down for the arranged appointment, which took all of 13 minutes, to make sure all my documents were in order, then got the email to say it was ready to be collected 5 weeks and 2 days after the date of application. As you said, excellent service from VFS Global, in Trendy Building 👍.

Hi Tom, thanks for bringing us alone your travels outside of the tourist areas. I would like to ask for your opinion about traveling in Southeast Asia coming from the USA. I will be leaving in July for 3 months flying into Bangkok, want to visit Malaysia and Singapore. How do I buy my ticket to and from since I dont know exactly when I will return? Should I buy a ticket that allow me to change dates? Should I fly or use the Rail system to travel to Malaysia and Singapore? Also, I'm a wheelchair user and can't walk or stand. We went to Rayong too when were were in Thailand. Took a mini bus from Bangkok. Then we were gonna do some more tours in and around Rayong but the mini bus was so smelly inside I ended up taking the first bus back to Bangkok 😂 Also nearly fainted from hunger as I couldn’t eat any of the local food and had to get through the day eating Pringles 😂 Well I suppose Thailand isn’t for everyone. Certainly not me 😂

Depends where you go. Some of the best beaches in the world in the Phillipines and have no tourists all day long. You can’t find that in Thailand. Well I couldn’t anyway.
