Im Januar 2024 war ich dort und hatte fünf Tage Motorräder von Canary Ride gemietet. Dieser Vermieter ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Insel ist soooo unglaublich schön, dass ich nächstes Jahr im Januar wieder dort sein werde. Dann aber wahrscheinlich 14 Tage. Dein Video zeig die Insel in ihrer vollen Schönheit und es gibt Stellen, wo ich noch nicht, oder zur falschen Tageszeit war, aber das ist ein guter Grund, wieder dort eine Winterflucht zu verbringen. Wow wat een weg, @4:30, welke weg is dat??? en dan die sunset, jezus jongens wat mooi... mooie beelden ook Leonoor, en wat vond je van de Desert Sled? Ook leuk he... wij zaten in Algarve maar dit is ook niet verkeerd zeg! Wat meer bergen en haarspelden
Dat pareltje is de Tauro Pass ofwel de GC-605 weg bij Mirador El Mulato. Opeens ligt 't voor je neus, echt prachtig! De Sled was echt een heerlijke gooi- en smijtfiets in die bochten. Algarve is zeker niet verkeerd, lekker weer!
I'm so jealous! I would love to go back to the Canary Islands with motorcycling riding in mind! Roads are vary similar to roads in the Sierras here in California.

You’re welcome! I’ve ridden the Multistrada models before, but now with having so much time on my own DX I really enjoy riding that more. The MTS is heavier above (tank and up) and I really like the maneuverability of the DX more.
Another awesome video & your photos & video skills are great I wish I had a eye like yours, I always carry my Nikon Z6 with me but I don't get it out near enough & my camera skills are nothing like yours I shot in M but I have a lot to learn still.
Get that Nikon out of the bag more often and keep shooting in manual. When that becomes second nature, there's a whole new world in front of you (to capture). Goodluck and enjoy!

I shoot a Nikon 850 and used to carry it in my tail truck, but our roads a so bad that my 24-70 lenses came apart so I'm only using my iPhone on the bike :(
Depends of course on how long you're going and prices for the ferry. From the Netherlands it's a good 2400km ride to the harbor and then the ferry to the Canary islands, but if I had more time when I went, I would've loved to take my own bike there!

Een tip, altijd alle ritsen van je kleding dicht houden onder het rijden dat bied de beste bescherming mocht je die ooit nodig hebben.
You can see why they call it the "Valley of the tears" More fun on a motorcycle than a push bike, tears of joy vs pain😄

It's a true paradise, so if you can, make the trip. I like the DX more over the MTS mainly on how the weight is divided. The MTS feels way heavier

Is it cheaper to rent the same bike there than to ship your bike over from Europe? If you're living in Spain or France.
