I used to know how many years after medical school, maybe 8 years in total and then if you want to start making real money, you have to open your own practice or partner with someone. Being a doctor isnt what it used to be with this new horrible govt socialized medical system. The only ones that make the big bucks and get wealthy, are the specialists. The elite, top of the class doctors. The remaining ones, make 200k or maybe 300k per year, if they are lucky upon finishing their residency. The ones that dont have wealthy parents then have to pay off their medical school loans.
This is how a narcissist talks: all self-promotion and self-pity. And then on the stand, he squirms and slithers away from making ANY statement that admits he's done wrong, regardless of irrefutable proof, such as a recording.

Inflation to the point people have to work 3 jobs to put food on table and gas in the car, men in women’s sports and locker rms., full term abortions, migrants getting benefits not afforded Americans and the list goes on and on. Imagine going through 2 different hitmen attempting to take out you & your new spouse’s exes so you can be happy together, then you learn it was all fake, your new spouse jumps off a roof, and you go to jail for life
If one woman comes forward, and accuses you of abuse, there's a chance it may not be true. When multiple do, it's definitely not a lie. He's definitely everythning they say he is.
That’s actually not always true. Multiple accusers can come for and claim something. It doesn’t make it true. Look up cases where there were multiple accusers who discovered to have lied about what happened to them, either because they wanted money, to ruin the accused’s life or they wanted their fifteen minutes of fame. The worst ones are those who come out every election cycle, telling lies about a candidate, then retreat without a peep once their mission has been accomplished.
If the first victim, woman or man, is taken seriously, it can often prevent 'multiple' from existing in many cases. But agree that when numerous people are making the same accusations about a person, you have to look at the common denominator
At first I thought Leon killed Valerie’s ex-husband. I’m not too far off. Most would guess correctly that Leon is a bad person cos he has a wild look in his eyes and a very fake & weird smile.
Before committing suicide to avoid the inevitable, left an audio dedicated to romanticising a serial abuser and sociopath. I wonder if she dedicated any commentary for her child?
Valarie couldn’t face the consequences of her actions. During Leon’s trial he just shot himself in the foot. He probably thought he could win over the jury. Glad they saw past his nonsense.
Imagine going through medical school, becoming a doctor, and then wasting everything on hiring a hit man! If you don't want a relationship, move on! Absolutely disgraceful. Glad both targets were not harmed. Could have been a lot worse.
@rockstarofredondo it was said in the video that he wanted to take their child away from her and he (her ex) wasn't happy about her new relationship because he knew about the new guys' past
The fact that Leon used his time on the stand to brag about sleeping with Valerie shows who he is. He wanted to brag about sleeping w Valerie, and let Meagan know how little she meant that he moved on so quickly.
Leon’s mother was/is an attorney. Leon’s father was/is a surgeon. In a fairly recent study of the top ten occupations employed with psycho/sociopaths, Number One are company CEO’s. Number Two are (here’s a shocker) lawyers. And I believe it was either Number Six or Eight, surgeons; not just doctors but specifically surgeons. In her suicide letter she wrote that she only loved two things in her life, her daughter and Leon. What a shame because the only thing Leon could ever love was himself.
But he came from money and presumably you don't get to go through seven residencies without having significant connections. We don't get enough about his background in the show.

@Odes1Angel it applies to all classes. There’s plenty of poor people that have time. There’s plenty of rich that have time. Just like there’s good and bad people in every class.
@Therezumee92 plenty of rich people have no time (work all the time to get rich) and plenty of poor people who have time (work 40 hrs and that’s it, likely why they are poor). Every class has all sorts of people

These are heartbreaking stories. 48 Hours does an amazing job telling them.
It seems like the least educated and least privileged of Leon's female targets was able to defend herself the best against him. Ironic.
This man leon walk out of the courtroom with a cup in his hand like he just finished eating lunch with his friends DAM
He's already planning to tie up the courts with appeals to save his skin.
Entitled, cocky and self-absorbed.
He did 🤣🤣😩😩😩
Delusional narcissist ... performing for the cameras as his world falls out from under him. Because it's all about image.
Yeah, I caught that too, so wrong!
Why even bother hiring an expensive lawyer when you got a slam dunk case against you? Like bro, you're on camera hiring and paying a hit man ffs. Save that money for retirement in case you get parole.

@@thelittleredhairedgirlfrom6527hahahaha I love this ^^ I’m just upset OJ was never able to live long enough to find his wife’s killer 😶
Yep! And to use that money for protection while in prison. The dope admitted on the stand what he said and did on the recordings. ha
Who paid because he didn't have that kind of money. I don't even think he was working as a doc during this time.
@@amc2510 Yes, he was just a residency doctor still paying his dues.
And the fact that he's on the surveillance recording with the fake hit man....I'm like 🙄 quit it with the speech about this goes against your morals as a physician.
Yep narcs refuse to take accountability it's everyone else fault but theirs
Your comment describes Trump exactly!
@@noisemaker1078
What does Trump have to do with this story? You’re obviously saying he’s a narcissist. I agree with that. Name a politician who isn’t. I despise them all on both sides of the isle, but, Trump is the only president in history who did what he promised he would do. It would take too long to list his achievements here.
BTW, if you are low to middle income, how do you feel about how our country has changed under Biden’s leadership?
Inflation to the point people have to work 3 jobs to put food on table and gas in the car, men in women’s sports and locker rms., full term abortions, migrants getting benefits not afforded Americans and the list goes on and on. If you’re wealthy, you wouldn’t care about any of this😢
@noisemaker1078 oh dear 🙄🤦🏼♀️ You just had to bring it there when there's actually less proof on YOUR summary, than the one shown here. Let us pray you never get jury duty..or at least RECUSE YOURSELF, if given the opportunity. 😒 Stay on topic.
Imagine going through 2 different hitmen attempting to take out you & your new spouse’s exes so you can be happy together, then you learn it was all fake, your new spouse jumps off a roof, and you go to jail for life
And then you don't take any of the blame! "If you say so," after hearing a recording of his heinous schemes.
@@junemarshall-kingsley566Typical narc response.
For an educated doctor, it seems funny that he didn't think that it would have been suspicious enough that both their exes died at the same time
Right! Good point
He wanted a BOGO
Really Crazy.
Love Peter van Sants reporting.
In my opinion, he is the best at 48 Hours.
@@Nirual Yeah sure, lets twist things and make it seem like it's common. It's not.
Thats bologna. I have seen where a group of women came forward and then was sued and proved to be lying. Look it up judge Roy Moore.
If the first victim, woman or man, is taken seriously, it can often prevent 'multiple' from existing in many cases. But agree that when numerous people are making the same accusations about a person, you have to look at the common denominator
I disagree. Look at Judge Roy Moore. Numerous women were proven to be lying about him.
Thanks 48 hours for putting out another episode! Keep them coming please. ❤❤❤
That is one twisted story for sure. I was wondering who is killing who at some point
I know! That cold open confused me cause I assumed the woman was the victim out the gate. Now idk. I'll watch and learn 😅

For me it was clear right from the start when I saw his eyes and heard his name.
At first I thought Leon killed Valerie’s ex-husband. I’m not too far off. Most would guess correctly that Leon is a bad person cos he has a wild look in his eyes and a very fake & weird smile.

Psychopath is another
Malignant narcissist--how many lives did Leon end up destroying?
Lol I don't know how those cops didn't laugh at the bad acting.
Valarie couldn’t face the consequences of her actions.
During Leon’s trial he just shot himself in the foot. He probably thought he could win over the jury. Glad they saw past his nonsense.
Valerie .. people always pronounce and spell it wrong 😑 😝
Piece of cake. I saw past it and I didn't even hear much from him.
"I'm only guilty of being a Casanova." And then to say that he felt pressured by the "hit man". Please......what a piece of work!!! 🙄

Hello from France. It is now 6 PM.
Mee too, 😘
Wait.. so they didn't realise it would look suspicious when both their exes would have been killed around the same time?
Why did Valerie want to have her husband killed in the first place? The divorce was over. There would have been zero benefit to it.
@rockstarofredondo it was said in the video that he wanted to take their child away from her and he (her ex) wasn't happy about her new relationship because he knew about the new guys' past
What an episode! This is easily one of my favourites so far!!!
Yes full of twists and turns!
So a homeless Dr. who wasn’t really a Dr. found vulnerable women to grift off of. In the end he was just misunderstood. This is a tale as old as time.
But he came from money and presumably you don't get to go through seven residencies without having significant connections. We don't get enough about his background in the show.
@@rexiioper6920 It’s seem from the show he lived off women he manipulated and beat down. He tried to have one of those women erased from life. Then he blamed everything on the woman who wasn’t alive to defend herself. Now he’s in prison probably for the rest of his life. Him being a dr. at this point is highly irrelevant. 😂
That’s so interesting and unusual to have an audio journal.
I was thinking, at first, that she just didn't want to appear on camera for this...and was using this text option instead.
It’s a gotcha moment. So wild…and truly terrible.
I have one. I’m definitely unusual though.
Doctors do this for progress notes, so it’s not that unusual.
I thought that was her suicide note

You really think you know a person until you’re shown who they truly are
By then it could be too late
The red flags are always there it’s just whether or no a person wants to know the truth and live in reality versus fantasy
I'll never understand how someone can make it through classes like premed, then finish medical school..... and pass your boards while being so depraved. Thank goodness he didn't make it through residency because many would have been hurt if this guy was a working physician.
