Never heard of Dent so definately on my to do list. The scenery was beautiful! Thank you for making these stunning videos i look forward to them every week!
What a gorgeous little village Dent is. My goal is to learn to drive before I hit 60 so that I can go exploring myself. I love your videos. Currently working through all your old ones as I've only came across you recently.
Thank you so much for your kind words and of course for watching. Welcome to the channel. I hope we can continue to produce content you will enjoy. Best of luck with driving. It’s a great goal to have and will give you freedom to explore so many beautiful places. 🤗❤️🚌🙏
I'm glad you shared this as we're planning to visit Gisburn soon. It's heartbreaking seeing the dogs slow down, we had the same with our old chocolate lab but, a lot like you, you've just got to give them their best life right up to the end 😍
We were really impressed. Hadn’t done too much exploring in this area previously so were pleasantly surprised. Enjoy you trip there. Sadly we lost Archie this August actually on his 14th birthday. We do miss him but are at the stage now where we can think of him fondly and smile as we remember all his antics. 🙏🤗🚌❤️
Lovely vlog, ladies. Gorgeous scenery! Yeah, that seems a tad expensive to me too, for what they are offering. The puppers look happy as always 🐶🐕🐾🐕🦺🐾🦴
We stayed there many years ago when the children were young. It was just a field then, we had a very small campervan and a tent!! Remember it well, very basic camping. Sadly like a lot of places, they are really hiking the prices up, makes it unaffordable for families looking for a cheap camping holiday.
Another cracking vlog, ladies, Marl Barn and Dent, looks amazing, another 2 locations added to my must visit list. Will take your advice and go to the other site in Dent, £33 a night plus the extras is way too much, I agree. Thanks, I can't wait for the next installment. ❤🎉
What a really lovely special video Kath. Thank you. It was just what I needed tbh having had a really rotten time with Mum being unwell and I’ve been feeling utterly exhausted and really rather low so to hear you talking about living in the moment and thoroughly appreciating beautiful surroundings brought tears to my eyes (not your intention I’m sure!) however I so agree with you and also about this incredibly beautiful country we are so privileged to be able to explore: it really is very special indeed. The walk along the sheep path was absolutely stunning, of course helped by having some sunshine and great cloud formations but Yorkshire generally is somewhere we want to see more of…..there’s so much of the country we’d love to see more of tbh if only we could pack things up and travel full time hey?!👍….maybe one day but for now we appreciate what trips we can fit in and we can watch your wonderful videos for the rest!! I liked the video view of the drive btw. Hopefully we have two more weeks of confinement for Sasha then start some physio to rebuild her muscles hoping cartilage has healed over her disc extrusion she will need to build up her walking stamina carefully over the summer. Archie is such a good boy. He knows his buggy helps him out and about but you can just see how luck Fudge, he is very much enjoying his outdoor life on the road! We are looking in to lightweight ramps to stop jumping etc. would you recommend the one you have?/ is it telescopic? (Hope you don’t mind my asking). Enjoy your wonderful wanderings! Xx 🚐☀️🐶🐶🥾👟👍
Hi Anna, sorry to hear about your Mum. I hope you’ve been able to help. It’s amazing how life turns around and we end up caring for parents. We’ve just been helping my parents move into a Bungalow and it’s felt like hard labour just decluttering. Here is a link to the ramp we have. amzn.eu/d/eEiwlfs we have tried others but we find this suits us. It isn’t telescopic but folds into two and is relatively lightweight. Sending love and hugs to Sasha and wishing her speedy recovery so she can get walking in the great outdoors again soon. 🤗🙏🚌❤️
Thanks for the link for the ramp. That a good weight. So many are 7kg +. I hope your parents settle in to their new home a day find it suits them better. It’s certainly a tough time right now but we must try to be positive. Sasha could’ve been paralysed through the disc extrusion. We’ll work hard on whatever physio exercises suggested once we’re over the 6 week rest period and hope and pray we can help her more. We’re all so very dedicated to our lovely doggies hey?!🐶🐶🐶💓
Loved the walk and your ramblings. I’m in the same mind as you re Lancashire changing to G.M. It still grates to this day (I’m not even a Lancashire lass by birth). Not only that It came down to being on the wrong side of a stream (feet away) for local boundaries too.
Oh no!! That must have been so frustrating for communities who’d been together for so long. I can just imagine them comparing services. Not ideal. 🙏🤗🚌❤️
Your videos are very watchable and interesting on the various sites you visit... what's interesting is what is deemed a reasonable cost... also I'm perplexed at the extra 50p shower option... seems a little irritable - just put £1 on the site fee.
You’re right. The reasonableness is very subjective. Having had 2 years on the road we do have quite a lots to make comparisons but ultimately it’s old fashioned supply and demand and what people are prepared to pay. Definitely put the shower cost onto site fee. I’m all for that. 🤗🙏🚌❤️
Parked up at Ribblehead viaduct, for a "sallee" across the moors to Dent and then got the train back to Ribblehead, back in the 70's. Man, i knew about it. That last bit to the station nearly killed me. Happy days, none the less. A decent pair of boots, keep relatively fit, and ya laughing. ( Unless ya get on a site that charges that much ! )
I think we will have to go back to sample the pubs. There was one place we really fancied but unfortunately closed on the days we were they (we were there midweek). Never mind and excuse to go again. 🤗🚌🙏❤️
🤣🤣🤣Enjoy your Yorkshire break. It’s a lovely place….and that’s coming from a Lancashire Lass. Sue says it’s very simple, stock, onions, carrots, celery and chicken. Served with crusty bread. Can’t go wrong.
Hi, lovely video, thanks ❤❤
You are so welcome! 🙏 🤗🚌❤️
Good video as ever
Than you. 🙏🚌❤️
Another great vlog thank you for sharing it do take care keep safe best wishes to all from Sheila and family
Thanks Sheila. Glad you still enjoy my rambling (in both senses of the word). 🤗🙏🚌❤️
I always look out for your videos on a Wednesday. You never disappoint. Just stunning today. Thank you.
Thank you for such kind words. 🤗🚌🙏❤️

Thank you so much for saying. It means a lot. As for Dent, it’s definitely worth a visit. 🤗❤️🙏🚌

@@MotorhomeMums takes a while but luckily, as you say, you can start to focus on the memories rather than the pain 🙏🏼
Lovely vlog, ladies.

Thank you. Archie and Fudge didn’t care a jot about the price 🤣🙏🚌❤️
Fabulous walks and lovely waterfalls and stream's that village looked beautiful but very quiet.
It was very quiet and mostly locals living there which is quite nice to see these days. Well worth a visit. 🤗🙏🚌❤️
Nice to see that Archie sometimes decides to wander off leaving you guys to push his sedan chair until he’s ready to repose.
🤣🤣🤣I’m trying to teach him to push me. 🚌🙏❤️
I feel what you feel just listening to you.
That’s so nice of you to say. Thank you. 🙏
Very interesting as always
Thank you. 🙏 ❤️

It is such a shame as the village is lovely and I am sure more people would have been there if the prices were better. 🤗🙏🚌❤️

Thank you. Hope you have a great time in Yorkshire. We still have more to do in the future. 🤗🙏🚌❤️
@@MotorhomeMums thankyou 🙂
Lovely area have marked this area down😂 Can’t beat an Egg and bacon role 💪👍😀
I’m definitely with you on that. Love my bacon and egg roll especially as the weather improves and it becomes a pleasure to cook outside. 🙏🚌❤️
I’ve just booked our family a short break to Yorkshire (can’t wait!) Sue share your soup recipe please?
