I usually go from one trick to onetrick overtime, after i get one pretty much figured out to where i feel like im pretty good i switch to something new. Genji was my last with hanzo before that so when i started maining sojourn away couple days ago it was a struggle. With hanzo id play stealthily and look for opportunities while taking my time, with genji id poke from mid range while waiting for a dive opportunity. But with sojourn it was different than anything ive played. I had soldier for a pimary and widow for a secondary. I had just found some settings on console that fixed some issues i had been having so i started looking for guides again. This video so far has really helped me understand her playstyle better than most others, really helpful at helping me get a handle on what i should be doing and not doing

Every pro/gm video of OW has a Mercy constant pocketing them. Sure it's a part of good teams but this is just fabricated to show off. The skills shown are not that impressive.

Ok this helps a lot. I always had the thinking of if some1 wants to 1v1. You take it. That's what others are saying anyways. I think Jay3 said this. So I had that mindset. But he's not a GM. So there you go.
when he was talking about enemy using cooldowns to engage your highground, it sounded like that would be the case. A 1v1 could be to survive n them using a cooldown already gives you the advantage no? so you could probably play agro into a shot then easily disengage, or just a charged up shot against a squishy where only a bodyshot could be deadly (given that everyone except tank is already priority for said shot so why not just give in if you have the mechanics backing it up). Jay3 did mention to set yourself in new positions to see the full outcome through, so its depending on your experience as a player if its the right call. As sometimes that 1v1 could be the right thing to do and you might ignore the opportunity to win, or the enemy team just won the engage from your teammates so the 1v1 does nothing
