I did 750km my bag kept slipping to the sides after every bad patch. This didn't work well for me and every experienced rider told me to tie it better and one of them tied it in a way that it didn't move a bit even after rough patches.
Good effort but bad method.
That bag will fly to infinite and beyond in the first curve. The real golden advice in this video is to fold/tuck/tie down all the bag straps.
that also we can simply push it into the bungee rope tension.

This might be okay for city rides only, not for a tour. Your luggage SHOULD NEVER MOVE, i used a similar knot and my luggage was hanging after a few kms of off-roading.
It's better to use longer ropes (30+ in) and use special knots, always remember to pass the rope through the loops of the luggage and also make sure it's steady n stable. Bungee ropes and ROK straps are best.

when you stop by on a high way for a break and go for a coffee or something and dont want to leave the bag there because you think it will get lost or taken so did you experience the tying and untying was too much of work each time.. and did you think of alternative options like simply putting a bag pack on your shoulder instead?

please also share some idea to attach hand carry {briefcase type lather bag } with the side of motorbike. i mean is there any accessory.... to install with the bike so that we could be able to hang our hand carry on that accessory any time and take away after parking the bike easily without any trouble of every time tie and untie in our daily office routine.
It is simple. Take 1 carabiner, connect it through your briefcase and lock it with the metal net on your right side of your bike

Its very easy to tie a lugguage on bike with flat seats like enfield because it has back support as well. Can you please try on bike with slant seats for which u wont get the grip from seats. Bikes like gixxer or FZ?. Thanks

Can we tie a backpack on top rack or it is risky? Whether buying top box is mandatory
It is completely safe to tie. U just need to add a extra bungee for that :))

This methkd might not work for bikes like Gixxer that do not have back rest or a curcular rod loop..any idea how to tie the luggage for bikes like Gixxer?
For sports bike you can use the same rope. Add one end of the rope to the left footrest and add another end of rope to right footrest.
You can try different combinations of hooking up the rope in steady places.
how long is your rope cord ? 2 metres?

Yes that definitely. Pillion grab handle when works perfectly, just make sure you lock-it the rope properly

What do you do when you take breaks, at a restaurant or something. Do you unpack your bag and take it along with you?
No we don’t unpack it because it will be very time consuming. You just tell the watchman to keep a eye on the luggage that’s it.

It's not safe. When you tie anything with bike you should make sure that it becomes part of the body and it doesn't move horizontally at all. I think you drove at very slow speed where jerks and all doens't matter. If you are driving above 100 then I will not advise this method at all. Buy 2 double style bungee cord which forms cross at the center. That makes thing very stable.
It’s completely safe. On highways my speed is 80+. And have rode thousands of kilometres using this method only
@@harshayshahfilms hmm. Ok bro. I usually tour on a sport tourer. So I always tie bags with atleast 1 double style bungee and a backup straight bungee for backup. It's always better to be safe. Ride safe bro 👍

It is a good way to pack. You put more weight on the opposite side of the exhaust so it balances properly!
