Driving in Austria & Germany: From Innsbruck via Bertechsgaden to Königssee

In this one I actually go back to Austria (just over the border, like 1 or 2 km) for the last stop, but the town is so small, I'm not sure it even has its own name.

Wow! What a wonderful drive through the Alps. In the 1980s, I attended three economists’ meetings in Alpbach. I drove down from Munich and back, enjoying the mountains. And, on the afternoons off, I drove several tours over mountain roads, even as far as Salzburg, soaking up the scenery. You have chosen a most mesmerizing route through a lovely area of Austria. Mountain Memories!
