It gave me the same feeling as I get when driving in the South Island of New Zealand. The landscape is similar, except that you have more trees planted by the roadside; your roads are also of a very high standard too. Very pleasant, indeed.
I visited Germany and Austria (including walking up the mountain to Neuschwanstein) way back in 2001 and I’ve been longing to get back ever since. Thank you for this awesome video. Brings back good memories. 😊
Beautiful and breathtaking views of the majestic mountains and an abundance of trees. Very spotless place. My only hope of visiting this gorgeous place is watching this video on my TV.
I cycled this on the 23rd June 2019 as part of a cycle trip from Donaueschingen to Torbole. Going over the top of the Fern pass was hard work! Great video.

@Noah P urban roads in Germany etc are even leagues better than North America. We refuse to invest in proper construction and always budget cut the maintenance
@@wingsfan1450 Using concrete on most German highways contributes to their longevity. However here in the States our politicians need to repay their supporters with constant road repair contracts. What's really stupid is that here in Pennsylvania we have concrete manufacturers everywhere but we insist on resurfacing roads with macadam.
The Tanker truck that turns off 189 at the Roundabout at 1:16:00 is following the arrow sign to Innsbruck present there. it is the same truck seen when you enter A12 at 1:29:17. nice video!

Not all roads, but this one in particular has to be. It is one of the few direct tollfree roads that you can take if you want to drive from soutwestern Germany across the alps towards Italy. The only other options are driving Autobahn, and that will cost you in Austria.
Very nice, keeps my mind off current situation! I recognize a little bit of this trip already and thx, it’s good to study up on road signs before driving here the next time I come
No litter, no bollards, no dumped spare tyres, no dumped waste bags, never ending roadworks, no contraflow lanes, no stop start traffic jams, no silly gantry signs, no planning the trip in order to avoid rush hour traffic, no cracking tarmac surface, no weeds growing on the hard shoulder...

In Innsbruck natürlich das Goldene Dacherl und die Sprungschanze. Die Strecke abseits der Autobahn ist sehr reizvoll mit Blick auf die Berge. Alles in allem ein schönes Video. I have driven this road did not stop in Germany and Austria very pity, My destination was to go to Italy. My longest trip was Sweden-Denmark-Germany-Czech Republic-Slovakia-Hungary-Croatia-Bosnia & Herzegovina-Montenegro-Albania-Italy-Austria-Germany-Denmark and home to Sweden. All I can say is that Albania is worth a visit and very nice people, I have only been there once 2015
What a coincidence: at 1:16 you were stuck behind a truck, and it turned right were you carried on straight ahead. At 1:30:45 you overtake the very same truck ( ST HS 1928 ) on the motorway. What are the odds? Apart from that, Austria has some fabulous scenery!

It looks like it's the same truck. He turned right to head off to the autobahn, while we went all the way through Telfs, which turned out to be slower.
In our country where there are 2 lanes in a direction we struggle to maintain speed>60kmph . But with one lane traffic flows smoothly in Austria. Wow. Maybe we have large no. of vehicles. Anyways , I appreciate your Good driving.

I don't know what it's like in Germany, but most of the video was shot in Austria. In Austria there is no obligation to turn on the headlights during the day when visibility is good. But with most modern cars the lights are always on.

The scenic beauty of the surrounding area attract me very much and the roads are exemplary for smooth driving.

It means that if there is a traffic jam inside the tunnel, you have to shut down your engine, as to avoid that there wiil be too much air pollution.
