I think my issue is that I have a 9-5 so trying to draw from learning the basics again can feel so daunting. Work burns me out and so now I’m trying to figure out a good balance while not looking at learning as more burn out 😓🙈
@@moec1133 oh god that’s really hard!! Honestly don’t be so hard on yourself. I have a video about being consistent if you wanna watch I talk a bit about that but it’s about having at least ten minutes a day to sketch or making a set time on the weekend! But it’s hard aaaa 💀
I think one of the first things I need to learn so I can improve is routine. Why do you like to draw, and why would you spend your whole life dedicated to it? To know that there is more to just saying "I just want to draw" into "because it makes me happy" "it's my pride, and it's who I am!" a more specific reason! Consistency is important, and to have that you need to know yourself, then make challenges, and it will become a routine and a big part of you (doesn't matter what level your skills are because you'll improve no matter what) ^^🖤
