Love all of the accolades that you are giving Wemby. To top it off, he is in a genuinely nice kid, smart and totally focused and disciplined. Can you imagine where he will be in 3-4 years after he adds a few pounds, and the Spurs get him an All Star to play with him and all of the other young Spur's bucks? Can't wait! (I lived in SATX for over 50 years and YES, I am a huge fan!)
I think one thing we have to remember is he was already a professional before he entered the NBA(like Luka but I'm not sure if to the same extent). He just needed to adjust to the different rules and just get used to the different speed that the NBA brings. I'm not a Spurs fan but I live a few hours from San Antonio and he's got me wanting to drive down to see him play.

I'm a big Spurs fan, watching Wemby this year has been wonderful. Earlier in the year Wemby preferred the 4 with Collins at the 5, pundits said it was his preferred position. Guess Pop gave him the chance to see his natural position is the 5 and his play has expanded from there.
As when I'm looking he has 1150 points at 20 lebron just hit 40000 points I think victor might be the one to break it and break lots of other things during his career people are hyping him up but I see something huge possible to become the GOAT what I imagine him as a wilt chamberlain that had a better passing ability and able to shoot like a guard if so and gets a better team no doubt he's gonna be top 5 all time

Luka played in the euroleague,(like champions in soccer) wemby only played in the french league
