What a cracking little Panda. Hated these when they were new but look how we have gone full circle and now everything is super cool! Don’t need lots of power to have fun just have something different that everyone can relate to. Love it!
Absolutely love everything about the car and Joe. Hopefully this will attract some deserved attention and hopefully some sponsorship too. Motorsport shouldn’t be all about huge budgets and power. Well done Joe and thank you Adam for putting the car on. I will be looking out for Joe at Time Attack. Good luck.
The Steyer Puch 4x4 system is very good on the panda as the car is so light , it will , with the right tyres and wheels , go almost anywhere . And is perfectly suited to soft ground
What a brilliant little car, fantastic build and it's been done that way for all the right reasons, but mainly because he wanted it that way. You can't argue with that, so refreshing to see someone build something different, the way the want it. Love it 👍
I was getting fuel at a petrol station in the Italian Alps, and the guy there had a fiat panda with a honda hornet engine and side exit exhaust! 😂 I've always had a soft spot for these cos my mum had one in the 80s. The rear seat was also a "hammock" you could unclip it and mount it higher. Brilliant build that mate. ❤
Great project, used to have a white E plate many moons ago. A quirky design that has strangely become a classic, I remember when they were pretty unpopular, not the case now!
Me too mate I bought a pulsar gtir a few years back and it ended up going wrong, wish I’d not have sold it cheap now, classics are fetching crazy money
Man, I want to cry… I immediately identified the CBR throttle bodies… I had used the SAME for my ITB conversion of the TU series 1.6 8V and then 16V for my converted Pug 205!! I only had to use a larger flow version of those fantastic Denso injectors (out of some Toyota Avensis).
My fiancé and I love Fiat Pandas so we think this is such a cool build ... and if you put an Uno Turbo engine in that it would *fly* ... what I love best is the details, like the tailgate clips. And what a smashing fellah! All the best to him and hope he does well at the Time Attack UK events.
Great build lots of thinking and head scratches goes into doing a leftfield project like this the tow loop is an example of the attention to detail that has gone into the car great find Adam.
I was a Fiat Lancia apprentice in the 90’s, we were still getting a few of these pass through the workshop now and again. I could never visualise anyone using one of these for competition, the builder of this will understand why! Great work.
This thing is mega. The engine is what I'm planning to put in my Cinquecento. Good to know you can squeeze some pretty decent power from the 1.2 unit. More than enough for a 700kg B road basher.
Cracking. I'd a white 1000 Panda back in the 90's. It burnt off a 1100 Fiesta Mk2 in.a drag race on a motorway in 'Mexico.' 100mph was indicated on the speedo. Fun cars- incredible in the snow.
I love it, it's got a lot more sort of old school racing smell to it in a sense when it's a turd of a car as a base and the stuff done to it is all the right things but not outrageous. I for some reason reminds me of a 87 or so Nissan a friend of my dad did for rallye in the early 90's, it was also NA, plain white, BBS white wheels on it, no crazy wide stuff or so just stickers from local sponsors on it. It went like stink, no sound dampening, no interior other than buckets and dash. Pretty sure it was for group B but I don't remember. It was the wildest ride I ever had in terms of the impression it made on me. Ridden and owned much faster stuff myself since then but I'll never forget how raw and unrefined that thing was, and it was what made it so cool. Horsepower isn't everything.
That looks absolutely spot on. Those wheels are great 🔥One of my favourite cars on this channel and brings back memories of the Panda I once had (a bog standard 1.0L) with balding tyres and the same bare metal door interior this has with FIAT stamped in the door panel. 🙂It was like driving around in a tin can but I loved it, for the short time it lasted.
You should have seen it with the old wheels, for me it had a even more clubsport look, these new wheels, even tough rare, look a little too much like a show car wheel. Being also the owner of a 1.2 "fast road" classic Panda, i love this build, it is an inspiration
I don't know about a turbo, i think the induction roar suits its Italian heritage. I wonder if it would sound better with a pair of side draft Weber DCOEs.. old school!
Many years ago, there was one of these in a car mag (fast car? / car & conversions? ) with Intergrale type arches a Fiat 2ltr twin cam engine... it was wild
Nice car and well done there is something about small cars on British back roads that you can’t get from big power cars - like a 125cc 2 stroke you can still embarrass bigger cars. These cars will never exist again (cars like Panda, AX, Metro).

Sadly all too true. Funnily enough my mate had a late BRG Metro turbo and a face-lift AX GTi amongst others. Both astonishingly quick little things!
I honestly think that time WILL come around again 🤞 When people eventually realise how unsustainable electric cars are in the long term, not for the masses anyway 🤷. The solution is Kei cars, or at least small, regulated, efficient petrol engined cars.
Love this what a lovely bloke love his panda that engine bay looks like it could take seriously big engine can’t believe it’s only done 4,000 miles good luck to him once he sorted niggles out be nice classic 😆👍🏽
back in the 90' there was a fiat panda running around essex with a 200bhp ish rs turbo engine in the back would be good to find out if this is still about
My 1st car was a panda 4x4 back in 96. I paid 400 quid for it and inurance was 1700 a year.i ran that car until it died roadworhy then grasstracked it until it died forvever. Love the look of this and great little car. ❤😊
First car I ever valeted back in the 90s, was a white panda. Also fitted my first set of 6x9s to one and these tiny little front speakers on the dash. Think was loud……and slow.
Something a little different. You couldn't give a panda away in the late 90,s but now it has a certain charm to it.
I think it’s wicked 👌🏼
Agreed
They sold them as hot cakes 😂
What are y talking about
They were everywhere in europa 😂
There was 3 on my road in the early to mid 90s. Definitely wasn't one that they "couldn't give away", it was a popular car back then.
That car is the bollox, proper build and well executed. Something different so hats off to him. Superb.
Crying out for an uno turbo engine !! Lovley little car that mate
Was thinking that or 500 turbo
Punto Gt Turbo, was that the same as a Fiat Uno Turbo with a different turbo?
That's exactly what I was thinking 🤔..be great fun with a turbo lump in it..
We had a Cinquecento with a 1.4 Uno turbo lump years ago.great fun 😁
@@gazcolman9184 Pretty much the same engine with a few tweaks, yeah.
What a cracking little Panda. Hated these when they were new but look how we have gone full circle and now everything is super cool! Don’t need lots of power to have fun just have something different that everyone can relate to. Love it!
I love that. Proper build, doing stuff because u want to. Perfect.
Super budget build, something a bit different. Hats of to the owner for the vision! ❤ 👏 👌🏻
Got a right soft spot for old Fiats, I used to have a modded Punto GT Turbo back in the day, loved that car. And I passed my test in an Uno!
@@GTiR23 I had a soft spot for my Strada Arbath , a big hedge 7 miles outside Edinburgh..
Had an uno turbo with a home made bleed valve on the turbo actuator
Fast wee car
Good times

Had a 1984 model, tuned engine (reworked inlet and exhaust) great little car, so light it would drive over the top of snow drifts.
Great little car from the 80s bet it great fun to drive. back in the day 100bucks worth a hole lot more theses days great stuff
Far more satisfying viewing than recent top streaming offerings. Thank you for these collaborative uploads. 👍
'1989?'...........nah, 1789, its a really early 1
I was thinking the same 😂
I came here to rip the piss for the same thing 🤣
Found all the smart knts
@@doobydootoo Calm down Karen it’s called banter or will you cry and go tell mum?
@@Buck3366
I don't think you know how to use 'Karen'.

Looks like my beer fridge in the garage, cool that !!!
Great project, used to have a white E plate many moons ago. A quirky design that has strangely become a classic, I remember when they were pretty unpopular, not the case now!
Such a sweet little motor! If you don't like this then there something seriously wrong with you!
He seems a really nice guy
That looks soooooooo cool 😎 amazing looking retro car 👏👏👏 I want a Panda now 😅
I had some Oscam wheel's in the 90's they were 15x8 three-piece wheels? They were sold by IPD back in the day.
Great build and so unique.
I used to like the Uno turbos. This look a clean sensible build & I hope it lasts for him. 🙌🏻👏🏻
I suppose this is kind of a baby Uno Turbo, very cool.
Yeah although I remember Uno turbos being flimsy but pretty nippy. This looks nicely done
This was the car of the show for me at The Drivers Collection evening show. Proper cool little car.
That’s wicked. My first car was a white panda. Mine was no where near as cool as this tho
This is awsome, my cousin had an uno turbo when I was a kid and it’s still on my bucket list of cars to own.
I can remember nice clean ones being had for a couple of grand. I wish that was the same story now!
Me too mate I bought a pulsar gtir a few years back and it ended up going wrong, wish I’d not have sold it cheap now, classics are fetching crazy money
Cracking little build. Nice fella
Astonishing build mate. It's lads like you that keep that culture going. Needless to say, Adam you're a superstar for publishing man!! Spot on
That is the dogs danglies, love it 👌

I see this at players classic this year and I absolutely fell in love with it! 👍🏼
Not a fiat fan but how cool is that build proper cool build
Cool, what a hero 👍👍👍👍
Great build lots of thinking and head scratches goes into doing a leftfield project like this the tow loop is an example of the attention to detail that has gone into the car great find Adam.
Now that's an accurate dude lining up his wheel nuts and wheel pattern straight for the video :)
well he did say he spent years in the cycling industry 😆

Love this car so much, Joe is sound as well. Great video, awesome to see (and hear) the car finally rolling 👍
Loved this! Took me back to the two Pandas I owned.
Would love to see a follow-up with the time attack when driven in anger! 💯

I tell you what thats the bolloxs well done mate i love it !
No way. I bought some Lancia wheels off him for my other halfs 4x4 a few years back!. Glad to see this car got finished
That would be perfect with a 1.4 Punto GT / Uno turbo engine 😍. Interesting build indeed.
I don't know about a turbo, i think the induction roar suits its Italian heritage. I wonder if it would sound better with a pair of side draft Weber DCOEs.. old school!
A supercharger ala Beta Volumex would be pretty cool as well.
Parpy little engine suits this a treat. Superb car
What an amazing little car, huge credit to the owner 👍👍
Think this is the first Fiat on the channel....love it.
Great well thought out build proper humble nice guy top video 👍

The uno turbo was a really quick little car. This panda got to fun

back in the 90' there was a fiat panda running around essex with a 200bhp ish rs turbo engine in the back would be good to find out if this is still about
Love everything you do pure genius. suspect your pigeon found an Indian vindaloo somewhere.😊
Decent video i do enjoy projects like this nice build
Love it, had a Sergio Tacchini panda back in the early 90s was a really fun car to drive, yours is amazing and makes me want one again. #pandalove
Love it old skool cool 😎
Love this. Would need a rev counter for me. Just something that completes a dash imo.
Cool A.F . Love this ❤️
Needs to be a denim special edition for full geordie jean action
