The Spectacular Rail Line Between Bar, Montenegro and Belgrade, Serbia

Compilation of our May 23, 2016 trip on one of the world's most spectacular rail lines between Bar, Montenegro and Belgrade, Serbia. We boarded the train at Podgorica, Montenegro which is the start of the climb over the Dinaric Alps. This line, which was only completed in 1976, features an incredible 254 tunnels and 435 bridges in 296 miles. Cost to ride = 10 Euros = $11.30

Wow , spectacular. Seems if you're not on a bridge, you're in a tunnel. Except they used the "flat spots" for stations!

Dean - The engineering on this line is spectacular; nice bridges. Interesting to see the Station Master dressed in uniform and the bridge and track maintenance employees without much personal protective equipment. Great video, thanks for posting. Mike

that was the grounds in the bottom of a regular cup of Serbian coffee. Apparently filters are optional there...
