This game and the first one are one of my favorite from the PlayStation, both intros were fire, the first one, you activating the Ray Sphere by pressing the Start Button and this one fighting the Beast literally in the first minutes playing it. They should remaster both games.
I've been saying this, and also I think inF2 is also the best tutorial in any game, it gives you all the basics back to back without any interruption of the flow
After finishing the game i was spending time in custom mission creator playing peoples missions not omly that but i spent time learning and trying to understand on how to make missions myself fun times, but for some reason my brain trying to do is best to kill that memory i barely remembered it 😞
I feel like it made sense cause realistically the beast couldn’t be present the whole game so I think by having constant reminders of his approach while having Bertrand take center stage for a bit worked in this case. Bertrand was essentially a training arc for fighting big monsters.
@ yea but it could’ve worked better. Plus I remember when the Beast finally got to new marais I remember asking, well where is he during this mission and this one? Is he just taking a break? Is he giving us some extra time to give us a fighting chance? Feels like they couldnt think of a way to keep him out of the story til the very end. Also I don’t like how it’s someone you can potentially trust and team up with, like I theorized it would be John, but the John I remember from Infamous wouldn’t do the things he did, I was expecting more of a warped mind with an pure evil intent because of the ray sphere, not a sympathetic villain trying to do good in a bad way kinda deal.

I agree, it introduces everything so smoothly and never breaks the immersion from the beginning.
I'm sure you mention this. But towards the end of the game, you can see The Beast walking towards you through the ocean
I actually forgot about that! But I love that they continually remind you of The Beast’s threat through the entire game.

The custom mission designer was another underrated part of this game I used to spend hours in there!
love the vid
Thanks for the support!
Yea I just have disappointments with the Beast. Mainly how he feels like a secondary antagonist to Bertrand

His betrayal from the first game is unforgivable😤
