I use ariat for an everyday boot, if you can wear out a set of soles on an ariat you’ve earned a new pair, only thing I’ve ever had to replace were heels
Ariat is a brand that is open to new ideas. I don’t know why there’s so many butthurt people are against these boots. Boots that have rubber outsoles are made for heavy use ranchers and boots with rubber outsoles are a good entry level for a first timer who is interested in wearing cowboy boots. I have a cheap Chinese made Durango boots that I wear on rainy days and I also have nice western boots made from Mexico.
Boots with rubber soles are intended for environments where they are likely to be exposed to moisture… Which would as you said even apply to ranchers. I don’t know too many people who don’t utilize rubber boots or rubber soles for most day-to-day farming activity.
My black square toed Ariat patriot cowboy boots are awesome even after a year. They hold up well even after daily wear. I would probably go for these ariats or the venteks
Congrats on the sponsorship and thanks to Ariat! My most comfortable pair of boots is an Ariat Heritage R Toe Westen Boot and mine did not require much of a break-in period.

Bullseye - the stiffness/glossy finish was a deal breaker for me. They're nice looking boots. I love my Ariat Ropers but I just could not pull the trigger on this one. Thanks for all of the great content, Jeremiah! You have been so helpful to me. ☮
I wear a pair of Ariat Picket Line boots. The moment I put them on in the shop, I knew they were the perfect shape and size for me. I wore them around town immediately and experienced no pain or blisters. The 4LR insoles are excellent, as you say. The sole looks more like a solid rubber one, although it is stitched right through, but I’m still not sure they can be resoled, especially living in the U.K., where we don’t have Ariat specialist cobblers. For me, the greatest bonus was buying a boot that felt great from the first second I wore it and where I hardly noticed breaking them in. I’ll definitely be looking at Ariat again for future boot purchases. I just wish it was easier to get a bigger choice in the U.K.!
I just ordered these yesterday. These will be my first boot once they arrive. Don’t know to much bout boots yet but I saw this video bout these exact boots and I must say I’m excited. They sound like a good boot to.
I've got a pair of traditional cowboy boots with the same color combo as those boots in this video. But the shaft is black instead of navy. It's a really interesting look combining light brown and black! Indeed a classic boot pattern!
I have two pairs of Ariat Boots and love them. One pair The "Cowtown" is made in Mexico and it's a nice Dress Boot. The other pair is the "Rancher". It's a cheaper Boot and made in China. But believe me that Boot is the most comfortable of the two pairs. So I would'nt turn my nose up anymore when someone says "Made in China" These are good strong Boots.
I was looking at those Cowtowns as an alternative to my Lucchese and Tony Lamas for a good looking boot that I can rough up without worry. Do they break in well?
@@j.dominguez8433 Yes the Cowtown is a nice boot and brings a bit of color with them. The leather is a bit stiff at first but after about a week, They get nice and comfortable. Insole feels very comfy and absorbent with shock an walking. 👍 Great vids on boots. Since Ariat has sponsored you might want to do a whole video on their most popular brands/styles. See if they will let you do a complete sponsored video on the history of Ariat. 🇺🇸
Yessss the stiffness in the Ariats is rough. I have recently gotten back into cowboy boots and I got a few pairs of Ariat boots based on some recommendations, and I find them very comfortable for walking and the fit is good, but that pain over the top of the foot is rough and that leather is STIFF. I have a higher arch so I thought maybe it was just me, but I'm glad to know I'm not alone. I also found two of the pairs I got were thirsty AF when I received them, and needed to be conditioned a few times before they finally felt in good shape. Overall I love the insoles on these though and they are beautiful looking boots. Hoping that after wearing them for a little longer that leather finally loosens up.
Congratulations on your sponsorship! You’re the best cowboy boot reviewer on TH-cam. So you deserve it! I have 3 pairs of Ariats. Mine are all made in Mexico. Ariats Mexican made boots are much better than their Chinese boots. Make sure you try some of them.
Nice boot for square toe . Ariats are good boots. Always pre-fill that oil filter, it's a little messy but your engine will love you as much as your boots do.
I prefer Durango for a boot because of the build because of my larger legs and feet but I have to say those ariats are nice. You can work in them but to me they seem more of a dress boot. 🤔🤠👍👌🌵🐎🐂
Not bad looking boots. I’m not really sure how I feel about Ariats. They might be super comfortable for those who spend their days doing hard work in boots, but I’m a bit of a purist when it comes to my boots. I may give em a try someday if I find a really good deal. Congrats on the sponsor!
i currently have the black square roe ariat ropers and fiddle brown ariat sport westerns. i want the round toes ropers in both brown and black next. they are stiff at first so other than bending em by hand or working the leather with my foot i pretty much just sat in em all day and night watching tv til they broke in naturally so comfy now at first i wasn't fond if a square toe look but they've grown on me.
Great review, those Ariats with the Bantamweight Sole are really well executed. the Sole of a Cowboy Boot is very important, while no single sole is a silver bullet, its important to understand what sole might be best suited for you and how you wear them. I found out the hard way on a nice smooth leather sole with a pair of |Ariats once, I was crossing a wet log over a creek, once the log got wet the smooth leather sole hydroplaned and I slipped off and into the waist deep creek I went lol I do like these boots and have been impressed with the quality of Ariats!
Great looking boot, if they hold up and are comfortable once there broke in that’s what matters, I’ve have a couple pairs of Ariats and I’ve never had a complaint with them, where and how there made doesn’t matter to me as long as I feel I can get my money’s worth out of them.
Dude, I bought these exact boots as my first pair of western boots, and I totally agree with you man, the break in process is killer😂 I bought mine in February of this year and I’ve recently started to wear them every day to totally finish the break in, and even now they still don’t feel all the way broken in yet, after almost a year of wear. They’re at the point now where they are super comfortable and I love the hell out of these boots. The break in sucks, but if you tough it out, they’ll turn out amazing, great review man!
I'm glad you agree! It's different than other boots I've tried as far as break in period but I can already feel how they will settle in. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience too!

I do get allot of life from them. hey, You should try some Anderson Bean boots. Very comfortable traditional boots. My favorite brand.
Hey brother, I got a question. My last pair of boots are a justin brand. I have had some foot trouble and have to wear a brace on my left foot. With the brace it causes one of my toes to rub and cause a blister. Mine are 10.5 EE cause I have wide feet and they are the medium round toe. I seen in another one of your vids that sometimes going to square to, you mite go a size down. I was wondering if i would still need a wide boot if i go to an ariat square toe? Thanks in advance! And I love your reviews!!
where are they made ? some in china , some elsewhere? not sue i like the idea of it being glued in, not sewn . all that said- good video, ariat made a good move having you review the boots. ~ JDS/CT 3 pm
Mine are a similar size of Ariat boot with the same sole. Ryden Ultra Western boot. I love the elephant print style leather on mine. I guess mine were a little stiff at first but they are breaking in pretty well. I do wish the sole was replaceable but hopefully the sole will last a long time. I've always wondered if they could just replace the whole sole with a leather sole when wears out. Or maybe that might cost more than the boots worth. Mine were on sale for $189. But tax season I plan on getting a leather sole boot or maybe a hybrid leather with rubber traction pads on it. I mainly just wear my Ariats on weekends. I'll have to see how well they hold up.
Not sure if they'd be able to replace with a leather outsole. The welt isn't leather or rubber so I don't think it would be worth it. These soles can still be replaced though. You just have to go through an Ariat certified place
Jeremiah Craig I soaked mine in water and walked in them until dry then conditioned them, before that my feet were hurting way too much to wear them but the water softened the leather and now they’re my most comfortable boots.
As far as i know Ariat boots made in china, and this fact can turn off some folks from product. But honestly, if you need western style workboots, ariats possibly the best variant. Cowboys from Bryansk farms so pleased with them, the only minor issue, boots loose original colour pretty fast, but you need keep in mind, that after each shift Bryansk cowboys shower their ariats with "water pressure gun" (sry, idk how it's named). And even after such treatment the leather stays tough (in good way) and doesnt cracks or something.
Wow I never knew Ariats were so popular in Russia! Very cool. I don't mind where boots are made as long as they are made with a purpose other than just to make money. I like to see some passion and purpose in cowboy boot companies.
I think this was a great review. To be honest I’m a huge Ariat fan and I’m transitioning off of Justin’s traditional western boot, not to say they were bad but it was just time. Cool that you’re from NE. Maybe we’ll cross paths as I am from Lil Rhody. Great video jeep it coming brother.
Hi Jeremiah, honesty from an owner, I have a pair, ok the leather in my opinion is really hard, non pliable, the boot itself hasn’t stretched, in fact I have Ariat Ropers as well and they are still very stiff after about 8 years. The Plano is light, with a lot of emphasis on the insole, which in my opinion doesn’t compensate for the quality of other brands. The toe box despite the wide square toe crushes the top of the toe area. Ariat is essentially a product range more focused on marketing a brand , than delivering something original and genuinely comfortable to wear. Reality, the Plano, it’s not a boot it’s more like a very stiff uncomfortable sneaker. The character of the boot once walking around for a bit, slops like a rubber gum boot and my feet ache. I’ve had my planos since July 2019 and despite leather conditioner , it’s still stiff and very uncomfortable. I have the exact same Plano including the colour. Yes it’s light, but I have to be honest, they kill my feet and really aren’t worth the $300 plus price being asked for in Australia. If a search was done for western boots in Australia, Ariat would be the number 1 boot for sale on the second hand market, either new or worn, which in my opinion says high turn over and a flooded market due to branding only, not reliable comfort. In my opinion because of the high volume of Ariat for sale, it reflects a poor choice of brands locally and licences are being issued to suppliers, holding Australian consumers to ransom. I don’t believe the Ariat boot is designed for reliable wear and comfort, rather turn over. Repairs on Ariat according to the stores who sell the products, require the boot to be returned to Ariat, which is expensive and so the boot becomes landfill due to it being cheaper to buy a new pair, like a sneaker, rather than sending it by post all the way to the USA and back. As you know I have many boots and have to say that despite the Plano being an attractive looking shoe, the boots in my opinion , the leather is incredibly hard, not comfortable and should be priced well below $100 Australian.
Another great video Jeremiah! Love your channel. If you have the opertunity check out Canada West boots. Great, high quantity boots made entirely in Winnipeg Manitoba...... Thanks again!
I know this video is three years old but today is my first time to see it. I had a pair of ariat that had this sole they are a piece of junk. I sold them in a garage sale. When you walk in rocks you can feel every rock through the sole They do not compare to the rough stock
These can be resoled. You just have to go through Ariat or one of their partners. Other than that, it depends on what type of work you're doing. If you haven't seen my video about what to look for in cowboy boot brands check this out: th-cam.com/video/tt7TTGybV7g/w-d-xo.html. A crepe sole is great for walking all day too
I want to buy these boots online. would you recommend taking them one size smaller than other shoes, the same size or one size bigger? Kind Regards from Austria ✌️🤠

Hey Jeremiah, has your wife ever tried Shyannes? I have had mine for over a month now and I still don't think I really broke them in. I condition them almost every time I put them on and yes they still feel a little stiff on the instep. Any other suggestions?
Sometimes they do but a lot of times is a promotional partnership. Bick 4 is a great conditioner for all leathers except for suede, roughout and distressed leathers. Scout is a good conditioner brand too from my experience.
Love your videos man what type of boot do you recommend for hard work I’m starting to do disaster and response work and want a good pair of tough cowboy boots.
Cowboy boots might not be the best for that. You work during a flood and those boots are gonna get full of water and it's gonna get heavy and tough to move. I'm not sure what would be best but the first thing that comes to mind is combat boots
Hey bud, I recently bought my first pair of boots and they’re a size 10. They literally run perfect (I usually wear a size 11 on regular shoes) but idk if Ariat has similar sizes.
Hey Caleb! If you haven't worn them in awhile I would also recommend to go try some on. Get measured at a boot store because it's also really important to know your width. The correct size and width are very important to a correct fitting boot
Hi man! I'm interested in these boots. I'm a traditional cowboy boot guy, I like the construct to be all leather, stacked leather heel etc etc. My feet get sore relatively quickly wearing my sendra medium round toes, two inch heel boots. I'm considering getting these as a daily walking back and forth to work boot, along cobbled roads. Would you recommended these for that kind of use, and is there perhaps a similar brand/boot style in square toe that would do a better job? Cheers!
These aren't all leather nor do they have the leather stacked heel but these would do well for what your saying for sure. That or the Dan Post Diamond Pro line. Again not all leather but the crepe sole is good for lots of walking on roads
@@JeremiahCraig thanks man! I'm gonna look into those Dan post now. Yes I know these are far from all leather but was asking just to see if the more synthetic/plasticy stuff is better for all day wear. Thanks!!!
I'm planning to do the Chartbuster or the Cowhand this year at some point! I probably won't do both because they are very similar and the differences would be very small if there were any differences besides the colors.
@@JeremiahCraig Awesome man! Love to hear it. Can’t wait for more vids this year. Your content is super dope and has helped me a lot getting into the boot world.
I'm getting the ariat sport riders for Christmas and I was wondering if I should just get the duratread or this outsole. Idk im debating with myself trying to figure it out
I say it all depends on what you're gonna be doing. The Duratread is gonna be heavier but have a lot more traction and the Bantamweight is light will less traction but still not bad at all. TBH I think the Bantamweight is a better all around sole and you can use it in lots of different situations
Depends on what you're going to be using it for. It's not going to last you as long as other brands will in the same price point but Ariats have a unique feel to them. The Bantamweight ones are very much like a sneaker so if you like that feeling this may be a good choice for you

where are they made ? some in china , some elsewhere? not sue i like the idea of it being glued in, not sewn . all that said- good video, ariat made a good move having you review the boots. ~ JDS/CT 3 pm
These are made in China. Their Mexican made boots have more stitching and goodyear welts. Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Ariats are pretty comfortable but the break in period is super painful but once they break in they fit like a pair of gloves on your feet.
I'm starting to really understand this!
Thank you for the review, great boots!
No probs! Thanks for watchin
I got my stars and stripes square toe wb's they are so nice!
I love my boots and they are the same model and it's awsome
They're a nice weight right? I like that best. Very light
@@JeremiahCraig I like it but I also like a heavier boot
I do a steel square toe workhog h20 , I’ll say this ... I can run around in those things all damn day . Comfy as f**k.
I tried a pair of these on in a cavanders and fell in love but didn't and still dont have any money to ge them so here hoping I can find a job soon
Makes sense to me. Totally not worth $300
Another great video Jeremiah! Love your channel. If you have the opertunity check out Canada West boots. Great, high quantity boots made entirely in Winnipeg Manitoba...... Thanks again!
Thanks DW! I got it on my list!
I know this video is three years old but today is my first time to see it. I had a pair of ariat that had this sole they are a piece of junk. I sold them in a garage sale. When you walk in rocks you can feel every rock through the sole They do not compare to the rough stock
Fantastic review. Very honest and fair. I bought the Plano as my first boot. This unbiased review helps a lot.
What would be a good boot for walking and working all day that could be resoled eventually
These can be resoled. You just have to go through Ariat or one of their partners. Other than that, it depends on what type of work you're doing. If you haven't seen my video about what to look for in cowboy boot brands check this out: th-cam.com/video/tt7TTGybV7g/w-d-xo.html. A crepe sole is great for walking all day too
Awesome I’ll check it out
Ariat and wolverine make great cowboy work boots
Great video, love the content!
Thanks so much!
Just got a pair. Love them.
those are a beautiful pair of boots!
Awesome video TY for sharing
Thanks for watching Randall!
Congrats on your achievement.
Good video, I think they just sold another pair of those just now 👍👍
For the Tannin/Tack Room Brown color do you recommend mink oil or another leather conditioning ?
I'm so hype for you to be sponsored!
Thanks Nicolas! Me too!
Great pair of boots
“That ginger snap palette”. Haha
😆
I bet that rubber outsole is nice in the city
Hey where can i get those same type of jeans you have on? Thanks!
I want to buy these boots online.
would you recommend taking them one size smaller than other shoes, the same size or one size bigger?
Kind Regards from Austria ✌️🤠
You deserved to be sponsored by ariat..i'm very interested to follow you in youtube & instagram
Thanks Yusuf! Wouldn't have happened without folks like you being here!
@@JeremiahCraig hi brother.. I'm from kingdom of Bahrain.. I'm very far away from USA.. But when I start following you i fell in love with cowboy style.. I saw your instructions to buy a cawboy boot online.. My hight and boot size is same to you.. I bought 11D justin boots online and im wating to wear it soon.. I'm very lucky to know someone friendly like you.. Thanks brother for your reply
The song at the end cracked me up. LOL.
Lovely looking boots 👍🏻
Hey Jeremiah, has your wife ever tried Shyannes? I have had mine for over a month now and I still don't think I really broke them in. I condition them almost every time I put them on and yes they still feel a little stiff on the instep. Any other suggestions?
Love your Vids!
Thanks!
Do you know if different manufacturers recommend different conditioners for their leather or what conditioners do you recommend
Sometimes they do but a lot of times is a promotional partnership. Bick 4 is a great conditioner for all leathers except for suede, roughout and distressed leathers. Scout is a good conditioner brand too from my experience.
Thank you sir love boots almost as much as you do and the videos
Love your videos man what type of boot do you recommend for hard work I’m starting to do disaster and response work and want a good pair of tough cowboy boots.
Cowboy boots might not be the best for that. You work during a flood and those boots are gonna get full of water and it's gonna get heavy and tough to move. I'm not sure what would be best but the first thing that comes to mind is combat boots
Jeremiah Craig thank you 🙏 I’ll keep that in mind when I get boots for that, keep up the great content as usual!
Hey bud, I recently bought my first pair of boots and they’re a size 10.
They literally run perfect (I usually wear a size 11 on regular shoes) but idk if Ariat has similar sizes.
What type of pants do you recommend for boots like this?
I haven’t worn cowboy boots since I was like 11, and want to start doing it again. How do I know what size I need?
Try them on in person.
Thanks!!!
Ariat boots las mejores!
Jeremiah, What's your favorite jeans to wear with boots? Looking to try some new options. I currently wear Levi's.
My favorites are Levi 527s
Try Ariat jeans. They’re great! Also try Rock and Roll cowboy jeans. They’re nice too. I like the Ariats a little better. Buy boot cut of course
This boot's are awesome
Review the Ariat Chartbusters please?
Why don't you have 4 Million Subscribers and only 4500?
You're a nice guy ;)
Where can i to buy those boots? Iooks amazing man.
Amazing review! Just got my Ariats yesterday and so far i’m loving them. I do have the same problem with you though as the leather is extremely tough
Yeah they do take a little bit extra time to break in but I’m glad you’re liking them! Thanks for watching!
You should do a review on ariat caprock boots!
I did a video on its brother boot the Holder! - th-cam.com/video/pFLyEzYoeUk/w-d-xo.html
@@JeremiahCraig thanks man. Also u make great videos keep it up man.
What style are those jeans?
I love your Vids!
I was the 1k like on this video lol seen you had 999 so was like well might as well give him one more like
How much they cost?
As your first sponsored video from a boot company, does that make them the over the moon boots? :)
Kind of like a sneaker boot. I'd be interested in a review of a real cowboy work boot,
I’m looking to get an ariat boot. It would be my first pair and I wanna k ow if it’s a good boot.
Depends on what you're going to be using it for. It's not going to last you as long as other brands will in the same price point but Ariats have a unique feel to them. The Bantamweight ones are very much like a sneaker so if you like that feeling this may be a good choice for you
Jeremiah Craig Im looking for an all around boot kinda a cheaper boot
I love ariat boots and will only buy ariat boots
I LOVE THIS BOOTS JEREMIAH , I A M FROM GREECE AND HERE DONT HAVE ARIAT SQUARE BOOTS........... PLEASE HELP ME !!!!
Doing what I can by making these videos!
How cost this boots?
