Hey Strat, noticed your bannerlord videos have slowed down. If it's because of a lack of ideas, you could do a M&B version of what LegendofTotalWar is doing, and saving people disaster saves.
My man Strat always coming in clutch with the awesome Bannerlord content - I don't even put together an army without seeing your troop rankings to find out the best troop builds.
Its not that people are discovering it through bannerlord. Warband is where it gained a cult following and modding community. That popularity led to the success that bannerlord became on launch which allows more people to discover it like this guy.

Warband and Bannerlord are some of the most roleplaying of roleplaying games, you can sink hours into it and build your character in skills and political power... It's not for everyone, but it truly let's you free in a Medieval-like world.
@@orbit1894 The difference is that Starfield has pretty bad main base of game itself, so even modders say that they probably won´t be able to save it. Bannerlord has pretty well done main things (soldiers,cities, fighting), but for some reason they choose to completely ignore smaller things. Like really, making bandit groups bigger to add something to do even in later stages, place there few bands of bandit knights with actual soldiers, make more quests, add few basic diplomatic options and many other things are all things for which they have tools and it would be very easy (for bandits just replace number, bandit knights just bandits with different soldiers, quests are just texts, how hard can it be...), but they just choose to not do them, so we have to install atleast 20 mods to fix even those basic things, although they drastically improve the game.
Sorry but Roleplaying was overlooked by the devs, they focused in making an arcade "fight, loot, sell, repeat" loop where is all you do in the game, quests are horrible and repetitive, there's barely any interactions with NPCs IF ANY, yes that includes your wife and children, and the AI is not smart at all to take decisions either. I love Bannerlord but it gets boring for this precise reason. Unless of course you're talking about making up events when you play to immerse yourself in the game, which is what most players do (watch any streamer), which is honestly... not good, the devs really need to start paying attention.
man, I remember getting introduced to the M&B games way back when Bannerlord was a meme for how long it was taking to make the game. Learning how to make money, making the huge discovery that raiding made you a ton of money, learning that chambers were even a thing... Now I stand here watching the video almost bewildered at how someone does not know the basic mechanics. In retrospect, Mount & Blade is a really unique series that honestly you don't see any other games trying to do the same thing as it did. Take your character, raise your party, fight other parties where all units individually fight under a very simple yet somewhat challenging combat system, learning how to use formations and tactics, becoming a mercenary and fighting in massive battles, becoming a vassal and taking your first castle, becoming a king and slowly rise up to rule Calradia. Hope this dude takes more time with this game. Really worth it! Less talking, more raiding!
After playing for fifty hours I realized that I don't get to vote for myself after capturing a city because I don't have fiefs close to the captured one..
its really frustrating sometimes for some reason there are always almost no info on this game out there you need to really SEARCH for what you want to know i was trying to find on the net why i cant vote for myself, but the only thing i found was M&B support thread that was unanswered@@TheGmaxMan
I somehow played 250 hours of this this year and I don't remember what I've done in it, I never completed it, the music makes me feel like I'm in a fever dream and I somehow blink and my day has ended because I've been playing it since 8am till 12am
Subbing for more Bannerlord gameplay. Can't wait until you join your first 100+ man battle Some Tips: + Tournament = Great way of earning early $ + fame + high-tier gear. + Archer & Horse Archer are OP when your character is good at it. + There's a hotkey for cheering in this game + More horse/mule = more weight capacity = faster army movement + Variety of food = happy army = Happy army = higher morale = higher morale means they will fight better and not run away. + Learn to use formation. The infantry's strongest strength is to stick together and overwhelmed. Charging them against horses scatters them. They are smart enough to stand in formation and support each other. Regular armies do this in the game. + Learn to use spear + horse (You have a horse for a reason; use hit & run with spear, then get lance to couch attack) + Do not use spear in close-combat. You have no room to "thrust" the spear, switch to sword at that point.
I want to correct one thing. Mules, sumpters, and ponys increase carrying capacity a lot, but slow down movement speed. Other horses increase carrying capacity a little bit, but also increase movement speed
"Engage in diplomacy" **footage of a guy speeding on a horse about to swing his two-handed axe that will probably chop someone's entire torso clean off** Ah yes, diplomacy.

I'm still baffled as to how we don't have more games in this genre it's an absolute gem. Been playing since Warband beta and still come back to it regularly because there's nothing else like it out there.
A tip for getting better at combat: Go to a town and head to the arena, you can talk to the arena master and do "training" there. Its kind of like a "horde mode" free for all. Enemys keep spawning fighting eachother and you, you get random weapons so you can feel out what you like. Ditch the shield you might get for a couple rounds and ONLY focus on blocking, you will get a lot better quickly in terms of being able to consistently block without a shield. Also a very good way to level up your characters skills in a variety of weapons you might not otherwhise be able to acquire this early and its 100% risk free
I love bannerlord so much it’s my favourite game but I haven’t really been able to find a TH-camr than makes good content in the game with no mods and actually makes it entertaining. You are one of the best I’ve found at making it entertaining to watch! Great video!
That's because most of us have been here since the start and aside from the time period and a few new units mechanics and stuff it's really the same game as warband. Much improved don't get me wrong bannerlord is a sequel deserving of it's profits but it's not the assassins creed 2 to assassins creed one level of sequel we were hoping for so mods help us change things up so we can keep enjoying the game.

Awesome to see you playing this game I love and booted up a new campaign this week! hahaha You are in Calradia, as a minor clan. In the world map, you can see the major clans and their "fiefs", cities or castles. Each major clan has specific units, their commoner line (infantry, archer, lancer and such) and noble line (battanian noble that becames Fian, Vlandian squires that can be knights and such), and due to their position in the world, you'll see in most cases some wars and conflicts, that you can be really influential if you train your character and amass some 100+ army. With some clan levels, you can be a mercenary or even a vassal for one of the major clans (while you are small), get involved in their wars and much more. Mounted bow is broken. Have fun discovering this awesome game!
the game is just incredible...my brother married some girl, which unknowingly to me started winning tournaments for 30k, funding my army...this is not something many games can do
Tip from someone with 260 hours in this game, if you want a lot of reliable money, level up your smithing and make 2-handed swords. You'll eventually get to a point where you can make and sell one sword worth 55k
@@Mark-by5jx trading and then lord hunting (start with the mecenery factions) and then buy workshops. (warning haven't played the game in a while things might have changed.) Good trades are hardwood, sells high in aserai lands. Horses (donkeys and saddle horses) from kuzait lands, they can be bought cheap there and make a profit in empire lands. (though it requires a big investment, and theres a perk that makes it much more viable so stick to other forms of trading first) Furs from the north, sell decently ererywhere else.
@@Mark-by5jx First time playing? Just go with the flow of the game. Fight. Fight. Fight. Clear bandits. Become a mercenary. Join a faction. Once you get into large scale conflicts you will be pulling in massive amounts of loot to sell. And that is much more natural and fun than sitting in town waiting for crafting stamina. After that? Use mods/console commands/cheats to skip the grind. There are cheats on consoles now too.
How come bro? This is an absolute unfinished masterpiece, nothing was able to achieve the same goals so well. This a must play for everyone fan of similar genres.

I really enjoyed this video, didn’t even realise it was 30+ minutes when I clicked it 😂 and when the video finished I felt as though it was too short 😂😂. In this video you basically scratched the surface of the game, it’s incredibly satisfying once you build up your troops and play the game using battle tactics and winning battles even when outnumbered. ( if you can’t be bothered for the grind there’s in-game built cheats, where you can increase your party size to max as well as skills,money, fiefs etc!!! )
@@jayveeeee Ngl, the original Mount and Blade/Warband were some of the best fun I've had in gaming. The modding communities for those games were SUPER active. Everything from the attempts at more realistic stuff like the Brittanica mods (think Vinland Saga. Lol) or just these massive ancient Europe/Crusades mods, to Warhammer mods (nothing quite beats charging up a siege tower onto the castle walls with a bastard sword,, swinging for the fences and slaughtering hundreds of Orks.....while also spamming the Heal command because I'm a dirty cheater and I charged into a wall of arrow fire, and I just end up covered head to toe in my own blood. 😅) to Star Wars to ASOIAF/Game of Thrones to freaking HIGH SCHOOL OF THE DEAD (yes, someone made a mod for that. Lmao), they had it all covered. Plus some fun entirely new stuff, like the Prophecy of Pendor mod, or....what was it called.....it was some gothic story based one, which drew from lots of different works (like one of the quests being based on the Telltale Heart, for example). People got really creative, is my point. 😁
How to get started in bannerlord: first, blow most of your monry on recruits and grain, then hunt looters, dont worry about losing troops they're just recruits. Sell the loot and prisoners and hire more recruits, level up a few recruits at a time, by the time you have 15 men and 10K gold you reach clan lvl 2, then find a kingdom at war and become a mercenaty for them. Tag along with allied armies and fight in battles with them, you'll get better loot and more money and as the lords are busy fighting the other factions, looters and regional bandits like sea raiders, desert bandits, forrest bandits etc... will be plentiful. As they'll also be attacking villagers and caravans this is also the best time to learn the trading mechanics and make easy money buying from villages and selling to cities. Eventually you'll be able to join a faction as a vassal and when a castle (or if you're lucky, a city) is taken you might recieve it. Evetually, a city sonewhere will rebel, if you're fielding an army at least 150 strong with a good 200K in the bank, you can peave your faction by talking to the action leader and take that city for yourself. However be warned, since you're weak and poor by faction standards, you'll likely be targetted by neighbouring factions so prepare for that and seek peace as quick as possible.
if you like game of thrones, check out the realm of thrones mod. Every Single Faction....has beautiful troops, most troop trees are massive and have special house troops. Tons of armors and weapons added, you can recruit giants, you can buy some unsullied for like 1k gold a piece (min buy 50) And most familiar characters are dotted around as companions. Some with some very good stats (Cough...jamie...cough) and you could even rectruit Wun Wun as a compaion...if you can find him. They have a new update releasing to everyone in early Jan i belive, which adds tons more events too! Previously they just had the renly getting yeeted by caspar the ghost stuff, but now theres tons more like Stannis failing to take kings landing and going up to the wall, Dany invades later on and takes dragonstone, the red wedding happens (and you can stop it if youre so inclined!!) in fact you can stop renly even getting killed if you manage to behead melisandre at the right time. And ofcourse...you can get a dragon. Which is basically a reeealy big horse that kills stuff it touches and can breathe fire (maybe abit OP tbh). Also something nice in this latest patch was they added a few more settlements like a YI-TI one in the top right. Summer isles one way down south, and a Skagosi one in the north east, and since they are their own faction they remain pretty small. So it gives the players an oppourtunity to get an actually settlement without having to fight a major faction. Highly reccomend as someone that basically only plays this mod when playing bannerlord, must have atleast a few hundred hours in it now
This game is the GOAT, or even All time classic This game took all of the best part of Total War, Age of Empire, Skyrim, and Blend it into one single Crazy good Game. when i envision a perfect game, this is the only game that come to mind. you're leading your own battle, commanding your troops directly in the battlefield, you're fighting alongside them, and not just counting Bean in the corner, and let your Troops fight for you like any other strategy game Each battle Against another Kingdom is Epic, it's just straight out of a Movie you can even use a real world military strategy in this game i think this is one of the Best game, it allow you to do whatever you want, Create your own story, create your own goal, fight a stronger and outnumbered battle, use your wits, exploit enemy weakness and feel like a Badass. and the best part is, this game still have a Lot of room for improvement, this game could become even better, but, because people in general was allergic to Strategy game, this game somehow never get Mainstream, But it's for a good reason, because i don't want this game to be another Corporate Assasin creed game. i want this game to reach the Peak, because right now, i can see this game improving more and evolve into a Perfect Strategy game. but beware, you can easily spend 5 hours like it was nothing when play this game, it's just that good.
By the way when they have a blue exclamation mark next to them that means they are apart of your quest like the caravan did even and the looters attacking it. Also upgrading your troops is good because your troops can get really good at fighting. Tournaments also help you get good at fighting and you can win money

I just found your channel, and enjoyed the video so much I wat hed it straight through. Have no checked out your actual channel page but if you have more MandB Bannerlord 2 videos I would definetly watch. I have heavily modded the game and think it is one great fun. Hopefully you keep enjoying it too. My wife occasionally would laugh or giggle at my charachter and play throughs of it as well.
Protip, you may wanna play around with the Sandbox mode. It's more in line with how Warband worked, as you don't get lead as much as in the Story Mode you played.
Pro tip: this is bad advice. Just don’t do the campaign. But absolutely take your free overleved companion brother and 2 siblings that will be ready to serve you in a few years. TLDR: do campaign. Save your siblings (free party members) stop after getting the Banner.
It maybe awkward at first but nothing is more satisfying then that perfect horseback spear charge. That or breaking a large enemy force and reinforcements only to spare no one as they run for their lives.
I love this game, I was even guilty of taking a day of work to play it a week ago! The game also is not finished yet, and the modding community is active enough as well.
I fought 800 vs my 300 men today and man what a glorious death 😂, we fought to the last man, we killed 700 of the enemy but at last their calvary wiped me and my men off the face of the map

Mannnnnn as a warband vet. With 10k hours + in this franchise. I LOVE when this series gets posted theses devs DESERVE every bit of recognition they get.
The no music i think is for higher tier raiders the cano raids can actually be kinda hard or if every single person has a bow its not as easy either. So you can take high teir bow units and sneak up and use formations to pick off the bandits along the way so you dont lose to many troops before the fight at the end.
PLEASEEE PLAY MORE BANNERLORD!!!! Please make a walkthrough such as “rise to king” or something along those lines. If you see other videos about bannerlord, such as the ones from the TH-camr Vortide for example, you will be able to see that they are very much liked and watched! It also has an active community who deeply care about the game. ALSO GREAT VIDEOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
When I became a lord in banner lord, my keep had only 300 loyal men, and a siege came to my castle, 300 men died defending against an army of 1500, and we almost had em too. One of the coolest moments I ever had In gaming

I spent many years on reddit shitting on this game... Not really shitting, more like complaining about stuff. That being said. I kept playing it and looking back I realised that Bannerlord is actually the my favourite game...like...ever. It's just great. not perfect but no game will ever be and have everything that everyone wants.
I'd never been bothered by Mount & Blade, I'm more of a space guy than medieval, but I picked up Bannerlord last month and I've logged 100hrs in 1 save so far. I love this game!
You should try to play more of this game, it is so good, once you figure everything out. The mods are crazy good as well. You can even serve as a soldier and climb up the ranks.

Become merc sneak into a siege you can take 1000 with 200-300 just by throwing some rocks and slashing some ladders best way to get a piece or two of high tier armor/wep
Dont know if anyone's told you but make sure to upgrade ur batanian archers as much as possible. They become some of the best ranged infantry in the game

Bannerlord is probably one of my most favorite games I've ever played. I'm just so glad people are discovering it and how good it is.

Roleplay elements are not yet implemented in the game at this stage. There was much more in Warband...

I love bannerlord so much it’s my favourite game but I haven’t really been able to find a TH-camr than makes good content in the game with no mods and actually makes it entertaining. You are one of the best I’ve found at making it entertaining to watch! Great video!

That's because most of us have been here since the start and aside from the time period and a few new units mechanics and stuff it's really the same game as warband. Much improved don't get me wrong bannerlord is a sequel deserving of it's profits but it's not the assassins creed 2 to assassins creed one level of sequel we were hoping for so mods help us change things up so we can keep enjoying the game.
jayvee I really enjoyed your pacing in this video and the way you cut it all together to show us you playing the game and taking us with you, walking us through it. you have a nice voice and I like the content that you create I think it does stand out really well

Awesome to see you playing this game I love and booted up a new campaign this week! hahaha You are in Calradia, as a minor clan. In the world map, you can see the major clans and their "fiefs", cities or castles. Each major clan has specific units, their commoner line (infantry, archer, lancer and such) and noble line (battanian noble that becames Fian, Vlandian squires that can be knights and such), and due to their position in the world, you'll see in most cases some wars and conflicts, that you can be really influential if you train your character and amass some 100+ army. With some clan levels, you can be a mercenary or even a vassal for one of the major clans (while you are small), get involved in their wars and much more. Mounted bow is broken. Have fun discovering this awesome game!
the game is just incredible...my brother married some girl, which unknowingly to me started winning tournaments for 30k, funding my army...this is not something many games can do

I really love bannerlord. He’s a rookie so he’s bound to make mistakes but my god that 10v16 was hard to watch lol very easily winnable
Tip from someone with 260 hours in this game, if you want a lot of reliable money, level up your smithing and make 2-handed swords. You'll eventually get to a point where you can make and sell one sword worth 55k
Smithing is a waste of time tbh, coming from someone with over a thousands of hours

(warning haven't played the game in a while things might have changed.)
Good trades are hardwood, sells high in aserai lands.
Horses (donkeys and saddle horses) from kuzait lands, they can be bought cheap there and make a profit in empire lands. (though it requires a big investment, and theres a perk that makes it much more viable so stick to other forms of trading first)
Furs from the north, sell decently ererywhere else.
@@Mark-by5jx First time playing? Just go with the flow of the game. Fight. Fight. Fight. Clear bandits. Become a mercenary. Join a faction. Once you get into large scale conflicts you will be pulling in massive amounts of loot to sell. And that is much more natural and fun than sitting in town waiting for crafting stamina.
After that? Use mods/console commands/cheats to skip the grind. There are cheats on consoles now too.
How come bro? This is an absolute unfinished masterpiece, nothing was able to achieve the same goals so well. This a must play for everyone fan of similar genres.

I really enjoyed this video, didn’t even realise it was 30+ minutes when I clicked it 😂 and when the video finished I felt as though it was too short 😂😂. In this video you basically scratched the surface of the game, it’s incredibly satisfying once you build up your troops and play the game using battle tactics and winning battles even when outnumbered. ( if you can’t be bothered for the grind there’s in-game built cheats, where you can increase your party size to max as well as skills,money, fiefs etc!!! )

Ngl, the original Mount and Blade/Warband were some of the best fun I've had in gaming. The modding communities for those games were SUPER active.
Everything from the attempts at more realistic stuff like the Brittanica mods (think Vinland Saga. Lol) or just these massive ancient Europe/Crusades mods, to Warhammer mods (nothing quite beats charging up a siege tower onto the castle walls with a bastard sword,, swinging for the fences and slaughtering hundreds of Orks.....while also spamming the Heal command because I'm a dirty cheater and I charged into a wall of arrow fire, and I just end up covered head to toe in my own blood. 😅) to Star Wars to ASOIAF/Game of Thrones to freaking HIGH SCHOOL OF THE DEAD (yes, someone made a mod for that. Lmao), they had it all covered. Plus some fun entirely new stuff, like the Prophecy of Pendor mod, or....what was it called.....it was some gothic story based one, which drew from lots of different works (like one of the quests being based on the Telltale Heart, for example). People got really creative, is my point. 😁
you should do a full playthrough of this game its amazing, one of the top 3 games i ever played. 1 is sekiro, 2 is red dead 2 ,3 is bannerlord

How to get started in bannerlord: first, blow most of your monry on recruits and grain, then hunt looters, dont worry about losing troops they're just recruits. Sell the loot and prisoners and hire more recruits, level up a few recruits at a time, by the time you have 15 men and 10K gold you reach clan lvl 2, then find a kingdom at war and become a mercenaty for them. Tag along with allied armies and fight in battles with them, you'll get better loot and more money and as the lords are busy fighting the other factions, looters and regional bandits like sea raiders, desert bandits, forrest bandits etc... will be plentiful. As they'll also be attacking villagers and caravans this is also the best time to learn the trading mechanics and make easy money buying from villages and selling to cities.
Eventually you'll be able to join a faction as a vassal and when a castle (or if you're lucky, a city) is taken you might recieve it.
Evetually, a city sonewhere will rebel, if you're fielding an army at least 150 strong with a good 200K in the bank, you can peave your faction by talking to the action leader and take that city for yourself. However be warned, since you're weak and poor by faction standards, you'll likely be targetted by neighbouring factions so prepare for that and seek peace as quick as possible.
if you like game of thrones, check out the realm of thrones mod. Every Single Faction....has beautiful troops, most troop trees are massive and have special house troops. Tons of armors and weapons added, you can recruit giants, you can buy some unsullied for like 1k gold a piece (min buy 50) And most familiar characters are dotted around as companions. Some with some very good stats (Cough...jamie...cough) and you could even rectruit Wun Wun as a compaion...if you can find him. They have a new update releasing to everyone in early Jan i belive, which adds tons more events too! Previously they just had the renly getting yeeted by caspar the ghost stuff, but now theres tons more like Stannis failing to take kings landing and going up to the wall, Dany invades later on and takes dragonstone, the red wedding happens (and you can stop it if youre so inclined!!) in fact you can stop renly even getting killed if you manage to behead melisandre at the right time. And ofcourse...you can get a dragon. Which is basically a reeealy big horse that kills stuff it touches and can breathe fire (maybe abit OP tbh). Also something nice in this latest patch was they added a few more settlements like a YI-TI one in the top right. Summer isles one way down south, and a Skagosi one in the north east, and since they are their own faction they remain pretty small. So it gives the players an oppourtunity to get an actually settlement without having to fight a major faction. Highly reccomend as someone that basically only plays this mod when playing bannerlord, must have atleast a few hundred hours in it now

when i envision a perfect game, this is the only game that come to mind.
you're leading your own battle, commanding your troops directly in the battlefield, you're fighting alongside them,
and not just counting Bean in the corner, and let your Troops fight for you like any other strategy game
Each battle Against another Kingdom is Epic, it's just straight out of a Movie
you can even use a real world military strategy in this game
i think this is one of the Best game, it allow you to do whatever you want, Create your own story,
create your own goal, fight a stronger and outnumbered battle, use your wits, exploit enemy weakness
and feel like a Badass.
and the best part is, this game still have a Lot of room for improvement, this game could become even better,
but, because people in general was allergic to Strategy game, this game somehow never get Mainstream,
But it's for a good reason, because i don't want this game to be another Corporate Assasin creed game.
i want this game to reach the Peak, because right now, i can see this game improving more and evolve
into a Perfect Strategy game.
but beware, you can easily spend 5 hours like it was nothing when play this game, it's just that good.
at 21:34. if you place you men in the bottleneck, it would force the cav. into a confined space. Terrain in this game can make a huge difference.

By the way when they have a blue exclamation mark next to them that means they are apart of your quest like the caravan did even and the looters attacking it. Also upgrading your troops is good because your troops can get really good at fighting. Tournaments also help you get good at fighting and you can win money
I hope this becomes a mini series on the channel. I would love to see someone new playing this game and seeing everything you can do in the game also.

Protip, you may wanna play around with the Sandbox mode. It's more in line with how Warband worked, as you don't get lead as much as in the Story Mode you played.
Pro tip: this is bad advice. Just don’t do the campaign. But absolutely take your free overleved companion brother and 2 siblings that will be ready to serve you in a few years.
TLDR: do campaign. Save your siblings (free party members) stop after getting the Banner.
It maybe awkward at first but nothing is more satisfying then that perfect horseback spear charge. That or breaking a large enemy force and reinforcements only to spare no one as they run for their lives.

I love this game, I was even guilty of taking a day of work to play it a week ago! The game also is not finished yet, and the modding community is active enough as well.

I fought 800 vs my 300 men today and man what a glorious death 😂, we fought to the last man, we killed 700 of the enemy but at last their calvary wiped me and my men off the face of the map

The no music i think is for higher tier raiders the cano raids can actually be kinda hard or if every single person has a bow its not as easy either. So you can take high teir bow units and sneak up and use formations to pick off the bandits along the way so you dont lose to many troops before the fight at the end.
PLEASEEE PLAY MORE BANNERLORD!!!! Please make a walkthrough such as “rise to king” or something along those lines. If you see other videos about bannerlord, such as the ones from the TH-camr Vortide for example, you will be able to see that they are very much liked and watched! It also has an active community who deeply care about the game.

When I became a lord in banner lord, my keep had only 300 loyal men, and a siege came to my castle, 300 men died defending against an army of 1500, and we almost had em too. One of the coolest moments I ever had In gaming

I spent many years on reddit shitting on this game... Not really shitting, more like complaining about stuff. That being said. I kept playing it and looking back I realised that Bannerlord is actually the my favourite game...like...ever. It's just great. not perfect but no game will ever be and have everything that everyone wants.

There's a mod that puts AI on NPCs, so you can actually talk to them via chat, it's incredible

You should try to play more of this game, it is so good, once you figure everything out. The mods are crazy good as well. You can even serve as a soldier and climb up the ranks.

When you feel more familiar with the game, optimise gaming difficulty to realistic level, you will be having the most fun.
Become merc sneak into a siege you can take 1000 with 200-300 just by throwing some rocks and slashing some ladders best way to get a piece or two of high tier armor/wep
Dont know if anyone's told you but make sure to upgrade ur batanian archers as much as possible. They become some of the best ranged infantry in the game
