They are something else the way they play and how Apple will pummel Sherlock 😂and he either hides as best as he can or try his best to jump on mommy 😂 He still so tiny he certainly can’t do much damage compared to the way Apple pouncing on him😂😂😂🐶 but a fun day in the 🌞 sun 😊❤️🙏 Good to see you on the mend Charlie walking without any issues 👍🏻🙏 Happy Sunday to All 🌈🙏
Love Sherlock initiating a tackle only to be body rolled by Apple! He’s a chubby little dumpling! What a beautiful sight! Thank you for sharing the fun!!🐶🐾♥️
Oh Charlie, thank you for this glorious video of these beauties. It makes my day to see them having so much fun together. Glad your leg is on the mend ❤️🩹
Summer zoomies! Great to see Apple having so much fun! Sherlock enjoys the show, shade and leaf stems. Hopefully he will learn the recall from Apple's inspiring energy. Wishing you ongoing steady recovery and applauding your walking "all the way" to retrieve your adorable pup.
Just love seeing Apple do the zoomies around the garden and being playful with Sherlock. Sherlock is certainly growing fast and developing his own independence now 👍
Adorable!! Reminds me of my little girl and her adopted son. They do zoomies together, pounce on each other, wrestle, and just have the best time together. My little special needs boy will also join in on occasion. He may be blind in one eye and one leg may be shorter than his other three, but he doesn't let that stop him from having fun!
Ciao Charlie ti voglio bene
Hi Charlie.. Apple is such a fun Mother.. So glad coz Sherlock doesn't have any siblings to play with.. Thanks for video as always.. Thankful you are healing.. Take care and have a great day and week ahead..
Lovely video. Both Apple and Sherlock have the same 'no retreat' attitude. Is there a direct relative in their past to which you can link that part of their temperament? Bootsie and Boo seem so very laid-back. Also - so sorry to hear about your leg! But a little surprised, too. A chainsaw? Really? After all, everyone knows the best way to amputate a limb is with a hacksaw. You should know that. Please try harder! (Hope you feel better soon !!!)
I would attribute the energy we see in their interaction to 2 factors: 1. Apple's sire, Dylan, had an exceptional background in his pedigree for performance. In fact, he was used as a stud dog by a few very successful agility participants, and produced some outstanding Agility champs. 2. Sherlock is not only a singleton puppy, absorbing all of Apple's attention, but he is also Apple's first puppy. That creates even a stronger than usual bond between the two of them. As far as the chainsaw is concerned, I have lots of experience with it in cutting firewood for my stove, but this was a different sort of job I was trying to do. I was attempting to sculpt some decorative accents very close to the ground on a tree stump, and I learned the hard way that it's not smart to use anything but a firm grip.
@@chaskat35Interesting about the 'energy' link to Dylan. Also, thanks for the videos. As with many people around the world we always look forward to them - they have become important to us. Sort of a 'Cavalier Truman Show'. For you to continue to make the videos after your accident shows remarkable Resiliance. Hope you are 'on the mend' Thanks from us. JB
@@chaskat35 Quick question: Do you have any tips on how to train a Cav to retrieve a ball? We are looking after a 16 week old pup and would like to do this for the owners while they are away. Any tips welcome!
Yes, about 12 years ago we gave up trying to grow grass where the dogs regularly romped. It was a huge investment, but it has worked out wonderfully. Great drainage, easy to pick up poops, and it's always green and the right height.

I ❤ Apple. What a good mommy. Bootsie tried and gave up - too hot to play.
The pounce from the bushes is too funny😂

Omg I cracked up laughing when Apple pounced out of the bushes 😂😂😂

Sherlock cleverly found his safe space where is mother can find him, but not control him. So adorable.
They’re adorable together ❤❤❤❤
Apple is such a good Mom.
Aww Apple’s got the zoomies!!
There’s something just so comical about a cavalier running at full speed, all those feathers and ear’s flying, it never fails to make me smile.
🎉🎉❤ Happy Birthday Apple 🎉🎉❤
Sherlock hiding 🫣 and making you go out there 🤭
And Apple has the craziest head of hair!

I gotta say, I felt Apple was a special girl back when she was a pup. ❤ She certainly doesn’t disappoint.
Sweet!

Will you keep Sherlock??
He may have show/breeding potential, so we will be running him on for a while before we make a final decision.
Looked they were having fun. Is that artificial turf in you back yard?
