I have lived in Riverview for almost 10 years. Over that time, I have witnessed the steady DECLINE in this area! The traffic situation is horrible! It can take over an hour to get 15 miles down the road! Forget it if something happens on the interstate. You will be stuck for hours! I would not encourage anyone to move to Riverview, Fl. especially if they are looking for peace and quiet.
Instead of me replying "Tampa", tell me what part of Tampa itself is clean, affordable and safe. It's hard without naming suburbs like Riverview or Temple Terrace@@argeno9241

The schools in this area look terrible on GreatSchools. Which area had the best schools (7+ rating)?
Search Boyette area of Riverview for elementary to high school rated 8-9. Hope I can help you out when you decide to make the move.
This is Florida after all. We have some good looking areas but everything is going to crap and will continue going to crap under current leadership.
Look into the charter schools
Tampa is a huge Ghetto. Riverview is a traffic nightmare during rush hours. Getting to the highway can take 25 minutes extra
