I think a fox being a pirate fits well with the trope of having foxes being sneaky, cunning and sometimes portraying thieves, or in this case, a pirate. So I like it as him being a wolf wouldn't fit nearly as nice.

I always saw Foxy's "Captain Foxy" look to be his canon- non out of order design. It just fits so well for him to have a pirate hat, the jacket, and the belt across his chest, since that belt covers the hole almost perfectly!
Doesn’t fit the theme of the other originals though, and Withered Foxy does not have the clothes either, which in lore was the base model for the Fnaf 1 animatronics. Also from a mechanical standpoint the clothes would make it harder for the animatronic to preform. Most likely his in-order design doesn’t have anything different than what we can see on his fnaf 1 design. The only missing part that can’t be simply filled in are his feet and lower legs, and it’s most likely he either has boots or bare feet like the others.
@@CrimsonFox07 Doesn't weigh down the arms or head I suppose, I can't say for certain what the in universe reason is, but again withered Foxy also only has pants so it's a reasonable guess that just the pants were a consistent theme
It's definitely funny to see how Foxy has changed between games. His camera-hiding quirk was actually part of the reason he became my favourite in the first FNaF game and has stayed there. The fact that he actively hid from the camera but would sing if you left him alone, to me at least, made him seem shy (foxes are also one of my favourite animals so that helped). Obviously he's well lost that headcanon, but like you said, he's what you'd expect from a pirate fox. And it works. I could see him being a mascot for some kid's thing for sure.
I don't think he's necessarily lost that headcanon. I think it still applies- just not so much to Foxy the character, but instead, the soul possessing the animatronic Fox.
I like that there are a lot of reminders of foxy in the pizza plex, it lends to Roxy's insecurity about her place in the band. She knows she replaced someone popular, and if someone as popular as him can be replaced, then why would she be safe? So of course she has ro tell herself that she's the best, most popular one
@@poopbumholees Jesus. I mean, for only existing for what, 1, 2 years or something? That’s pretty impressive having 3K only after existing for like 2 years. Meanwhile Foxy has been a thing since like 2014.
Foxy managed to hit his peak design at the first go, and the only element that improved his popularity was a voice and attitude that perfectly reflected his unchanged looks. I also think that Scott designed Foxy with his kids, so maybe that's another reason why he has looked so well rounded from the get go.
Crazy how Foxy still has the most actual personality out of the whole band. It really wasn't a competition picking your favourite out of these guys lol
He's a pretty big figure in the FNaF meme community too. As soon as the meme community found out the FNaF movie might only be on Netflix, images of Foxy going "A-pirating we go!" showed up in response. Not true, it will be a theatrical release instead, but it was fun while it lasted.
One of my friends and I had an ingenious idea for how to use Glamrock Foxy in a DLC or a Sequel for SB. Basically in a scrapyard or potentially under the plex, Gregory or a new kid find GR Foxy and he begins to chase them while saying cliche stuff like “You cant outrun a fox” The twist being here that if he catches you, He just pokes you and says “Tag, you’re it” and runs off, revealing he’s not infected by Glitchtrap (cause he was scrapped) and can set him up as an Ally throughout the game.
I have an AU where Ennard (in the form of Molten Freddy) survives the FNaF 6 fire with a bit of damage, later returning when the Pizzaplex is built. A literal main point is that he takes the exoskeleton (it honestly can't be considered a suit in my mind) of Glamrock Foxy to hide in the scrapped animatronic area, and because Glitchtrap has no idea he's there, Foxennard isn't infected. There's a kinda multiple path thing, but considering Ennard is pretty intelligent I imagine that, if found by Gregory, he wouldn't immediately go after him and rather help him to possibly get something out of it later. Add that to the fact that the Funtimes in general seem to have some beef to settle with William, and that's something that could happen. I like your idea, and it reminded me of this particular idea.
One thing to also note was Scott seemed to deliberately hide Foxy from the Fnaf 1 trailer and pre release promotional material, meaning the first people who played the game were the first to find out about the character. Probably both irl and in universe Foxy was made to be more flamboyant and outstanding as he was separated from the other characters so in order to not let him fall to the side of the road was made more “interesting” compared to the others. One might say Foxy was Fnaf's "Breakout Character" but his popularity was probably intended from the start. Sidenote: 4:55 That may be because he’s speaking a lot more quietly and privately in that clip, he may have sounded more “piratey” if he was talking more outloud.
Foxy was indeed deliberately hidden - I suspect that, given his unique design and the fact that he's also hidden even when in the game up until he's about to rush you, Scott probably took that idea from playtesting his game (and I think his family did so as well, which probably helped). You don't see Foxy for a long time, so revealing him early in trailers would've ruined that surprise.
I think what I love about foxy is just how in every game he is always the most unique in terms of gameplay which at least for me made him seem so much cooler than everyone else. Like one of the more extreme examples is fnaf4 where its easy to forget that he actually doesn’t start in your closet but outside like everyone else. But instead of killing you when he gets in there he goes straight for the closet. Combined that with his ability to see through the mask or his ability to seemingly drain the door power when he bangs on it in fnaf1, it just made him seem so much intelligent than the others and an entity on pair with the other OGs like the classic puppet and golden freddy. And I just loved how many different ways you could interpret his weird mechanics story wise. He could be an attention hog who just wants to have the spotlight again after being left out of order for so long, he could be like the other animatronics except with a crippling fear of being watched (which leads to the knife twisty head canon that the soul who eventually possessed him died while trying to hide behind that curtain only to be spotted on the monitor and killer by purple guy when he was the nightguard), or he could just be a playful (ultimately dangerous) trickster having fun being so different from everyone else. He’s just one of the characters that made classic fnaf so much fun to analyze despite not much being concrete and I don’t think I would have stuck with this franchise as long if foxy didn’t exist
I love how the one consistent thing about foxy is when hes voiced he HAS to be a over the top pirate because he was the only character with a strong themeing and characterization so itd be an utter waste to make anything other then a boisterous loud pirate with an affinity for running fast so thats what he allways is
Thing i like about OG Foxy's design is that it's hard to tell if he's intentionally designed to have his endoskeleton exposed or if that's the reason he's out of order to begin with. Also surprised you didn't talk about the speculation that he did the bite of 87 as one of the classic theories
I doubt that Fazbear Ent. would deliberately have an animatronic with its endoskeleton exposed, it would “ruin the magic” for the kids, which is part of the reason Phone Guy says having animatronics lingering around without a costume is against the rules of FFP(while the part of animatronics being “programmed” to wander around and find animatronics without costumes on and put them in a costume is made up, there’s no reason to believe the rule is also made up, preserving the illusion for the kids is a theme running back to the very beginning with the springlock suits). I’m guessing the location had a small fire at Pirate Cove that burned off a good part of Foxy’s costume, and while the animatronic was still functional they probably closed it off until a new costume could be brought in.
@@kaiserreichempireofohio834 I mean, it's not like they're some nearly-realistic characters to begin with. The seams and gaps in the casings for nearly every line are massive, plainly exposing endoskeletal parts - the only parts I could definitely see not being intentionally missing are the hand casing and his wholly bare legs, although the look with the torn pants still works well enough. The main reason it'd seem he doesn't fit on stage is that he's got that damage both on his 'clothing', if you can consider the ratty brown trousers he wears much at all, and the rest on what would otherwise be his actual body - not scars, but open wounds. Then again, the kids might still believe it if they were told it was scarring and not, y'know, holes straight through to exposed bone. The kids would also probably find the legs hilarious, to be fair, since when his feet are on the ground he kind of looks like he's balancing on two peg legs. Kids love that sort of thing.
@@kaiserreichempireofohio834 this is Fazbear entertainment we are talking about they are most likely more worried about lawsuits then a child's imagination I mean look at basically all of the animatronics for example
i like to think Foxy slowly stopped appearing because of a curse that all pirates believe in, foxy's curse was just always breaking down. his design mean that he needed constant maitence and since fazbear wnt. has a habit of neglecting anything not serious, and even then neglecting everything that IS serious, a foxy the pirate with slim design just want possible anymore. any foxy they built was just cursed to fail, another reason Roxanne replaced him, still vaugly the same shape but a new character, and the foxy era woultnd be over in a flash
He just seems to wear out faster. Nearly every version of Foxy is one of the most damaged characters, whether it's the excessive tears and rips on the Withered and classic variants and the complete destruction of Mangle, or just simple things like the uncontrolled and spastic movements of Funtime Foxy. He's always had that aspect of not being wholly stable, and as such ending up falling apart that much quicker than all the others.
This particular character was always high up on my favorite’s list because he ended up as the opposite to Freddy. While Foxy was a fan favorite that was initially kind of an “afterthought,” Freddy ended up on the back burner until, imo, Security Breach. The treatment of Freddy is very odd, especially with Withered Freddy being used in a lot of marketing/promos, despite not actually having any merch.
I like the idea of the Pizzaplex having more Foxy decorations than Roxanne. It feels like it would be incredibly aggravating to Roxanne, literally seeing the Fox she was based on everywhere. The unreal expectations she had to fill that her predecessor left behind. Fits nicely with her core character trait being egotistical. Man, I wish Security Breach was a good game
If I had a nickel for every time one of the original animatronics was replaced with a wolf, I'd have two nickels. And if I'd had a nickel for every time one was replaced with Monty Gator, I'd also have two nickels. And if I had one for every time there was a weird lanky humanoid monster who manipulates and maims people pretended to be one, that would also be two. And if I had a nickel for every time they gave Foxy a pink and white variant that would be two again. Not sure where I was going with this but I am sure amassing a good handful of nickels.
@@lord_raptorade4853 Freddy, in the ending where Gregory kidnaps him. Mister Hippo takes Monties place instead, I believe, while Monty becomes the new lead. Could be misremembering though.
I believe that Glamrock Bonnie and even Pirate Foxy or Glamrock Foxy existed in the pizza plex at that point before Vanessa arrived. I feel that the plex was once a lively place where every animatronic after performing, each were stationed in their themed placed areas, just to entertain guests and make it more enjoyable. E.g.: Glamrock Bonnie in Bonnie Bowl, Roxy in Roxy raceway, Monty in Monty Golf, etc. I think there were also other animatronics as well for example "El chip". I can imagine it was a dream place to work there and employees were having a blast. But after Vanessa arrived things started to change, workers start seeing that endoskeleton attacking them and computers glitching. Things became even more intense when staff started finding damaged animatronics or destroyed out of nowhere. As a result, the whole plex feels so spacious but yet very vacant as if someone was supposed to be there standing there but they are all absent.
Can we talk about how Foxy's role in the books was usurped TWICE by versions of Baby? Starting to think she has it out for him. (Also, it was Carlton not Marla)
The idea that, while the other animatronics were being built, Foxy was sitting there on a stand in a corner, twitching and shrouded in darkness, fits him so perfectly and I do quite wish that it hadn't been retconned just for a somewhat throwaway line (also the very fact that Baby can be mistaken for Foxy in that instance meant that her subsequent claim of being too unique to mistake like that is just.. ridiculously blind to basic logic).
As you said, it’s very surprising and also awesome that Foxy stayed true to his character and wasn’t botched. The additions he got only improved him and it’s nice to see a beloved character keep their charm. With the way this series is going, we really have to count our blessings and appreciate the little things, otherwise everyone is gonna be in for some massive disappointment, I feel.
since foxy has a minor presence in security breach, i think it'd be interesting if he was in the ruin DLC as the only animatronic to not be destroyed. why? because i think it'd be funny for him to be the only animatronic that ISN'T out of order for once.
Foxy in recent years has become one of my favorite characters in the series thanks to my s/o latching onto him as soon as I introduced her to FNaF. Given how shaky a lot of characters' treatment is, it really is nice to just admire how good Foxy has had it. Great characterization, all around great design variants, and some great minigames dedicated to him. You combing through the history of all the characters has been a huge treat! (Also, what's the music track you used around the 3:00 mark? It sounds so familiar but I don't recognize it)
As nice as Roxy is, it's a shame that Foxy didn't get into Security Breach. Imagine Foxy walking around, singing his song. You never knew you wanted it until this moment.
Foxy always struck me as the villain of Freddy’s Band mates. Sort of characters like Hamburglar from McDonalds. Just a Pirate looking to mess with Freddy and Friends but by the end of their little story have a truce over Pizza, before he goes back to being the bad guy.
Foxy is always gonna be such an interesting character, as he just naturally became so popular, I was a fan when there was only 1 game and at first I still preferred Freddy , but after the second game I was boring at first and at the time Withered Foxy was my favorite although I did change my mind. Foxy is always gonna be one of if not the most loved FNAF character and thought he may not be in SB I still am convinced Roxy is just Glamrock Foxy but slightly changed.
Foxy really is the only one who still feels like himself in 2023. It’s nice to see. Also for a potential video suggestion, I’d love to see some more SB hot takes and changes! Things like fixing certain characters like Gregory and Freddy to more redesigns of certain areas like your other SB video, maybe a video about what SB’s story might have been? The February trailer seems to be trying to hint at a story that was very different from the final release. You don’t see too many more, “redesigning/reworking Security Breach” videos anymore and the last one of those types of videos that came out sparked a ton of controversy so I’d love to see more takes from you regarding redesigning that game!
Tbh, I think a lot of Foxy's appeal comes from his more neutral alignment. He's not out to get you, and he'd rather stay in his spot. That is, until you do something that annoys him too much, and even then, he might not kill you on purpose.
I have a theory about how Foxy would be implemented into the Pizzeria. If the “Banned” banners across the roller doors in Kid’s Cove is anything to go off of, then it looks like the Cove was meant to connect to the daycare, which makes a lot of sense for Foxy if he’s not getting a Glamrock makeover. He’d be working more closely with the Daycare Attendant, who is the only other animatronic there to not have Glamrock theming, with the daycare itself having a more “knights and castles” vibe than anything especially 80’s themed. I figured that Foxy would probably entertain younger kids alongside the Daycare Attendant, since what we see in the Kid’s Cove are items that would entertain younger children, like slides and the like, unlike the other themed attractions in the building, like laser tag, mini golf, go-karting, etc. It might even be a relatively new attraction since the Tales from the Pizzaplex books describe a few attractions that we don’t see in-game, like the dress-up area in the story “Under Pressure” or Lally’s Game. It just depends.
Glad that my boi Foxy still kicking it, unlike the other animatronics, he's the only one that so far is getting at least the respect he needs, even if he's not a big part anymore
it's a theory that Pirate Foxy is behind the closed doors of Pirates Cove, being the place for the AR challenge when shooting the targets. would be cool to see him in action in the DLC, he looks so spiffy in that outfit x)
foxy was my favorite from the start and i am eternally grateful for his consistency. sure, he's had _some_ variance, but those designs never seem to stick around for more than a game. he always goes back to pirate.
I had never heard his original voice ever. Now hearing it. I actually prefer the dark, menacing tone. Although his pirate voice is cool - I personally feel it’s too exaggerated. Anyone else looking forward to how they utilise him in the film?
Foxy is certainly the most characterised animatronic in the first game imo. Bonnie will always be my favourite (I miss him so much), but I like Foxy a lot too
I think he would get along with the Daycare Attendant if he were to be in SB. My headcanon is that they were friends co-managing both the Theater and Daycare (Theater kids unite) that’s why he’s so closely associated with them in his cameos :D
Foxy was always a favourite of mine just because of his mechanics but the way his character never really changed how he was portrayed made it easier to love him throughout the series no matter if someone replaced him or not. Thanks for covering him!
Foxy's my favorite character. I love how his FNAF 1 jumpscare was like "arr matey can I trouble ye for a cup of sugar?" I do feel like Foxy was supposed to be responsible for the bite of 87, but once again Scott had to make everything more complicated than it needed to be. I do hope there is a Glamrock Foxy in the future. My pitch is. Foxy looks like Snartles, NATSZ, xxmissrosearts or Letsudraw's versions of Glam Foxy. As for Foxy's Pizzaplex attraction. There is already a Kid's Cove in the Pizzaplex, but since no one is in that attraction, I think it would be best to renovate it into a proper Pirate's Cove. My idea for Pirate's Cove is we see a giant Pirate ship, Kraken ride, Foxy's corner where he tells the kiddies Pirate tales and shanties. Since Foxy is not technically apart of the band, I thought Foxy could have his own Pirate Crew for Pirate’s Cove! With Foxy's crew we'd see the Funtime Foxy version of Helpy, so Fixy. Glamrock Mangle as Foxy's Second mate and Glamrock Lolbit.
My favorite has always been the night marionette but I do like foxy a lot as well. Something about just how janky he and all other iterations of him have been in the lore is just kind of endearing.
I like how the books specifically had Foxy (or atleast someone disguised as him) curse the kid. Mainly due to how superstitious pirates were it just fits tonely for him to do it.
There was a theory by this guy RyeToast that a glamrock foxy was never at the pizzaplex, but he was planned to be integrated there soon with all the branding being there to introduce him beforehand, because unlike bonnie there's no evidence he was there. I think it would be pretty funny if it turned out he was being actively delivered to during the events of security breach and he just shows up to the ruined pizzaplex very confused as to what he missed and wandering around, maybe even virus free and helping kids out. That's how I'd tie him into the DLC
You forgot completely about it, but in FNAF VRs Halloween update, grim foxy appeared. A flaming version of nightmare foxy with a sickle for a hook. This made a reappearance in security breaches princess quest 3 mini game.
I think Roxy’s personality and intentions were made to make fun of Foxy’s popularity. Foxy is the best one, regardless if he tried or not, and Roxy is trying to live up to that name, trying so hard in the process.
I had a sudden mental inage of FNAF 1 Foxy sprinting because he didn’t want to be seen on the cameras. Like he's shy or something. And he's sprinting and thinking to himself "oh shit oh shit oh shit they're going to see me!"
You ever read some of the FNAF fanfics that are actually decently written? Foxy is almost always portrayed as the character types of “the cranky old man” “old friend from the past” “the man out of time (like Cpt America)” and overall as just being both the most consistent and unchanging of the FNAF crew. Foxy’s our rock.
I feel like the reason why foxy is still the same after so long is because he was made with a theme while his bandmates didn’t outside their role in the band.
Awesome video. Small side note, there are actually three more skins/characters who have the different forms, which being Toy Chica, High score Toy Chica and VR Toy Freddy
I'm a big fan of the trend in FNAF where they keep switching the genders of canines specifically, first Foxy, a guy became Mangle (who is dubiously nonbinary, depending on your interpretation) and then the wolf from the twisted ones (portrayed as male) became Roxanne Wolf I just think it's neat (Edit: grammer)
Foxy is my favorite and very special to me, and I kinda wish we could've seen a glamrock version of him because I know I would've loved to see a talking autonomous glam Foxy to give a hug to if the pizzaplex was real
I think foxy.exe not sounding anything like you'd expect him to is part of the joke considering the entire fnaf world halloween dlc is entirely sarcastic and jokey and his level in particular is based off of a stereotypically poorly made .exe game that takes a random character gives them bloody eyes or other generic .exe traits and gives it nondescript easy game play so foxy.exe having a generic creepy voice not at all pirate or foxy themed is entirely fitting
I've always loved foxy and all of his versions, especially Funtime Foxy surprisingly, because I thought that he looked cool and for little kid me, that's all that mattered
Gotta say I enjoyed this video far more than I thought I would! I didn't think that a deep dive on one character would be particularly enthralling, but you did a really good job with it. Looking forward to seeing the Music Man video!
I like ideal that the people who made the pizza plex are like “ok we can change up whatever we want BUT DONT CHANGE FOXY he makes so much money were not changing him at all”
I'm- I'm not ready to revisit that... horrible day... *Thousand yard stare* ...I still hear him sometimes... *From bottom of Canyon*: YARARARARRAHEREHER
Ik someone else probably said this but Rockstar foxy only has one desth line I believe, thag being "You win some, you lose some". The clip played was his death line after he killed you.
You should talk about the mistreating of bonnie of how he was heavily shafted and continually pushed aside from a main character to a forgotten one which really sucks bc he was my favourite for years
It probably isn't going to ever come up again, but I think Withered Foxy's voice in FNAF World works really well, not as a general Foxy voice, but for Withered Foxy specifically! It has a similar broken warbling sound like Withered Chica's and Withered Bonnie's voices, but less severe, which makes sense, considering he's the second least torn apart, after Withered Freddy. I honestly believe that's how he'd probably sound if he was in Ultimate Custom Night!
Rockstar foxy is one of my favourite, he seems very chill, only get annoyed randomly when he doesn’t feel like helping you, he’s just a lazy man with a bird
*_Why change something that's perfect?_* He's always been my fave, and he always will be. And I hope so much, that he won't be touched for a little bit, so when he makes an appearance again, it can once again, be charming and a at least somewhat terrifying.
My theory about SB Foxy is that he’s a holdover from a previous version of the Fun Complex, and was popular enough that his sections survived rebranding.
0:30 It took me years- YEARS- to realize that Foxy is not holding a hand up to the camera. That's his chest?! 😂 I just thought to myself "wait, isn't that the wrong hand?" looked closer, and blew my whole mind. That aside, GREAT video! ❤ Foxy has always been a favorite of mine and I am so happy to see him unchanged and living his best life.
Is it safe to call Foxy a semi-introvert? He is clearly not 100% introvert, but more introverted than the others. In FNAF1 he was stopped by cameras, in FNAF2 flashing light at him (as if giving him attention) makes him go back, in FNAF3 you need to directly look at him to trigger his attack (is this a stretch?), in FNAF4 he hides in the closet, in FNAF5 I think is the only time I can't even stretch much for this argument (Funtime Foxy is the least introverted Foxy, probably), in FNAF6 he existed, but same Foxy in UCN kept things fast (like, you touch his Parrot, you ask him for help, end of business. Or die if he doesn't feel like it) and doesn't come out too often.
When I was little I was a BIG fan of pirates, so obviously Foxy was my favorite. Now it's not necessarily the case but it will always be special for me. In all the games where he appears he always gave me a different vibe from the others. Besides, it's funny because although it's true that Funtime Foxy doesn't have a big role at all in any game in which he appears, I still think he's my favorite Foxy and I don't know why, but I clearly find that he has been underused. Besides, even if I don't really know if we can consider Lolbit as a "Foxy", maybe more like a variant of Mangle or just a character apart, I think he deserved at least to be mantioned in the video (as a FNAF World fan) Now I would say that Chica is my favorite (of the FNAF 1 gang) and that's why I would love to see a video about her.
I can't believe you didn't mention the maze minigame from the help wanted dlc. I love the flaming reaper foxy so much, not to mention how that minigame led to sb
It's weird. Someone else said the video was glitching out too. O.o I think it might be because the video is processing... again. After going through initial and HD processing, lol.
@notrealnamenotatall2476 that makes sense. I have had other videos deny anything past 144p on quality when i tried to watch them when they dropped in the 30min mark
Foxy in the first 2 games is my favorite for mixing up the gameplay. He encourages camera usage as even freddy cant come in if the camera is down/looking at him. foxy is stunned by all camera usage and increasingly takes more power. Withered foxy keeps you on your toes with balloon boy which is why the two are associated as friends by the fans and what really makes balloom boy dangerous.
My friends have a wild red fox in the woods behind their backyards. They named him “Captain foxy”, because the little guy always tries to rush inside to get out of the heat of the summer. We give him a pet dish of water to help him cool off. 🦊

I think the fans helped Foxy be the fox he is today
He's a pretty big figure in the FNaF meme community too. As soon as the meme community found out the FNaF movie might only be on Netflix, images of Foxy going "A-pirating we go!" showed up in response.
Not true, it will be a theatrical release instead, but it was fun while it lasted.
Wait, the FNaF movie will only be on Netflix????!??!?
Is this true? I haven’t heard anything saying it would only be on Netflix
Yeah guys, only on Netflix from what we know (wasn't sure which comment to respond to so I just pinged noone, hopefully that's fine).

One of my friends and I had an ingenious idea for how to use Glamrock Foxy in a DLC or a Sequel for SB.
Basically in a scrapyard or potentially under the plex, Gregory or a new kid find GR Foxy and he begins to chase them while saying cliche stuff like “You cant outrun a fox”
The twist being here that if he catches you, He just pokes you and says “Tag, you’re it” and runs off, revealing he’s not infected by Glitchtrap (cause he was scrapped) and can set him up as an Ally throughout the game.
I would absolutely love that. 🥺
I hope steelwool finds this. We need this to happen.
Yes
That’s a fantastic idea!
HES THE TAMATOA OF FNAF
Sometimes I dip into theories, but considering that one is so messy- I.E. the retcon with 83/82- I decided not to.
@@notrealnamenotatall2476 That's fair, it's just something that is usually brought up when Classic Foxy is discussed
My favorite description of why I love Foxy comes from my friend "modern stuff comes and goes, but pirates are forever!"
i like to think Foxy slowly stopped appearing because of a curse that all pirates believe in, foxy's curse was just always breaking down. his design mean that he needed constant maitence and since fazbear wnt. has a habit of neglecting anything not serious, and even then neglecting everything that IS serious, a foxy the pirate with slim design just want possible anymore. any foxy they built was just cursed to fail, another reason Roxanne replaced him, still vaugly the same shape but a new character, and the foxy era woultnd be over in a flash
Whats the second time with monty?

@@dr.archaeopteryx5512 oh ok. Idk how I forgot that💀
I believe that Glamrock Bonnie and even Pirate Foxy or Glamrock Foxy existed in the pizza plex at that point before Vanessa arrived.
Ah, thanks!
Baby hates Foxes
Imagine him wandering the place and scrounging for parts or power to set up his own makeshift room.
@@syweb2 that'd be really cool, honestly.

Foxy does not change because they knew not to tamper with perfection.
You combing through the history of all the characters has been a huge treat!

foxy was always my favourite too...may he rest in pieces
As nice as Roxy is, it's a shame that Foxy didn't get into Security Breach. Imagine Foxy walking around, singing his song. You never knew you wanted it until this moment.
Foxy always struck me as the villain of Freddy’s Band mates. Sort of characters like Hamburglar from McDonalds. Just a Pirate looking to mess with Freddy and Friends but by the end of their little story have a truce over Pizza, before he goes back to being the bad guy.
foxy’s the type of guy where you can just party with and also talk about your boy problems and he’ll probs be like “imagine”
It seems like Fazbear Entertainment was gonna add Foxy but then all the Gregory stuff happened.
Bonnie will always be my favourite (I miss him so much), but I like Foxy a lot too
There is the flaming foxy that chases you in the corn maze in the curse of dreadbear dlc. His hook got replaced by a sickle and is constantly on fire
I think he would get along with the Daycare Attendant if he were to be in SB. My headcanon is that they were friends co-managing both the Theater and Daycare (Theater kids unite) that’s why he’s so closely associated with them in his cameos :D

I just had flashbacks to the swiggity swoogjty era of foxy
Foxy was always a favourite of mine just because of his mechanics but the way his character never really changed how he was portrayed made it easier to love him throughout the series no matter if someone replaced him or not. Thanks for covering him!

"He was always my favorite." -The Phone
Foxy's my favorite character.
I love how his FNAF 1 jumpscare was like "arr matey can I trouble ye for a cup of sugar?"
I do feel like Foxy was supposed to be responsible for the bite of 87, but once again Scott had to make everything more complicated than it needed to be.
I think they realized that Foxy was such a good idea that they just decided that he was already perfect
Omg good theory, I was thinking that too!
Wanna recommend a few fics? 👀
More people seemed to see him as like anti-hero or the laid-back, doing his own thing guy
Hmm... In Security Breach, Foxy is retired... and in that very same game, Bonnie was reported missing...
I am glad there’s still some fnaf fans who still appreciate the swiggity swooty pirate fox boi
He's even the most popular character in-universe! That's how awesome and iconic he is.
I feel like the reason why foxy is still the same after so long is because he was made with a theme while his bandmates didn’t outside their role in the band.
the themes for the main ones would be guitar/bass, tophat and pizza
Awesome video.
Small side note, there are actually three more skins/characters who have the different forms, which being Toy Chica, High score Toy Chica and VR Toy Freddy
I'm a big fan of the trend in FNAF where they keep switching the genders of canines specifically, first Foxy, a guy became Mangle (who is dubiously nonbinary, depending on your interpretation) and then the wolf from the twisted ones (portrayed as male) became Roxanne Wolf
I just think it's neat

Before Mr.Hippo got his Glamorous RockHead up rage, so did the Marry-your-net.
I would argue he still had the "different" attacks in 2 and 3. Especially 2 since he has the animated jump :D
It’s kinda crazy how popular Foxy has always been. To think they almost ended up being a Wolf or Beaver.

An intelligent animatronic that hates flashing lights. That’s how it is and that’s how it always will be
Foxy is simply perfect the way he is. Roxy was a greatly appreciated reinvention, but Foxy is simply him. Pirates are cool
Speaking of characters that end in oxy, a Roxy analysis would be awesome. I love these character analysises
Ik someone else probably said this but Rockstar foxy only has one desth line I believe, thag being "You win some, you lose some". The clip played was his death line after he killed you.
foxy's been one of my favorite animatronics since fnaf 1. i love foxes, i love pirates, i love the fox pirate
You should talk about the mistreating of bonnie of how he was heavily shafted and continually pushed aside from a main character to a forgotten one which really sucks bc he was my favourite for years
Probably because he scares scott
It probably isn't going to ever come up again, but I think Withered Foxy's voice in FNAF World works really well, not as a general Foxy voice, but for Withered Foxy specifically! It has a similar broken warbling sound like Withered Chica's and Withered Bonnie's voices, but less severe, which makes sense, considering he's the second least torn apart, after Withered Freddy. I honestly believe that's how he'd probably sound if he was in Ultimate Custom Night!

And I hope so much, that he won't be touched for a little bit, so when he makes an appearance again, it can once again, be charming and a at least somewhat terrifying.
You joke about it but a Foxy/Baby mangle would be incredible
My theory about SB Foxy is that he’s a holdover from a previous version of the Fun Complex, and was popular enough that his sections survived rebranding.
0:30 It took me years- YEARS- to realize that Foxy is not holding a hand up to the camera. That's his chest?! 😂 I just thought to myself "wait, isn't that the wrong hand?" looked closer, and blew my whole mind.
That aside, GREAT video! ❤ Foxy has always been a favorite of mine and I am so happy to see him unchanged and living his best life.
The voice he ended up with is the same as the piemations 5am at Freddy’s voice. Hilarious-
Is it safe to call Foxy a semi-introvert?
I think he was my first fangirl crush, in probably 8th grade lmao
A character so much of a breakout star he was made a breakout star in universe
I 100% agree with you, the second I saw the Captain Foxy plush, I immediately thought: "I need that"
You forgot about foxy fighters showing foxy having a sonic the hedgehog type voice
Gah, I did. >.
Besides, even if I don't really know if we can consider Lolbit as a "Foxy", maybe more like a variant of Mangle or just a character apart, I think he deserved at least to be mantioned in the video (as a FNAF World fan)
Now I would say that Chica is my favorite (of the FNAF 1 gang) and that's why I would love to see a video about her.
In Ultimate Custom Night, Foxy as a pirate, is literally smuggling himself into your office.
Ironic that the broken, out-of-order attraction has lasted so long in the hearts of the fans.
