Chica in Security Breach is like, the most normal and fine. While still affected by the virus, she's still just a gal who likes to eat. There's no extreme personality glitches, just a difficulty controlling herself. This is, while not ideal, still a far more well adjusted flaw than Monty's ridiculous anger issues and Roxanne's tragic self image issues.
Honestly, despite Chica being a background character compared to the rest of the cast and being overlooked frequently, I do quite like the Chicas. From Withered who is a mix of slightly goofy and slightly creepy to Glamrock Chica who is “garbage, consume” they’re all relatively fun (except Phantom, but that’s just a Phantom thing and not a Chica thing)
Even though I'm not a big fan of SB I really like how Steelwool chose to animate her "attack mode" similarly to how Chica was depicted in fnaf 1, with her wonky eyes and her head almost always resting on one of her shoulders. It's a nice little reference to the original games.
Honestly interestingly, it DOES kind of lean towards the idea of "if it werent for the circumstances, she'd also be an ally" too... Moving by far the most "robotic" of them all.
Chica is the creepiest FNAF1 animatronic to me because of how she fits into the uncanny valley visually AND mechanically. I always figured that the animatronics had the souls of the missing children in them after seeing the poster, and Chica acts the most like a child when she's just bashing around pots and pans in the kitchen. She seems like she's aware of the fact that she's an animatronic but that she is too childlike to prevent herself from trying to pig out on food while trying to kill you and it's always felt so sad to me. The way she stares intot he camera with her mouth open is also terrifying to me.
Something I had been waiting for you to mention was how Glamrock Chica was seemingly the first to notice something was wrong with Freddy and just before the opening scene cuts out you can see her stand in front of Freddy, and her body language makes it seem like she's worried for him. I think it supports the idea that she's meant to be the super kind and caring one of the band!
I never knew about the valley girl interpretation that they were thinking of doing! If they had dialed the accent down just a hair, and left her personality the same as it was in the final version, that would have been a cool version. I do still really like the version that released, though. Glamrock Chica is definitely one of my all time favorite characters. Glamrock, Classic, and Withered.
Now I’m left wondering how she’ll be portrayed in the movie. I really hope they’ll give her a moment to shine, even a very brief one. Unlike Bonnie in fnaf 1 she never really had anything special going on like staring dead into a camera from up close, and I wish this fact won’t make the writers of the movie just brush her aside. Nah, you're not a wuss. A bird with teeth is always scary. It's why people are terrified of demon chickens AKA geese. They have teeth-like spikes lining their beaks. (Also, anyone who has raised chickens know that they're vicious little demons in their own right 😂)
Me too! That is like, so fitting for Chica! Though it would’ve gotten annoying at some point but it’s funny. Maybe there’s still a chance they’ll make her a valley girl in the next game. Not Security Breach, I mean a different game. Maybe a joke game, like Fury’s rage.
My favorite part about Chica is her beak. It's always changing. Hollow and soulless in 1, it being missing or bigger in 2, the inward curve in 4. glamrock is basically an evolution of funtime, which introduced the lipstick and more appealing looking teeth.

I remember seeing a guy on DeviantArt draw every one of the (important) Chicas up to Glamrock Chica, and they drew Nightmare Chica like a t-rex. Now THAT'S a way to interpret a character.
I always liked the name Carl for the cupcake (similar to how people liked to call the toy one either Cherry or Charlie, before Charlie became the Puppet's soul name), but this is just a fan made one; it always has been called "Mr. Cupcake" in merchandising and wikis.

I honestly think all of Glamrock Chica's maliciousness is strictly from the virus attack. What we can gleam off of her is that she is caring (seen running to Freddy's side when he collapses on stage), and takes her job seriously, rocking out like mad in her own room during her downtime. However her habits also tackle a metaphor many rockstars deal with. Chica loves food, especially junk food like pizza. This leads to her filling her chassis up with junk which often is even spilling out of her mouth like she's vomiting. A rather disturbing habit some stars do in order to indulge in their desires of eating food they like, while also keeping their shapely figure, is to vomit up their food after eating it. Chica ends up being a mirror for that disturbing side.
Yellow feathers symbolise that the chicken is a child and white feathers symbolise that the chicken is an adult. Security Breach in a way allowed Chica to age.
Ever since FNaF 2, Chica's been my favorite character next to Springtrap. She usually gets the creepiest or coolest designs, and I love how UCN characterizes her as basically a patient freight train hellbent on revenge
fun fact - one of the unused items in Security Breach is a baking bag with the description “full of everything you need to make a pizza!” might imply you were originally supposed to bake Chica a pizza *by hand* after she destroyed the staff bot from earlier, and put that in the compactor along with the Monty Mix to lure her…would’ve felt like the raptor kitchen scene in Jurassic Park lol

Chica and all her variants have always been my favorite out of the original four. I can't even put it fully into words why, I just love her so much, and withered Chica in particular is one of my favorite animatronics in the series. Her design is fantastic, and the lore her UCN voice lines are so intriguing to me Also personally I fucking love the Valley Girl accent for Glamrock Chica. I just like that accent on characters in general though so that's a heavy bias lol
Honestly, general preference here HAS been towards the Bonnies and Chicas here, yeah. Though the Glamrock Chica is definitely THE best of her appearances... For Bonnie, it'd have to be FNAF 1, unless we get an un-damaged Withered variant sometime to compare against...

Y'know, It would have been cool if Chica was the character to help Gregory around in Security Breach. While personally I don't like the idea of any of the animatronic characters helping Gregory(rather I'd just have him on his own, or with some other person), I do think Chica would have been a better choice than Freddy, reasons being unlike Freddy who had the franchise named after him, Foxy who was a fan favorite from the start, Bonnie who had a game focused on a Bonnie variant(Springtrap), Chica never had anything major to her name. Also horror/thriller franchise's usually aren't named after a protagonist/supporting character, so Freddy should have been a villain in Security Breach. If any of the animatronics should have been Protags, Chica would have been a cool one. PS at 22:10 Charlie got that 5 o'clock shadow tho ngl
Makes more sense, she's probably the weakest of the four so, despite being a robot is at a disadvantage against the main cast, her smaller frame means no mecha piloting so tension can exists and, well her personality to me is more interesting, imagine discovering the layers beneath that bubbly personality as game progresses, showing her repressed and less family friendly side and bonding with Greg as they grow closer (only for Chica to get disassembled in most endings, nyeheheheheh).
Honestly, i could see both Freddy AND Chica being the "friendlier" of the two. *Especially* compared to Monty and Roxy... Among the Core Four/FNAF 1 crew or such? Yeah that'd be a total mystery. Maybe Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy? Or simply just Bonnie and Chica...
should be noted that the valley girl voice for glamrock chica wasn't her original voice, some of the steel wool devs confirmed in a gamejolt interview that the dialogue was for a cut joke mode called "80s mode" which only changed the voice and nothing else lol
Of all the SB animatronics I'd want to hang out with pre-corrupted by Vanny, I think it'd be Glamrock Chica, she just sounds like a genuinely nice person to hang out with, if not a bit indulgent.
I’d like to hang out with all of them, Monty and Roxanne are great too, I mean they are being controlled by Vanny too even tho it doesn’t seem like it, I bet deep down they’re softies. And as wholesome as Glamrock Freddy is, if he saw Roxy crying and doubting herself and Monty all angry and upset, he’d comfort them and motivate them, Freddy is a good friend.
My favorite detail about FnaF in space 2 is that chica is overtly a Samus Aran stand in, which if you're a Metroid fan youll get how funny a bird being Samus is.

One thing not mentioned about Glamrock Chica is that if you get close to her while in Freddy, you can hear faint sounds of crying, implying that she's aware under the corruption and distressed by the actions she's being forced to take against Gregory.
i love chica!! she's one of my favorite reoccurring characters in all of fnaf! i think she has some of the most fun personality traits and designs, as well as a lot of cute character interactions. i love how she and the puppet are together in ucn, possibly implying that they're friends (which is adorable and a little heartbreaking when you remember susie and charlie are possessing them 🥺), and her story in fazbear frights is so wholesome and bittersweet. while i'm not always happy with the direction a specific game may choose to go with her (though that's usually only when she's used as thirst/fetish bait), i still love chica and it makes me really happy that she's stuck around so long 💛🐥
Like I always deeply connected with Glamrock Chica. Tbf it could be all projection but I thought if Roxy is the Diva, Monty is the jerk of the band, Freddy is the one who's doing it to have fun with his friends... Chica is definitely the "silent sufferer" of the rockstar world. (binge eating being a replacement for...something else) Like it weirdly fit.
Admittedly I have an unnatural amount of love towards glamrock chica and its entirely because of the bugs. I love that stupid teleporting chicken so so so much that I wish with all my heart that it was just canon that she could teleport. Also in the opening cutscene I noticed that all of the other band mates are doing their show routine, meanwhile chica just has this look of absolute grim determination on her face. Like she knows whats going down that. That the others are going to largely useless with monty just spending the majority of the time in his golf course, roxy crying in her room and falling through walls/floors, vannessa not during her job and just dancing around tposing in a bunny suit. Its fun to characterize her like she’s that one member on the group project that has to do all of the work while the others just goof off. And then there is Turbo chica, the name DJ sterf gave to chica when she decides that enough is enough and just rapidly teleports around the gremlin including when you enter cutscenes causing gameovers and when your inside of freddy. Unlike giga monty who is just one differently coded monty any G chica has the ability to manifest her turbo state and it can lead to some of the most terrifying moments in the game. Your inside of freddy, power slowly draining, you try to move towards the recharge station but chica is just teleporting in your way like she’s boxing you in. Like she has figured out a way to turn the rules of the game against you. Despite not being as run ending as giga monty or tva moonman, I see turbo chica as the most dangerous thing in the pizzaplex solely because any chica can enter that state and the scariest part…. we have absolutely no idea what causes it to happen. Sometimes she will flicker away and delay the teleport for upwards for ten minutes, and then just randomly go turbo on you when you least expect it. I just love that terrifying teleporting chicken and always am rooting for her to stop that gremlin before he escapes and breaks the rest of reality with his presence ^^

I'll have you know Nightmare Chica has a unique feature (aside from Jack-O-Chica who also shares it, of course) which is a secondary endoskeleton jaw. That's very important, probably. Given the Nightmare take on her is seemingly the same idea as the Withered variant had, but cranked up even higher, it does kind of make sense - no other character had such pronounced rows of teeth as Withered Chica. Also, the Nightmare version's eyes are different colors - one a harshly glowing red, and the other a dull, unlit blue. Her mechanics do tend to be slightly different early on, though. Sure, not in FNaF 2, but... no one gets different mechanics in FNaF 2. There's 13 'characters' and like six total types of interactions in that game. Whatever the case in that, Chica does differ to Bonnie in FNaF 1 aside from just coming down a different hall - she only moves to adjacent rooms, like Freddy does but _unlike_ Bonnie, who simply randomly picks one of the rooms on that side to move to without it having to be one near where he currently is. Chica also has her, y'know, occasional visits to the kitchen, which I have heard described in ways such as 'as though she had tried to shuffle two stacks of pizza trays together like they were playing cards', among other enjoyable descriptions for the immense clatter she makes in there. Technically, she's quite a bit more complex than Bonnie in terms of AI due to that. Chica tends to be depicted as the first to act out in a lot of content. This is both fan and official content, and it makes sense, since she shows up in Night 1 of most of the original set and from the start has been rather loud and clumsy in that kitchen audio feed. In Help Wanted, Bonnie's the only one to not really act out at all - Freddy responds with the choice of violence when the music box gets dropped, and Foxy is, well.. he's being what you'd expect from the twitchy and unstable one of the bunch. Chica, conversely, lunges at you when you open her beak to check for any food that didn't go all the way down, and her eyes track you after she does so - as does her Cupcake, but rather than smoothly doing so the Cupcake will simply turn to face you whenever you're not looking, as well as, y'know, trying to get away. I guess her raising her hand when you reattach her arm also sort of counts as acting out, but it's hard to say. She even eats if you feed her, which is a fun little detail. All this is to say, she's one of the most active animatronics, even if not the most aggressive or dangerous. Definitely restless, but not angry - at least, not all the time. Oh, please, the graphic novel of TFC gets _nothing_ right. Except William spending all his time in a wheelchair, that's pretty accurate. Anyways, the novel itself describes that blob-like entity as looking.. honestly, sort of like Ennard, if anything - it's just melted metal, with no recognizable hints of casings (though I'm sure they are still in there), in a very vaguely humanoid shape to the point that unless you're above it looking down at the table it's on, it's not obvious that it's humanoid at all. It's just also kept on a heated slab that's warm enough for the metal to still be able to very slightly move - otherwise, all five kids are stuck in a literal pile of melted slag. Honestly one of the worse things William has done throughout the series.

Well, you certainly weren't... *_chicken_* when it came to talking about Chica. (I'm sorry!) One thing about the classic Chica in FNaF 1 that I always found funny is that when standing outside the office window, and during her jumpscare, she's got derpy eyes. That, in combination with her mouth always gaping open and her being a giant chicken wearing a bib, makes her the "comic relief" for lack of a better term if you ask me. Withered chica is by far my favourite character from the series: one of the few designs that generally freaks me out and a pretty sweet voice. Ngl All the chica’s are just pretty neat.

I have a grasp on the story but I don't really know much about the characters so it's cool to have videos that explain it. I really liked Chica in security breach and it's nice to learn more about her character. It's a shame she's overlooked in favor of other characters

There was also a torn up version of Chica that was shown in the Freddy Files book. In all honesty, I feel like Chica might be Scott's favorite, but I can't say for sure. I mean, Chica was used in some other game as a boss fight, which Scott had a hand in working on, plus Chica gets quite a bit of special treatment.
I think one thing people always forget when discussing these characters is that they're, like, robots. They're animatronics. Haunted or not, they're literally robots, their personalities are programmed. So I'm not sure how valid it is to say she has an 'unhealthy fixation on food' as if it's an actual character flaw she has - she's programmed that way to help sell pizza. Really don't get how the animatronics (specifically the animatroncis) are meant to even have 'character', given all this unrelated, but Chica was the most disturbing animatronic in FNAF1 and even FNAF2 and her turning into a joke character saddens me
True, but her literally putting herself and others in danger to reach food is definitely not what they were intending when they programmed her. I'd classify that as unhealthy. And things like Freddy being aware and questioning if he's unique and being capable of mourning are why people who deem them as having character. Especially since with Fazbear Entertainment's lazy and confusing practices, personalities could easily be 'happy accidents' over intentional design. Since they can't or won't fix any possible bugs beyond throwing the whole thing out.
I think the reason that withered chica has a voice but classic chica doesnt is because they’re both technically the same character and contain the same missing kid’s soul (Susie) and it would be confusing for 2 different characters to share the same voice, also since withered chica comes first in the timeline, she got the voice instead

I wanted to give some clarification on something you missed: Nightmare cupcake isn't an alternate jumpscare to nightmare Chica. If you don't clear out all of the freddles before going back to facing the front of the bedroom (let's say there's three on the bed and you only cleared two), the cupcake will jumpscare you. So that's why you have to clear out *all* of the Freddles on the bed before going back.
If Chica had a Glamrock cupcake in Security Breach, I think it should be the most annoying part of the game. Basically, the cupcake jumps around looking for Gregory. If the cupcake sees you or if it jumps on you, then it will ring an alarm and call for Chica and cue the run for our lives or hide
Nightmare Carl’s jumpscare is actually just nightmare china’s bedroom jumpscare, which occurs if you leave nightmare chica sitting at your door for too long

I use capcut despite how simple it is. makes video editing really easy.

I never really realized how messed up of a character poor Chica is. Her heavily disordered relationship with eating and the sick encouragement of pushing garbage food by the company... All this really hits home about how little the company cares about the customers' health if they can squeeze out profits and how screwed up capitalism is.

I’d argue that her difficulty of control is not well adjusted at all, it seems like it’s bordering on an eating disorder (food addiction)

Honestly, despite Chica being a background character compared to the rest of the cast and being overlooked frequently, I do quite like the Chicas. From Withered who is a mix of slightly goofy and slightly creepy to Glamrock Chica who is “garbage, consume” they’re all relatively fun (except Phantom, but that’s just a Phantom thing and not a Chica thing)

Even though I'm not a big fan of SB I really like how Steelwool chose to animate her "attack mode" similarly to how Chica was depicted in fnaf 1, with her wonky eyes and her head almost always resting on one of her shoulders. It's a nice little reference to the original games.
Honestly interestingly, it DOES kind of lean towards the idea of "if it werent for the circumstances, she'd also be an ally" too...

Chica is the creepiest FNAF1 animatronic to me because of how she fits into the uncanny valley visually AND mechanically. I always figured that the animatronics had the souls of the missing children in them after seeing the poster, and Chica acts the most like a child when she's just bashing around pots and pans in the kitchen. She seems like she's aware of the fact that she's an animatronic but that she is too childlike to prevent herself from trying to pig out on food while trying to kill you and it's always felt so sad to me. The way she stares intot he camera with her mouth open is also terrifying to me.

Something I had been waiting for you to mention was how Glamrock Chica was seemingly the first to notice something was wrong with Freddy and just before the opening scene cuts out you can see her stand in front of Freddy, and her body language makes it seem like she's worried for him. I think it supports the idea that she's meant to be the super kind and caring one of the band!
I never knew about the valley girl interpretation that they were thinking of doing! If they had dialed the accent down just a hair, and left her personality the same as it was in the final version, that would have been a cool version. I do still really like the version that released, though. Glamrock Chica is definitely one of my all time favorite characters. Glamrock, Classic, and Withered.
it was originally only going to be in a 90s theme area in the pizza plex but it was ultimately scrapped so the voice line was unused
Now I’m left wondering how she’ll be portrayed in the movie. I really hope they’ll give her a moment to shine, even a very brief one. Unlike Bonnie in fnaf 1 she never really had anything special going on like staring dead into a camera from up close, and I wish this fact won’t make the writers of the movie just brush her aside.

Chica feels like the most overlooked character of the original four throughout the series but I always liked her. I always used to find her the scariest out of the bunch, maybe it's that beak with teeth or that I was and am a wuss.
Nah, you're not a wuss. A bird with teeth is always scary. It's why people are terrified of demon chickens AKA geese. They have teeth-like spikes lining their beaks.

Me too! That is like, so fitting for Chica! Though it would’ve gotten annoying at some point but it’s funny. Maybe there’s still a chance they’ll make her a valley girl in the next game. Not Security Breach, I mean a different game. Maybe a joke game, like Fury’s rage.
My favorite part about Chica is her beak. It's always changing. Hollow and soulless in 1, it being missing or bigger in 2, the inward curve in 4. glamrock is basically an evolution of funtime, which introduced the lipstick and more appealing looking teeth.

I remember seeing a guy on DeviantArt draw every one of the (important) Chicas up to Glamrock Chica, and they drew Nightmare Chica like a t-rex. Now THAT'S a way to interpret a character.
I always liked the name Carl for the cupcake (similar to how people liked to call the toy one either Cherry or Charlie, before Charlie became the Puppet's soul name), but this is just a fan made one; it always has been called "Mr. Cupcake" in merchandising and wikis.

I honestly think all of Glamrock Chica's maliciousness is strictly from the virus attack. What we can gleam off of her is that she is caring (seen running to Freddy's side when he collapses on stage), and takes her job seriously, rocking out like mad in her own room during her downtime. However her habits also tackle a metaphor many rockstars deal with. Chica loves food, especially junk food like pizza. This leads to her filling her chassis up with junk which often is even spilling out of her mouth like she's vomiting. A rather disturbing habit some stars do in order to indulge in their desires of eating food they like, while also keeping their shapely figure, is to vomit up their food after eating it. Chica ends up being a mirror for that disturbing side.
Yellow feathers symbolise that the chicken is a child and white feathers symbolise that the chicken is an adult.
Security Breach in a way allowed Chica to age.
This has unfortunate implications for how Toy Chica is portrayed.

Chica and all her variants have always been my favorite out of the original four. I can't even put it fully into words why, I just love her so much, and withered Chica in particular is one of my favorite animatronics in the series. Her design is fantastic, and the lore her UCN voice lines are so intriguing to me

Y'know, It would have been cool if Chica was the character to help Gregory around in Security Breach. While personally I don't like the idea of any of the animatronic characters helping Gregory(rather I'd just have him on his own, or with some other person), I do think Chica would have been a better choice than Freddy, reasons being unlike Freddy who had the franchise named after him, Foxy who was a fan favorite from the start, Bonnie who had a game focused on a Bonnie variant(Springtrap), Chica never had anything major to her name. Also horror/thriller franchise's usually aren't named after a protagonist/supporting character, so Freddy should have been a villain in Security Breach. If any of the animatronics should have been Protags, Chica would have been a cool one.

Makes more sense, she's probably the weakest of the four so, despite being a robot is at a disadvantage against the main cast, her smaller frame means no mecha piloting so tension can exists and, well her personality to me is more interesting, imagine discovering the layers beneath that bubbly personality as game progresses, showing her repressed and less family friendly side and bonding with Greg as they grow closer (only for Chica to get disassembled in most endings, nyeheheheheh).
Honestly, i could see both Freddy AND Chica being the "friendlier" of the two.

And as wholesome as Glamrock Freddy is, if he saw Roxy crying and doubting herself and Monty all angry and upset, he’d comfort them and motivate them, Freddy is a good friend.

My favorite detail about FnaF in space 2 is that chica is overtly a Samus Aran stand in, which if you're a Metroid fan youll get how funny a bird being Samus is.

One thing not mentioned about Glamrock Chica is that if you get close to her while in Freddy, you can hear faint sounds of crying, implying that she's aware under the corruption and distressed by the actions she's being forced to take against Gregory.

i love chica!! she's one of my favorite reoccurring characters in all of fnaf! i think she has some of the most fun personality traits and designs, as well as a lot of cute character interactions. i love how she and the puppet are together in ucn, possibly implying that they're friends (which is adorable and a little heartbreaking when you remember susie and charlie are possessing them 🥺), and her story in fazbear frights is so wholesome and bittersweet. while i'm not always happy with the direction a specific game may choose to go with her (though that's usually only when she's used as thirst/fetish bait), i still love chica and it makes me really happy that she's stuck around so long 💛🐥
Like I always deeply connected with Glamrock Chica. Tbf it could be all projection but I thought if Roxy is the Diva, Monty is the jerk of the band, Freddy is the one who's doing it to have fun with his friends... Chica is definitely the "silent sufferer" of the rockstar world. (binge eating being a replacement for...something else) Like it weirdly fit.

Admittedly I have an unnatural amount of love towards glamrock chica and its entirely because of the bugs. I love that stupid teleporting chicken so so so much that I wish with all my heart that it was just canon that she could teleport. Also in the opening cutscene I noticed that all of the other band mates are doing their show routine, meanwhile chica just has this look of absolute grim determination on her face. Like she knows whats going down that. That the others are going to largely useless with monty just spending the majority of the time in his golf course, roxy crying in her room and falling through walls/floors, vannessa not during her job and just dancing around tposing in a bunny suit. Its fun to characterize her like she’s that one member on the group project that has to do all of the work while the others just goof off. And then there is Turbo chica, the name DJ sterf gave to chica when she decides that enough is enough and just rapidly teleports around the gremlin including when you enter cutscenes causing gameovers and when your inside of freddy. Unlike giga monty who is just one differently coded monty any G chica has the ability to manifest her turbo state and it can lead to some of the most terrifying moments in the game. Your inside of freddy, power slowly draining, you try to move towards the recharge station but chica is just teleporting in your way like she’s boxing you in. Like she has figured out a way to turn the rules of the game against you. Despite not being as run ending as giga monty or tva moonman, I see turbo chica as the most dangerous thing in the pizzaplex solely because any chica can enter that state and the scariest part…. we have absolutely no idea what causes it to happen. Sometimes she will flicker away and delay the teleport for upwards for ten minutes, and then just randomly go turbo on you when you least expect it. I just love that terrifying teleporting chicken and always am rooting for her to stop that gremlin before he escapes and breaks the rest of reality with his presence ^^

I'll have you know Nightmare Chica has a unique feature (aside from Jack-O-Chica who also shares it, of course) which is a secondary endoskeleton jaw. That's very important, probably. Given the Nightmare take on her is seemingly the same idea as the Withered variant had, but cranked up even higher, it does kind of make sense - no other character had such pronounced rows of teeth as Withered Chica. Also, the Nightmare version's eyes are different colors - one a harshly glowing red, and the other a dull, unlit blue.
Her mechanics do tend to be slightly different early on, though. Sure, not in FNaF 2, but... no one gets different mechanics in FNaF 2. There's 13 'characters' and like six total types of interactions in that game. Whatever the case in that, Chica does differ to Bonnie in FNaF 1 aside from just coming down a different hall - she only moves to adjacent rooms, like Freddy does but _unlike_ Bonnie, who simply randomly picks one of the rooms on that side to move to without it having to be one near where he currently is. Chica also has her, y'know, occasional visits to the kitchen, which I have heard described in ways such as 'as though she had tried to shuffle two stacks of pizza trays together like they were playing cards', among other enjoyable descriptions for the immense clatter she makes in there. Technically, she's quite a bit more complex than Bonnie in terms of AI due to that.
Chica tends to be depicted as the first to act out in a lot of content. This is both fan and official content, and it makes sense, since she shows up in Night 1 of most of the original set and from the start has been rather loud and clumsy in that kitchen audio feed. In Help Wanted, Bonnie's the only one to not really act out at all - Freddy responds with the choice of violence when the music box gets dropped, and Foxy is, well.. he's being what you'd expect from the twitchy and unstable one of the bunch. Chica, conversely, lunges at you when you open her beak to check for any food that didn't go all the way down, and her eyes track you after she does so - as does her Cupcake, but rather than smoothly doing so the Cupcake will simply turn to face you whenever you're not looking, as well as, y'know, trying to get away. I guess her raising her hand when you reattach her arm also sort of counts as acting out, but it's hard to say. She even eats if you feed her, which is a fun little detail. All this is to say, she's one of the most active animatronics, even if not the most aggressive or dangerous. Definitely restless, but not angry - at least, not all the time.
Oh, please, the graphic novel of TFC gets _nothing_ right. Except William spending all his time in a wheelchair, that's pretty accurate. Anyways, the novel itself describes that blob-like entity as looking.. honestly, sort of like Ennard, if anything - it's just melted metal, with no recognizable hints of casings (though I'm sure they are still in there), in a very vaguely humanoid shape to the point that unless you're above it looking down at the table it's on, it's not obvious that it's humanoid at all. It's just also kept on a heated slab that's warm enough for the metal to still be able to very slightly move - otherwise, all five kids are stuck in a literal pile of melted slag. Honestly one of the worse things William has done throughout the series.

One thing about the classic Chica in FNaF 1 that I always found funny is that when standing outside the office window, and during her jumpscare, she's got derpy eyes. That, in combination with her mouth always gaping open and her being a giant chicken wearing a bib, makes her the "comic relief" for lack of a better term if you ask me.

The most significance N. Chica has is that one Markiplier clip where he goes “Night 1 is never really that bad in any of the games…” shortly before dying at 5AM to her and ending his first run of FNAF4.
Withered chica is by far my favourite character from the series: one of the few designs that generally freaks me out and a pretty sweet voice. Ngl All the chica’s are just pretty neat.
Funny enough, she is the one that notices Freddy is glitching out in game and is the first to check on him when he collapses. Then again, the Security Breach animatronics all seem to have complicated personalities. Some of her worse traits in the game maybe from the corruption

[9:45] Well, to be fair, the only animatronic from fnaf 1 that has a voice in UCN is Foxy so I guess it isn't that unusual.
There was also a torn up version of Chica that was shown in the Freddy Files book. In all honesty, I feel like Chica might be Scott's favorite, but I can't say for sure. I mean, Chica was used in some other game as a boss fight, which Scott had a hand in working on, plus Chica gets quite a bit of special treatment.
I think one thing people always forget when discussing these characters is that they're, like, robots. They're animatronics. Haunted or not, they're literally robots, their personalities are programmed. So I'm not sure how valid it is to say she has an 'unhealthy fixation on food' as if it's an actual character flaw she has - she's programmed that way to help sell pizza. Really don't get how the animatronics (specifically the animatroncis) are meant to even have 'character', given all this

True, but her literally putting herself and others in danger to reach food is definitely not what they were intending when they programmed her. I'd classify that as unhealthy.
And things like Freddy being aware and questioning if he's unique and being capable of mourning are why people who deem them as having character. Especially since with Fazbear Entertainment's lazy and confusing practices, personalities could easily be 'happy accidents' over intentional design. Since they can't or won't fix any possible bugs beyond throwing the whole thing out.
I think the reason that withered chica has a voice but classic chica doesnt is because they’re both technically the same character and contain the same missing kid’s soul (Susie) and it would be confusing for 2 different characters to share the same voice, also since withered chica comes first in the timeline, she got the voice instead

If you don't clear out all of the freddles before going back to facing the front of the bedroom (let's say there's three on the bed and you only cleared two), the cupcake will jumpscare you. So that's why you have to clear out *all* of the Freddles on the bed before going back.

Glamrock Chica is my favorite Chica of all. I love her cute leotard fitness outfit.
If Chica had a Glamrock cupcake in Security Breach, I think it should be the most annoying part of the game. Basically, the cupcake jumps around looking for Gregory. If the cupcake sees you or if it jumps on you, then it will ring an alarm and call for Chica and cue the run for our lives or hide
Nightmare Carl’s jumpscare is actually just nightmare china’s bedroom jumpscare, which occurs if you leave nightmare chica sitting at your door for too long
Damn this is amazing! Despite me having a pretty bad voice I've been considering doing my own little mini-series like this. Speaking of I do like how you included EVERY version! Alot of people forget about Coming home and/or FNaF world. Overall this is awesome. You should do more of this stuff. also what editing software do you use? I use capcut despite how simple it is. makes video editing really easy.
Thank you! 8D And you definitely should! I'm pretty lukewarm about my voice, but it gets the job done. XD I use Movie Maker. Out of date, I know, but I haven't found a replacement I feel comfortable with yet. Might check out Capcut though.

Glamrock Chica’s self destructive food obsession is kinda a nod to the how not to make FNAF not scary video where Chica yells pizza.
I never really realized how messed up of a character poor Chica is. Her heavily disordered relationship with eating and the sick encouragement of pushing garbage food by the company... All this really hits home about how little the company cares about the customers' health if they can squeeze out profits and how screwed up capitalism is.

I remember when I first found out about FNAF, I was still kinda young so I basically just liked Chica cuz she was the only girl in the original cast 😭 but overtime she's become my main girl, I will defend this fictional robot till I die lol
