TL;DR; You can't bend certain materials in an 90 Degree angle, because that materials will get fissues because of inner stress. So you will have to bend it in a radius. This radius depends on thickness and material type. As usual you don't need to experiement to find that special radius. Go and buy a book about metal work :)
You are right my friend...for example you can not bend lead (pb) in press break. You need mannual bender . But most of thw sheet metal product would be Ms,Ss or Ali. That can be bent using this method.
@@akshaytison271 It is bit offset. depending on material thickness and material type. Your K factor should never be more than 0.5. which means your neutral axis will always be offset. Most likely towards inside edge of folding.
somebody please tell me how for a 90 degree fittings or u shaped fitting how the bend deduction or how to know which length of flat bar is to be taken . in case of mild steel of thickness 4mm, 5mm & 6mm . is there any software or something ? (would appreciate if someone answer :) )😀

Amazing sir
Thank you mate 👍
is it a neutral axis offset ...?(the one u told us to comment)
It's a ratio to nutral axis to thickenss
@@Metalcut1412 In the sense is that neutral axis appears at exact half of thickness or it is offset from centre ??

Hi yes. Everything can be calculated in all the cad softwares I have used Auto cad , solid works and solidedge they all have that option.
Bro your channel's name is "Engineering and ManaGERment" or "Engineering and Management" ?.. correction
Ohh thanks
You are wasting paper..use board and marker if you need it big..
Sure
You are wasting keystrokes being a Karen😂
For explaining he is doing like that he is not wasting he is sharing his knowledge
