My belief in Jesus’s death on the cross for my sin has caused me to want to stop. I can’t keep adding to the cup that was poured out. I can’t keep hurting the one who loves me. I don’t want to, and it grieves me and I ache to get rid of sin.
The spirit in me has caused me to Overcome pornography, foul language/humor, suicide/hopelessness, alcoholism/weed.
Granted these are there somewhere, but i am overcome by the Spirit against these whether in grief or strength or joy or truth.
Any battle is just a matter of time before Jesus asks you to give it to him in your utter brokenness
It doesn’t always feel great when Jesus removes the chaff from your wheat. But he will separate you from your sin.

Corey, even though we completely disagree about many things, I want to thank you for interacting with my video. You put a lot of thought into this, and I have considered your points. I think we both agree that Jesus Christ is God's son, our redeemer and savior. We are saved by his grace (yes, Catholics believe that), and he is the only way to salvation. May God bless you with grace and peace. I do give you a little grief about the Church Fathers though. 😉

there's many issues but the just of it is Catholics have endurance as a part of salvation and because of that they deny we are saved and Justified and righteous right now! they claim this is after we endure, and then this is where translations come in because the modern catholic bibles say things like ''are being saved'' instead of are saved
      1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
notice the ye are saved !
Romans 5::1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
we have peace! not will have peace once we endure!!
Romans 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
having now been Justified not will be if we endure!
      Ephesians 1:13-14
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
we are sealed untll we sin to much? unless we endure? we hear the gospel of the grace of God we believe it we receive and are sealed with the holy spirit until redemption day .... no endurance , no obedience, no water, no sacraments,
just trust the death burial and resurrection apart from ourselves and we are sealed until redemption day !!!!

Why don't you respond to Corey's points with Scripture? Or request to debate the topic with him? I don't mean to be offensive, but this is not one of the more difficult concepts in the Bible to understand. What did Jesus say His sheep will do? Didn't He say He will lose none of us? Does Jesus say "I NEVER knew you" or does He say "I used to know you, but...". Have the biblical concepts of predestination and election entirely escaped you or are you ignoring them on purpose? If you are indeed saved, then you can't lose your salvation but you will lose heavenly rewards if you continue to follow false teachers and mislead others as a teacher yourself. If your desire is to continue to do videos on biblical topics then my advice would be to: pay closer attention to what God's Word says, study the relevant ancient languages, employ quality hermeneutics, and stop following heretical popes and the opinions of men. Otherwise, my recommendation would be that you cease teaching immediately. "Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly" (James 3:1). God Bless!

I heard Isaiah Saldivar say the same thing about eternal security being a dangerous belief. He claims it breeds "lazy, lukewarm Christians." I disagree with this. If one is saved, that person will not want to sin or at least feel terrible about it. If they do sin, they have an advocate in Jesus Christ. God can and will finish the work He started.

There is a big difference between a person having a weak moment and commit a sin, ask God for forgiveness and repent then apostasy, someone with a reprobate mind. Apostasy is more critical and dangerous because, they have chosen to live a life of sin, and has turned completely away from God. 1 Samuel 15:23 says - For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king.

2 Peter 2:20-22 should be supplied with Jude 1:19, where Jude says of these false teachers, "These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit." They never had the Holy Spirit dwelling in them and were therefore never saved, because all believers have the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9) and the Holy Spirit is with believers forever (John 14:16, Ephesians 1:13, Ephesians 4:30, 2 Corinthians 5:5).

Hey Bro Corey, I was arguing this same verse in John 3:38. The person’s point was that believe in the passage which the Greek is ‘pisteuó’ is the same thing as obey which the Greek is ‘apeithéō’, I argued that while the words correlate due to the fact that believing results in obeying, it doesn't mean that the one who obeyed automatically believes because you can obey without believing so it is not always the case but the one who is 'believing' will be 'obeying'. Would you agree?

A person will not have their salvation sealed with God without a verbal confession (even though they believe in their heart). A new convert must confess with their mouth. Romans 10:9-10 confirms this. It says: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

    Salvation according to Scripture = (1) Justification > (2) Santification > (3) Glorification.

  • @BrandonGray
    @BrandonGray 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

Surety in salvation can only be understood on what it means to be born of God in light of the Father's Son Jesus Christ. Was Jesus born of God? Are we born of God through the Son? And if Jesus is born of God and endures, what does that mean for us who believe?
Next, what is our ontological stat as a believer? What does it mean to be a new creature? What part of us is new?
Within the ontological thought, what does it mean to be alive or dead? What does it mean to go from death to life and can you even go back to death after being made alive? How is it possible. This begs the question, how many sins does it take to go back to death and life again? What amount?
If without Christ death lands such a powerful blow that you can't obtain salvation without Christ, how is that Christ life cannot land a long lasting blow to death? Is Adam's death greater than Christ's life? Or is the creature greater than the Creator?
Moreover, the belief that you can lose your salvation weakens the Cross. It says Christ did not crucify the flesh. It also weakens the Holy Spirit. It says the Spirit does not have the power to sanctify the flesh. It also says the Father is unable to save because the Son and the Spirit are insufficient. If the Father and Son and Spirit are one and they can't save us, then we are still in our sins. We must look to another God who is greater than our God.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me,is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” The Jews picked up stones again to stone him.”

Like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11-13)."
He laid down the conditions of salvation thus: "He that believeth and is baptized," said the Son of the Living God, "shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be condemned" (Luke 16:16). Here, then, Our Blessed Lord laid down the two conditions of salvation: Faith and Baptism. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be condemned - or is damned
    ● 1 COR 10:12..Let he who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall .. ● MATT 21:31-..Take heed lest the harlots and publicans go into the kingdom ahead of you.
    ● MATT 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, BUT ONLY THE NE WHO DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER who is in heaven.
    ● 1 COR 9:27 (Paul Speaking) But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: LEST THAT BY ANY MEANS WHEN I HAVE PREACHED TO OTHERS, I MYSELF MIGHT BE CAST AWAY.
    ● 1 COR 4:3-5 ● 3 I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I DO NOT EVEN JUDGE MYSELF. (Paul does not judge himself as "Saved" the way protestants do)
    ● 4 My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. IT IS THE LORD WHO JUDGES ME.
    ● 5 THEREFORE JUDGE NOTHING BEFORE THE APPOINTED TIME; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God.
    ● HEB 10:26: If we continue to sin deliberatly, after having recieved knowledge of the truth, there is no longer a sacrifice for our sins.
    ● 2 Peter 2:20-22:
    ● 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, THE LATTER STATE IS WORSE FOR THEM THAN THE FIRST.
    ● 21 For IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR THEM NOT TO HAVE KNOWN THE WAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, THAN AFTER THEY HAVE KNOW IT, TO TURN FROM THE HOLY COMMANDMENTS DELIVERED UNTO THEM.
    ● 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
    ● Matthew 24:13 But THE ONE WHO ENDURES TO THE END will be saved. ● Here I'm going to add
    ● MATT 7:2 as well, because the surest way for you to earn hell for yourself is to condemn others to go there. The same judgement you use to judge others with will be used to judge YOU. MORE:
    ● JOHN 15:1-2 1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. 2 EVERY BRANCH IN ME THAT DOES NOT BEAR FRUIT IS TAKEN AWAY, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, HE IS CAST OUT as a branch and is withered; and they GATHER THEM AND THROW THEM INTO THE FIRE.
    ● MATTHEW 7:19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit IS CUT DOWN AND THROWN INTO THE FIRE. ● MATTHEW 19:17 If we want to enter into LIFE, we must KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.
    ● JOHN 15:10 (ESV) IF YOU KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.
    ● 1 JOHN 3:15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that NO MURDERER HAS ETERNAL LIFE abiding in him.
    ● 1 COR 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. ● 1 COR 9:27 (ESV) But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.
    ● MATTHEW 18:8 And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire.
    ● Romans 2:6-8 (ESV) 6 He will render to each one according to his works: 7 to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8 but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.
    ● Romans 11:22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: SEVERITY TOWARDS THOSE HO HAVE FALLEN, but God’s kindness to you, PROVIDED THAT YOU CONTINUE IN HIS KINDNESS. OTHERWISE YOU TOO WILL BE CUT OFF.
    ● Philippians 2:12 (ESV) Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,
    ● 1 John 3:10 (ESV) By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.
    ● 1 John 5:3 (ESV) For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.
    ● 1 John 5:16-17 (ESV) 16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life--to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death.
    ● PHILLIPIANS 2:12 12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING.
    ● COLOSSIANS 1:24 I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh, for His body’s sake, which is the church... JESUS DID IT ALL: (NOPE) Protestants claim that "Jesus did it all" and that nothing is required of them except for faith, but JESUS tells us we must feed the hungry & clothe the naked (Good works) if we want to enter the Kingdom of God, and if we do NOT, we will be sent away into the eternal fire. Colossians 1:24 Paul Tells us we share in the suffering of Chrst Sacrificial Service for Christ 24 I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, Acts 14:22 22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

Tell us where God or Christ said once saved always saved . Where did anyone in our Holy Bible say once saved always saved ? If it was soooo easy or soooo important ? Christ would have said so . We must remain in Christ to do anything . If we are not fruitful we can be cut out of the vine of Christ .
Anyone who chooses to sin after knowing the truth . Tasted the righteousness of God . They can find themselves in danger of judgment

You are ignorant and angry. Repentance IS the fruit, NOT a process it's an EVENT. Repentance is the recognition of my sinnership, the owning before God that i am as vile as he declared me to be in his word. Salvation is an event not a process. The growth is not necessary for the birth to take place.
We weren't saved because we repented of our sins, that saves no one; because the standards of the law is perfection. If you fail to atone at one point you fail AT ALL. You don't bring your works, not sinning or keeping the law into salvation. You can't be good enough to save yourself. All behavioral changes are the fruit of saving faith, which is TRUSTING in CHRIST, which is spiritual maturity and growing in his grace.
Hebrews 6: 4-6 "It is impossible to renew again to repentance" means that if it "were possible" to lose salvation (it's not) then there would be no way to get it back. This error has people like yourself stuck on stupid. It's basically saying that if salvation could be lost, you're out of luck. No second chance to get "re-saved"
Just because the Holy Spirit works through people, doesn't mean they're saved. These people who "tasted" and had once been "enlightened and have fallen away", to restore them again to repentance is impossible. They can't be restored because they NEVER were saved to begin with. You can't go back to where you've never been!
These were people who read/heard but never believed. They rejected, walked away and now they're reprobate. Hebrews 6 is teaching that when you hear the word of God, and the Holy Spirit is working in you, that's the time to get saved, because you never know if that's your last chance.
God does not accept human glory.

You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in." [20] Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. [21] For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. [22] Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. [23] And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. [24] For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

There is no free gift of salvation, the free gift is for baptism, past sins forgiven to allow a believer to live by faith not sin. For good works of faith there is a free gift of access to eternal life. Romans 5-8 is baptism.

While they were actively sinning and did not clean up first. I believe the perfection of Christ finished it all hence His words... "it is finished" .. i do NOT believe even the struggling feel good in those things the Holy Spirit defends us in and chastises us in the midst of.
