- I've been working on a "how to make full use of the grapple hook" video for a few weeks now.
I recorded a couple dozen matches to get examples from gameplay to go along with the tutorial sections, and clipped out every time I did something neat with the grapple. This video is just all of those clips.

Amazing! Is the multiplayer scene in Titanfall 2 still active? I was considering of buying the game just for its multiplayer
Titanfall 2 is an amazing game period. I highly recommend you play the campaign as it will take you through a lot of the fundamental movement mechanics. Multiplayer is still going strong. 😁
Absolutely my dude. Depends on platform and region, but the player base is really devoted. PC is your best bet, there are people to play with at all hours.

@@ChristmasLightsTonight Hey bud, i bought Titanfall 2 recently and am totally digging this game. But i noticed that the matches take a long time to start. Even when there are a few 100 players, the matchmaking takes from somewhere around 5 to 10 minutes. Is it like this for you too?

Great video. Could you share your loadout and why you use the cold war for your pilot weapon?
Thanks! I was working my way through all of the grenadier weapons (since they're all super fun), and just realized i really liked the way it synergizes with grapple. You HAVE to be above your enemy for coldwar to be effective, and grapple lets you stay up there. And you get to feel like spiderman the whole time.
And as for loadout: Amped weapons, grapple, firestar, then coldwar (extended magazine and fast reload are essential), mozambique (gunrunner + tactikill), power cell and low profile
As much time as you spend on the walls and in the air along with slide hopping is gunrunner really worth it? I was told that it only works if you are sprinting on the ground. Honestly I've tried to find out, but still not sure on the details of what it does. I know guys like "Mr. Fruit" and a couple others really like it but Frothy Omen, Iniquity, Benchy and Gamesager don't seem to use it at all. And thanks so much for getting back to me. Really hoping to see you put out more quality vids. My own gameplay seems to have deteriorated recently despite playing alot. Don't know if it is switching from phase shift to grapple or if the competition is just getting that much better and tougher for this old man. I'm new to FPS and coming to it in your mid 50's is tough against these young guys with such quick reflexes. Don't like being a drag to my team so thank you much for your help.
Happy to help! You're right about gunrunner, but I have it on Mozambique since I only switch away from Coldwar in two situations -- when it's an emergency and I'm out of ammo, or when I'm running into a cramped indoor area (where I'm not going to be doing any wallrunning). In the latter case I'm always sprinting on the ground, which is exactly when you need gunrunner.
People who don't do much sliding or wallrunning will put gunrunner on their SMGs (since the hipfire of those guns is so deadly accurate), but that means they're on the ground, and people on the ground in the open are food for my Coldwar.
And if you have slower reflexes or poorer aim like myself, grenadier weapons like Softball or Coldwar (or the EVA shotgun) are excellent. I use a very high mouse sensitivity, which makes me able to whip around on a twitch, but makes my precision aim and tracking terrible. But with their splash damage, you just need to hit the floor near someone. With the EVA, you need to get up in people's faces, making Stim the better tactical to use. Slap Tactikill on it and you'll be set.

Not quite; see my comment on the other video. You need to actually find the Japanese audio pack and swap a .dll file to get it.

Is amped Cold War good?
Because Coldwar damage can be really fudgy (direct hits actually do LESS damage) guys on the ground are left with tiny slivers of health after a full blast way too often. Amping just turns those into definite kills, so you don't need to switch to your sidearm to finish them off. And you're way more likely to get big multi-kills.
Plus it does damn decent damage against titans when amped.
