Another point to consider is how much easier it is to pack the flex hose. Being lighter, smaller and more flexible allows it to fit much more easily in a regulator bag. Especially if you use it for all your hoses.
Are you still diving Miflex? How does it perform in water - I’ve heard that it tends to float, which is distinctly different from rubber hoses sinking. I’m considering setting up a new regulator set long hose, and definitely do not want the long hose getting floaty, that would not be good. Second question - does the coating degrade and/or become ‘haired’ or have strands poking out?
Yes, they are great. I don 't believe they are buoyant. #1 regulator accessory. And I like they come in colors to help people identify their gear. I get approx 40 rubber hoses in service for problems to every Miflex hose. Very rare to have a problem. Thanks for watching. Freddy
the only issue i had when i replaced my hoses is that the clip that holds my high pressure hose in place doesn't work anymore. the miflex hoses are thinner and the clip is made for a thicker hose.
An old Navy trick is to cut a bicycle inner tube into about a 3/4 inch slice. Will stretch over your inflator hose and you can put your low pressure hose through it. Black and it works great. Thanks Duane.

Thanks for the review. Very informative and useful.
Thanks for caring enough to say thanks. Thanks for watching more to come soon. Freddy
It's all I use, so far haven't had any issues. Thank you. 👌🏼
As always 👍
