Piece it all together now
Because I sell myself short every time
Oh, how you became my life
You took me in before I could back out
Well I still have faith
It will start again
Oh, I still have faith
Well I'm about to spend my cold life
Cutting corners, placing blame
Any moment this could catch fire,
Erasing all the stains, so here's to starting over
We could be the same, we'll change it all together
The future's mine to claim,
Claim, mine to claim
You can't get out
Fear, couldn't place its hands on us my dear
My pride has dropped
Because I couldn't sell short myself this time
String it along
Say you'll love me either way
Well I'm about to spend my cold life
Cutting corners, placing blame
Any moment this could catch fire,
Erasing all the stains, so here's to starting over
We could be the same, we'll change it all together
The future's mine to claim
Seeing past
It's about time I asked for more
Watching my life, at the distance we have come
While I bled, while I've learned
But I always seem to give up on my self
(Self, self, self, self)
String it along
Say you'll love me either way
Say you'll love me any way
While I'm alone
Say you'll love me either way
Mine to claim, claim!
Well I'm about to spend my cold life
Cutting corners, placing blame
Any moment this could catch fire,
Erasing all the stains, so here's to starting over
We could be the same, we'll change it all together
The future's mine to claim... - เพลง
I've been trying to remember this song for over an hour now!!!! ugh, what a song!!
His voice control is incredible.
@Henry Galhardo imagina se eu te mandar alguns covers meus das músicas do Jonny, XD
Tô chegando lá!
Still haven't killed myself to this day someone, cheers to this song. Love ya'll x
@christianvigers2697 stay strong gang you not alone
@@christianvigers2697I almost died multiple times from overdose on fentanyl. I've been clean 18 months and I met the US secretary of energy 2 months ago as a representative for my job. This last week I was promoted to weld technician and now im going to become an engineer. If you asked me what I see in 2 years 2 years ago I probably would have cried because there was nothing good to anticipate. Point is you gotta hold on for the good to come. It will. Take infinity from the sky and make it your own. That mantra kept me alive.
the beginning gives me chills every single time i hear it
all emarosa songs with Jonny in it for me.
Because I sell myself short everytime
Still Listening in 2020!
Turquoise Cheetah agreed
Of course! Why wouldn't I?

A toast, to the future kids!

His voice is therapy on a whole new level. I guess the future kids are around.
This man continues to give me chills when I experience his music since I was 15 now I’m 27

@@Brandon-bc5um So what? People shouldn't listen to this song because he's a PoS? What are you doing here?
I didn't even know who Jonny Craig was until Slaves and then I realized all of my favorite songs from Dance Gavin Dance and Emarosa were sung by him.
He portrays so much emotion every time he sings it truly is amazing. This man is a true artist.
Johnny Craig: The Definition Of Seperating The Art From The Artist

sigh this brings so much memories back..wish he didn't leave the band but you know, shit happens for a reason.
here's to starting over!
His voice is timeless
+12 from me, To bad for him that he has his struggles. For he sings like an angel❤
Emarosa is so UNDERRATED, they deserve to get more attention.
The older stuff (like this song) makes me actually feel something. The new stuff is okay but it will never make me feel like this does.
SuperMusicallygal couldn't have said it better
ffucking rightman just hitme deep makes me feel warm and fuzzy
While this song is beautiful, their new album (131) actually hits me on a more deeper and emotional level.
Both eras have great and touchy songs but like how Jonny sings just makes it more WOW
Sadie Adler and now they turn in pop
Jonny Craig has such a good voice, I hope someday he grows up.
Jonny, you're the reason i keep singing and the reason i dont lose faith in music. We still believe in you
Put your faith in Adonai!! Jesus Christ loves you all!! God bless. Not forcing you, just saying. ✝️❤🤍🕊️

This song was everything to me 10 years ago. At 27 now it makes me some type of way. Just a reminder that life is real, and im a totally different person now.
Hate him or not, Jonny is still one of the most talented vocalists in the genre and true skill can't be denied.
11 years later and still true, Best singer of the whole genre
The best vocalist in the whole world. Fact.

When you're a kid you don't realize the power of the lyrics. Now at 23, I feel I get all of jonnys lyrics so much more.
the intro gets me every time
Johnny and Tyler Carter need to have a love child.. could you imagine? wow
I got told I sound like there disabled love child and I took it as a massive complement. I'm being taught by jonny atm I can't wait to see the results
i had around 3 lessons with him and ive improved a hella lot he taught me through skype
They did, Mikey Sawyer. Miss Fortune - Chasing Dreams
hey, you! i'd love to have lessons from jonny, how do you go about talking to him?
+necromancer584 meet him at one of his shows. I went to two of them both at small venues. he is really cool to talk to
Two years ago my friend killed himself, I tried a few months ago. I called my self and ambulance before I passed out,, spent four days in ICU...the lyrics are so relative to people wanting to start over, not knowing how. Some people, think it might be and end to life, others, just a new set of environment. But either way, people struggle, Im lucky im here, because I shouldn't be, just take happy in the fact that we are here, because one day we wont.
Just know I love you 💖 hope you get this even though you posted 6 years ago
So sorry about your friend, hows he doing today?

This was THE Emarosa we all fell in love with all those years ago. And it's sad to say but this band is long gone by now. They existed in a special place in time which won't be forgotten by many of us. And it would be ridiculous trying to compare this Emarosa vs what they're now. They're two completely different bands, don't know why they've kept the name for this long. Everyone except the guitarist from this iconic line up has left the band ages ago. I hope that one day we could hear these amazing songs performed by those who wrote them, although it is unlikely. But luckily we can always listen to them here still. Its 2020 and these songs are just as special to me as they were back in the day. :)
remembering that I was happy hearing this
That pic makes me happy because Jonny looks so happy :)
When I listen to Jonny's voice. I start picturing white gleaming lights, then tiny little angels floating around me. Ahhh his voice is so perfect.
His voice is like velvet.. it melts my heart.
Ever feel like you are the only one keeping this time period of music alive?
His voice wow! love this song!!!!!!
Fuck every time, oh look a cool new ban- fuck Jonny Craig was in this one to...
He's only been in about six bands. You must not listen to a lot of different bands if you keep finding Jonny's bands
John Falcon ghost runner on third, dance Gavin dance, isles and glaciers, emarosa, dance Gavin dance again, slaves
2 new albums are mu favourite
Well, I mean, technically, one could argue that he's only been in five bands, he's just been in one of them twice. But that doesn't really change the point much.
You guys forgot a skylit drive.....
I just discovered these guys a couple days ago, and they're already one of my favorite bands. All of their songs are great.
I hope everyone here is doing okay these days. Please be safe and know that people care about you, even if it may not feel like it at times. If you are feeling troubled, maybe professional help is the answer, or talking to a trusted friend about what you are going through. Wish you all the best.
This album is so good. Every now and then I like to revisit it and it always gives me chills.
I have the demo songs of this album as well as the other two songs they recorded when writing this album on a CD in my car and its fun to listen to that and see how the early versions morphed into these polished versions.
"You can't get out
Fear, couldn't place its hands on us my dear
My pride has dropped
Because I couldn't sell short myself this time
String it along
Say you'll love me either way"
my favorite part of the song, idk why this song makes me emotional
I will forever be in love with this man’s voice
This Jonny, was so healing. Like omg
I love Bradley and the new Emarosa sound, but something about this song will never erase the old Emarosa for me. Probably my favorite song out of Emarosa's entire discography.
This song was everything as a teen I love it even more now!
This album was my life at 18. Still brings me back, and I still love it just the same.
The way Jonny delivers his lyrics is simply amazing.
Any MacBook links here ??
2019 and that intro still just touches my soul.
"Say you'll love me either way".........powerful words the way he's singing it
Seeing Jonny do this live was absolutely insane, and everything I ever wished it would be. Thank you for getting me through so much, bud. Your story isn't over!
Literally a classic in my book ♥️
I met them last year at Warped but wasn't super familiar with them. But now I finally got around to listening to them and I am so happy they're coming back to Warped again this year I hope to meet them again and actually acknowledge the fact that they are kick ass.
I will get to see them at Warped tomorrow!!! So excited.
Jinxx and Ava probably sounded like shit. Saw them with jonny 3 times there new guy is trash and ruins classics
As a kid this song was played constantly for jams as an adult.. whew.. this just sounds so fitting in these moments of adulthood.
It's not the drugs that make people hate on Jonny. It's the way he treats people.
i used to listen to this back in 2014 when I was pretty sad and everything was going downhill and wow.. listening to this now is insane
No doubt.. best Emarosa Album!!! 2019 and still sound fresh and new!
I get chills every time I listen to him. Just amazing.
Will forever be one of my favorite songs!
I can't believe its been 10 years :(
