Everytime I hear old emarosa with jonny (the only emarosa I listen to) all I can think is what I would give to go back to 2010 and see them live. Something beautiful died when Jonny got kicked out. I know both have moved on but none of either Jonny or Emarosas new stuff makes me feel like I do when listening to this album.
I actually saw jonny Craig in 2010 at warped tour in west Palm Beach Florida right when he made that new DGD album. he toured with DGD and he played in the ampitheatre then DRUGS played right after them with Craig Owens. it was absolutely insane.
They really caught lightning in a bottle on this album. It can be appreciated by literally anyone 16-35. Really broad appeal, beautiful musicianship and vocals, universally relate-able lyrics.
In the history of music, has there ever been a more heart-breakingly painful yet beautifully poetic line written than: "Well I'll take a life for you, to spend my life with you, but in the end you'll always leave..." Damn... gets me every time...
This album is bittersweet. It’s the happiest time of my life and became the worst time of my life when it came out. Great songs, love Craig and the band but listening to these songs make me tear up. Hope everyone stays safe during the rest of 2020. Good vibes for more Emarosa, Slaves and whatever Craig is in now lol
Even though he's literally the.most difficult person and a fucking human disaster, his bands still hit him up to come sing again and again. He fucking stumbles onto brilliance with absolutely no effort. It's amazing
I know im not the only one this song relates to when it comes to some sad situation in a relationship you were in where you gave more than that person ever did
when I close my eyes, everything start to float at 3:09, gentle and sweet, but with that note at 3:33, I INSTANTLY DIE AND GO TO HEAVEN!!! OMG THIS IS THE MOMENT OF THIS SONG, simply amazing!
I've had this on repeat for like an hour x.x But it's soo good. This album is soo good actually, and all of the songs just get stuck in your head, and no matter what you do. You cannot seem to get them out. I love Emarosa! xx
I haven't listened to you guys in years because when i first did I was just a kid and for some reason your band name sparked into my brain the other day and I logged onto youtube and listened to your older stuff, which I used to listen to when I was younger and I was jamming! Then I listened to this and your newer stuff and wow this is awesome! I wasn't sure I would like it because it sounded different but it was awesome maybe even better. Good job guys keep it up.
dem feels are fucking real, I remember when this album came out.. holy fuckin shit I was a sophomore in high school and now I'm a sophomore in college what the fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk PRETEND. RELIVE. REGRET
@KylieIshBeast "In the end, you always leave" immediately after that though. It's not love, this song is about moving on and getting over someone. So don't go dedicating it to anyone haha.
I am absolutely in love with this band. They have saved my fucking life.. I actually got a fox tattooed on me bc of them. 'Hinse. There album cover' I wanted to get something that showed my love for them.
nothing like this song to rip open some old wounds
true
Brittany Caron so true
I'm drunk and I feel like crying
Thats why i hate listening to some songs cause they take me into a dark place that i wish to forget
I have whole albums I can't listen to unless I'm in a certain headspace. This is one of those albums.

+quadrider47 your honestly missing out of some really good music with the new singer... give him a shot

Same here jonny in emarosa just hits a certain spot in my body and soul ❤❤❤
Yeah the new stuff must be missing that little drug called nostalgia. It takes awhile to hit you, but when it does hit, it hits hard and fades slow.
100% agree. I'll listen to some of Jonnys new stuff by himself but this album was the OG Emarosa fans
My eyes start to water when i try to describe the godly miracle that is Jonny's voice. True story.
Yeah his shit brings a tear to my eye no 🧢

@@AccountInactivea toast to the future kids
One of my favorite albums of all time. It never gets old.
Emarosa will never get old. I got through a tough depression thanks to this band.
I definatley admire Jonny here in Emarosa more than I do in his more recent stuff.
I hate that nobody at my school listens to these guys because I don't have anyone I can fangirl to, I love Emarosa so much
Me too! haha :(
Luka Hunter that's why you show it to them c: now I have 3 people who I can talk to them about
Well it’s been a minute. Did they come to their sense’s? 😂
Still jamming this album every single day. Absolutely amazing
In the history of music, has there ever been a more heart-breakingly painful yet beautifully poetic line written than: "Well I'll take a life for you, to spend my life with you, but in the end you'll always leave..."
Damn... gets me every time...
I'll take a life for you, to spend my life with you.
Forever my favorite lyrics.
The album art alone fills me with so much nostalgia
*10 years of this masterpiece*
Hopefully jonny could break his addiction and have his soul soar as high as his beautiful voice

every time i listen to an emarosa song i think *that is their best song*...
then i click next... and my mind is blown all over again...
it never gets old :')
His voice makes me happy.
Call me crazy but I always preferred Jonny being in emarosa compared to DGD. This style fit his voice better. Ahhh this album never gets old
I feel like anything jonny does has a DGD vibe to it but maybe that's just me
@Femboy Friday literally is this imo also
Same. Tilian belongs in DGD.
His voice is so amazing
damn you're gorgeous. and you're right. jonny is easily the best rock vocalist of our generation
Taylor McLane will you marry me?
i know that little red fox so well...

@@kembang6603 u must be like 17. 11 years too young. Move along
So much emotion, such a great track
Favorite Emarosa song ever, not like i dont love everything they've done with jonny, but definitely my top favorite :)
Broken vs the way that we were born is one of my favorites!
This song is like helping my with this relationship, making me move on. Love it.
His voice is just so perf
His voice is.. PERFECT
3:33 is goosebumps
Jonny is unreplaceable. He does create some amazing bands wherever he goes though
Even though he's literally the.most difficult person and a fucking human disaster, his bands still hit him up to come sing again and again. He fucking stumbles onto brilliance with absolutely no effort. It's amazing

I just discovered this band on here tonight, and they're awesome :D I LOVE their sound!!!
when I close my eyes, everything start to float at 3:09, gentle and sweet, but with that note at 3:33, I INSTANTLY DIE AND GO TO HEAVEN!!! OMG THIS IS THE MOMENT OF THIS SONG, simply amazing!
Still amazing toward the end of 2020 and will still be phenomenal in 2021
I've had this on repeat for like an hour x.x But it's soo good. This album is soo good actually, and all of the songs just get stuck in your head, and no matter what you do. You cannot seem to get them out. I love Emarosa! xx
I went from listening to rap...heard this song and A toast to the Future kids!...and now I LITERALLY feel my soul splitting at the seams...
Been listening to this album since release and am no where near done. Best album I've ever heard.
i just found this song not even 10 minutes ago, and i'm in love with it.
Man jonny is just to damn good
My friend just passed away early this morning, this song really just hits home
Hope you're doing better now:)
@@taydavies9971 My name is Damon as well, but I do send my condolences.
Scott Umstead thinks: That voice is like no other a voice sent from heaven
This band has helped me through so much.
Flawless. Completely flawless.
when I close my eyes and listen...i think this is what heaven must sound like
Emarosa vs. Slaves? Probably Emarosa, but that's okay because Slaves is still pretty cool and new Emarosa is amazing.
dgd.
The song still "move on"... In 2020! Lol. Amazing as always, guys!

Listening in 2020!
songs amazing. so much talent
I love that Jonny Craig's mullet has it's own Public Figure page on Facebook.
That's boss status right there.
anybody understand what Jonny belts out around the 3:32 mark? Is it "MOVE OOOOOOOOOOON!" or something else?
"AAAAAAND I..." I think.
+host nmv I think it also could possibly be "AND OOOOOON." Not sure, though.
Tessa Emily Right. Jonny's words it's a real mystery in this album hahaha.
dem feels are fucking real, I remember when this album came out.. holy fuckin shit I was a sophomore in high school and now I'm a sophomore in college what the fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
PRETEND. RELIVE. REGRET
Jonny may have been a bad person but bro has a godly voice and can write songs really good
i love the song
I breathe the lyrics he sings
i like jonnys voice in his older stuff more than what hes doing now but i have to say "theres only one god and his name is death" is a good song

As soon as I read this I went straight to the page and liked it. xD

Everything Johnny Craig touches. Dgd and even his own personal stuff.
Love them.
3:33 Gah damn!
April 2020 Corona and Emarosa destroying lungs and hearts.

Aguante Emarosa!!!
Jonny Craig is the singer. You might know him from a little band called Dance Gavin Dance? O now you recognize him haha.
Ian Jones no fucking way
Ian Jones I already knew that I actually knew Jonny Craig and emarosa (yes I know he was in emarosa) before I knew dance Gavin dance
no need to tell you can check out his channel if you wish to see the video he's talkin 'bout
Yes; doesn't matter what you look like.
