    I drove one of these from 2004-2012. This brought back some memories. Thanks for posting.

      3 or 4 inch Lowering blocks on back and loosen the torsion bars bolts to lower the front.

    could u show the evap canister lines nd also were the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line connection i cant find no vacuum diagram thanks great looking car

      I would take a pic for you but don’t know how to send it on TH-cam. The canister on my truck has two hoses the big fatty one in the center goes to the steel fuel line that goes to the gas tank. Other one goes to the solenoid (purge maybe?) that has blue plug. The fuel regulator hose goes to to another solenoid that has a black plug. Hope that helps.

    I've got the same truck, it's stuck in reverse though. Any idea how to get it out?

    Was the new dash cluster a simple plug ?& play for the oil temp / coolant temp / tach displays??? or did you need a new harness or plug??

    • @dunemaster3179
      @dunemaster3179  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's been a long time since I've done it. As far as I remember it's plug-and-play. The only thing you have is to re-route the tach cable through another hole behind the gauge instrument, but it's super easy. Also, keep in mind that extra cabs have different fuel tanks, so if you get one from an extra cab truck it will not display the fuel tank gauge correctly. Mine shows 95% full on the gauge when my tank is at %100 full capacity, but it's a minor issue for me since it's a very close reading. The temp gauge works fine. Hopefully, this helps.

    This video is now 2 years old so I’m guessing I’ll get no response. But would you recommend as a first car?

    • @dunemaster3179
      @dunemaster3179  ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends what your situation. It’s a cool truck and don’t to drive, but newer cars are more comfortable for daily driving. I would hate to use my truck for everyday driving. It also sucks on the highway for long trips.

    Where did you get the fuel injection for it and was it hard to convert?

    • @dunemaster3179
      @dunemaster3179  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I bought a complete EFI truck from salvage auction and swapped everything over to my truck. It's not hard, but very time consuming.
