    When you added in the cords on the side to do the double half hitch rows, what did you do with the little end sticking out? Tuck it into the back? This is gorgeous, I imagine it's tough to do this style and keep it straight and not wonky, if that makes sense. I'm going to attempt something like this! Thanks for the video.

      Thank you so much! Yes I just tucked them in the back. I would like to secure them more but not sure how. It does get wavy but that’s the fun part about it!😊

    Beautiful!! How many balls of the chunky yarn did you use in this piece? I saw in the link to Michael's that a single ball is 32 yards, but how many did you use and can you give an overall dimension to this finished piece, how wide and long.... Thank You So Much!!

    • @stmnthomedecor9073
      @stmnthomedecor9073  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I got two balls and I split the yarn in half because it is twisted. So you get double the amount from one ball. So I believe I used about 1 and a half balls of the yarn😊

    This is amazing, I’m trying to teach myself, and now I’m excited to see that you could do this without weaving loom or tapestry loom? What tool are you using? I’m currently trying to use my laundry rack.. 😅 because I can’t find these tools in the country I’m in and not sure what exactly I should order

    This is beautiful. I tried but found the mountain outline bunched up. (Wave like). What could be the reason?

    • @stmnthomedecor9073
      @stmnthomedecor9073  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I waved/bunched on my piece as well, not sure why. I was a little frustrated with it but then I felt it went with the design so then I was ok with it

    How long is every single cord? As I'm a newbe and the most difficult thing for me is estimate lenth of the cord

    • @stmnthomedecor9073
      @stmnthomedecor9073  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have the same problem! I believe I did 18ft for the cords. Usually what I try to do is whatever length I want my project to be I’ll times that length by 4.

    • @patmarek1369
      @patmarek1369 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And was it enough?because on other videos somebody suggested 6 times length or even 8 ?

    • @stmnthomedecor9073
      @stmnthomedecor9073  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@patmarek1369 I’ve found that 4 times have been fine with me. But it also depends on how tight your knots are or how detailed the pattern is you are doing then you need extra long cords
