I this video I demonstrate how to rejuvenate the shine on old oxidized paint. The paint on this 40 year old Suzuki motorcycle tank was in pretty rough shape. Using a clay bar and a little elbow grease, I was able to restore the shine on this old motorcycle tank. I then followed up with carnauba wax and then a synthetic polymer wax. The tank that I resorted in this video belongs to a 1982 Suzuki GS 650 G that I'm resurrecting. The process I followed in this video is one way to restore faded automotive or motorcycle paint.

Got the same bike (maroon color) as my daily driver. Bought it from my old landlord in Vermont about 11 years ago and brought it with me to Texas in 2019. Planning on taking apart, cleaning, and rebuilding the engine during my week long Christmas vacation. Hopefully it all works out!

Take the Suzuki emblem off. It only takes two minutes. It makes cleaning the tank a lot easier.
