I made a couple of these wallets and found that the driver’s license and credit cards fit so tightly that I struggled to insert and remove them. I also found that cash was a tight fit lengthwise. I made a third increasing the 4 1/8 inch dimensions and the seven inch dimensions by 1/4 inch each and now it looks great and credit cards, drivers license and cash are easy to insert and remove.
Thanks, as always!!!! If I could keep only one of my sewing machines, then it would be the Sailrite machine. And if I could buy supplies from only one vendor, it would be Sailrite. You guys rock; and the LS-1 rocks!!!
Hi dear. Love your work. Can I do it with felt material? And... does this rotary cutter work on felt too ? And....is this rotary cutter available on a stationery shop, or should i see it in some hardware store?? Please reply me I'm waiting. Thankyou
I have not made on out of felt material. I wonder if it would take the abuse that a wallet usually takes. Try it out and let me know. Yes, a rotary cutter will work on felt fabrics. You can buy the rotary cutters here: www.sailrite.com/search?keywords=rotary%20cutter
first Cordura wallet made in NYC by Andy Wong in 1980. FYI its cordura plus. Sorry but wallet made wrong. Its possible to sew corners with out cutting. Melting webbing only leaves a rough edge that will eventually ravel. too see sample made correctly go to instagram johnpetersnewyork

Thank you great teacher
You say binding funny, I liked you
great tutorial as always
Thanks!!!
Is it easy foldable or will it keep being a bit stiff?
It takes awhile to train the fabric to fold easily, but eventually it did.
Hello, can I kindly ask what stitch Lenght would you suggest , thank you
I would sew with a 4mm to 5mm stitch length for a project like this.
Great video. What gauge thread did you use? Do you have a tutorial for a trifold?
We used a size #18 needle with V-69 Polyester thread.
Yes
what type of fabric?

Can this be sewn on the portable Sailrite machines?
Absolutely it can.
Cool
Can cordura be ironed
Yes, use a warm iron (not too hot) and only press the uncoated side of the Cordura fabric.
👍😉. Thanks.
Great idea!
Thank you
And where do you put coins?
Show!!
Looks like a wallet made by Recycled Firefighter.
