Short wife / 1yr old baby and bought the Grenadier station wagon and it gets used heavily as a daily / dad bus and it’s outright awesome. Wife loves it and as a trialmaster it rolls out ready to go.
Duggo, go the grenadier mate it’s the best 4x4 I’ve owned, speak to any Ineos owner and they would agree, yes it’s pricey but it will be a long term car. You will get bored of the ranger 👍great pod gents 😎😎😎
Fantastic episode as usual, surely Casey Council is taking the piss, charging a fee for the application and the another fee for the permit. I feel if I was fined, I would be ok, see you in court. Good to see Duggo back, obviously cut some moves on the dance floor given he has a bandaid on his knee. Can't go past the Ineos, it will be an investment and probably at least at 10yr car, I have a Navara that is 20yrs old. Was lucky to be in WA for New Years, last minute free concert at Rockingham with Cat Empire, was worth the drive from Armadale. Is Duggo hinting at something in his future. Duggo has to listen to the Ministry.of War and Finance on this one, maybe Schoey can hook him up with a salary sacrifice with the boys at paywise, Happy Wife, Happy Life Keep up awesome work.
Hey Liam, check out the problems with Ford motors V6 diesel and wet belts before buying one. If you really want a Ford after that then go for it. Just saying. I'm a Toyota fan but the Grenadier would be my choice with a Tank 300 or 500 coming in a close second. Love the podcast. Cheers.
@@joellewis8320 Yes it is the 4 cyl, my mistake, but the Ranger v6 has other issues like the injectors and wheel bearings. Just to name two issues I know about.
You can pick up a dealer new gladiator with front and rear lockers for under 70k. Is this not a good option? $140k is crazy and you get hit with luxury car tax ?
Honestly they are all great but all different. The ineos straight 6 diesel and the ranger V6 diesel propably the more exciting engines though and propably the last nice diesels we will get with out all the crap stuck on like add blue and hybrid systems. Having test driven all of them the Ranger V6 diesel is a great value choice and the diesel pulls like a train. 70 series will always be a good choice too. Super excited to see what the Ranger Super duty will bring. If the rumors are all true it will need very little upgrades post purchase for the avg tourer.
I like the Granadier. Awesome concept, but one thing to remember. Its European. If you plan on keeping it long term, just like any other european car, it will become a money pit. With all that tech, any issues remote, and you are in trouble. Rangers are a good all rounder, best dual cab by far, but reliability is questionable. Go the 79 series v8. You get simplicity, reliability, resale and you build it to your own spec. Yanky trucks are fun, but reliability and parts can be an issue. I work in the towing and recovery industry, so speaking from my experience.
Ronny I have watched other YT videos on the 250 Prado, having major electronic motor issues after water crossings. Basically totally shutting down, tow trucked away. Have you done a water crossing yet? And what's your thoughts. Cheers Jace
I agree and support having the pizza cutter AT tyres as they’re much better at accelerating and braking than the equivalent wider tyres that are often mud terrains. Also the road noise is much nicer. If you’re doing what you’re doing (speaking to Ronny), yea, the muddies will work better for yourself. But most of us drive our 4wds on road to and from work.
My issue is the price with todays cost of living crisis it’s absolutely insane to get a new 4x4 as a 23yr old I don’t want a 7 to 30 yr mortgage for a 4x4 it’s nuts even the used car market just to by a bush basher is uber expensive we live in the age of debt

Love the ready to go factor.

Ineos is at the top of the list

Love the Ineos Grenadier looks absolutely superb and drives the same.

The V6 doesn't have a wet belt. You may be thinking of the 4 cylinder.

Carpet Dashmats are awesome Ronnie, make a difference 🎉
Duggo if you get the ineos make sure you do alot of left calf stretching lol
Crackin ep boys, thanks for the kind words, voice message incoming, tree fiddy 😂
They clearly haven’t seen South Park 😂

Cant beat the V8 79 dual cab. Best 4wd you will ever own. You cant love any other car like a V8 79
As long as your not taking the piss with noise, paint overspray etc, you should be able to do what you want.

Grenadier 😉👌
Duggo needs to get the Quartermaster and give us a video review
Which Winch did Ronnie go for?
Youd be mad to go a ranger if you plan to sink money into it setting it up and own it for anything longer then the warranty period 😂

Ineos or F150 for mine. Petrol engines rule!
The best sand tyre is a road tyre. Not all terrain or muddy. Road tyres win on sand if same size
I just bought Nic’s old Raptor.
No way, how is it?
@@BackChatyeah good couple of scratches but nothing you would expect from a Ute.
He managed to dent the bash plate somehow, again nothing that bad.
No way, get a 6 to 10 year old 4th gen ram 2500 cummins. way more capable and reliable, more room and cheaper than a new grenadier.
you know you want it ...... Ineos
Grenadier.
Rehashing over the same content gents, shit or get off the toilet duggo, covering the same thing but different ways.
It’s always a fight to claim any warranty under Ford. Avoid at all cost.
