Summit Lake State Park - New Castle, IN

A great day of hiking on a cool and cloudy fall day. Plus we found a Goecache! This state park became Indiana's 19th state park in 1988. The park covers 2,680 acres, including an 800-acre lake. Recorded October 22, 2021. Like this video and subscribe to my TH-cam channel at: / @johnhynek

There are many great state parks in Indiana. I have, over the years, been to most Indiana State Parks. I have never been to Summit Lake until the day I created this video. There are still a few state parks I have not yet visited but intend to in 2022.

Thanks for watching the video. This was a really nice find for us. I have never been here before and I am a life long visitor to the Indiana State Parks. A smaller park but very well maintained.
