    The glasses on Felix Gray and Barner seem to just be blue light filtering. Do you know where we can get the actual magnified computer glasses you speak of?

    Exactly the info i wanted. Great work.
    I work as a web developer working 8 hrs a day, i do not wear any prescription or power glasses. If i will purchase computer glasses would it affect my eye number in longer run?
    Or should i buy just blue light anti glare only?
    I do not want power of computer glasses to affect my normal eye ?
    Can you suggest me some good glasses and some budget ones too.

    thank you for this video :) so would you recommend getting these just for people that look at their phones? also, do you believe that it makes your eyes hurt less, and prevents people from getting headaches?

    • @EyeInfluence
      @EyeInfluence  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Computer glasses can make a huge difference but the biggest thing you need to do if you're getting headaches is to rest your eyes throughout the day. The lack of blinking and constant focus on things up close is the real culprit. Glasses will help but 70% comes from lack of rest.

I believe I suffer from photophobia and am trying to decide if I should get anti-reflective / anti-glare, blue light filter or a simple TINT. Which one would you recommend for someone who suffers from eye strain and headaches/migraines? If a tint, WHICH ONE / COLOR?

    I have worn yellow gunnars for 4 years and my local optometrist recommended my to get Eyezen+ clear lenses that filter blue light. I am very skeptical but he shined a blue laser into my glasses and the light went through very easily compared to his lenses which the laser couldn't pass through. Gunnars claim 65 reduction and Eyezen+ claims 20 so I hope they are good

    So I have no prescription for my eyes , just got checked today. I use the computer for 8-9 hours a day and by the end of the day I can't focus on anything I have blurred vision and then it gets fixed after a while. I feel the fatigue in my eyes within an hour of working.
    So i can't buy gunners in my country can I just go get a 0.25+ glasses with the blue light filter?will it be the same as the gunner glasses?

    Hello!... I'm looking for a pair of prescription glasses, I spend most of the time in front of a computer, and I do get eye strain, but I wanted to get ones for everyday use. Something I didn't quite understood is, if I need to use prescription glasses already (I have myopia and astigmatism), getting computer glasses or blue light filtering glasses is any different?. Which ones do you recommend? (for international shipping!)

    • @EyeInfluence
      @EyeInfluence  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. Even if your doctor doesn't change your regular prescription, when you make glasses using your near PD, they would be better for computer use than your standard glasses. I know you said you want a pair for everyday but I don't suggest filtering blue light all day. If you can, make 2 different sets of glasses. One for computer work and the other for everything else.
      I think Gunnar and Felix Gray ship international. I like both of them. I hope this helps. Thanks for reaching out.

    Hello,
    I have -0.50 myopia in each eye and I only use my glasses to drive at night, go to the cinema etc. I am a graphic designer, so I spend many hours in front of the PC and all the objects I use are very close to my eyes. I also love to read and in these situations I don't feel very comfortable wearing my glasses. But the truth is, wearing or not, at the end of the day, I feel my eyes very tired and I see everything unfocused. So, I would like to know if a computer glasses could help me in this case. As I have myopia, can I use glasses with magnificaction or is it not recommended?
    Thanks

    I purchased Felix Grey glasses because of you lol so thanks. However I had one question. I just receieved my par of Felix Grey glasses and my question is is it suppose to alter the color of blue to show that the blue light filtering capabilites are working because all of the colors seem to look the same including the color blue so how do I know that it's working? Other blue light filtering glasses that I own almost completely remove the color blue when I look at anything with blue light but these Felix grey glasses don't remove any blue at all. It's still looks the same blue. Thanks in advance

    • @EyeInfluence
      @EyeInfluence  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Felix Gray has a standard lens that targets the lower range of blue light. Those lenses will not alter color much. Their sleep glasses target a higher range of the blue light spectrum and you’ll notice the filter much more.

    • @audiomc3370
      @audiomc3370 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EyeInfluence ok so just to confirm there is nothing wrong with my Felix Grey glasses since the glasses do not alter the blue at all? I would think blue light blocking glasses will alter the blue atleast a little but everything looks the same with the glasses on so I'm not sure if they are working or not. I'm aware that the Felix Grey sleep glasses do this but I was looking for daytime glasses that block out blue light without th noticeable tinit. I just want to make sure that nothing is wrong with my glasses.

    Does lowering the blue and green channel on my monitor helps with blue-light filtering?

    • @EyeInfluence
      @EyeInfluence  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't do it directly on the monitor because you don't need to do that all day. Mac OS and Win 10 have built in "night mode". They now turn on as the day gets later and helps to cut down on the blue light. I'd rather do that or go with something like f.lux

    • @curlyhairdudeify

      Blue light filter filters blue light.
      Computer glasses have a small boost of power in the bottom, or have a reduced pupillary distance compared to distance only glasses.

    For people who have 20/20 vision, will the magnification of the computer glasses mess with our eye sight.

    • @EyeInfluence
      @EyeInfluence  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Short answer, no. Since our vision is genetic, those that wear lenses with slight power will either become dependent on it or completely reject it. Some people can't tolerate even a little power in the lens. You're prescription will not worsen by wearing computer glasses.
