🎬 Making a Real Clapperboard

A friend needed a prop clapperboard for her film. With a low budget of 10$ and only half a day available to work, I made a classic/old fashioned product that not just looks like the iconic product, but also completely functions like the real thing. Since posting this video, I made two more similar claplerboards to viewers that reached out to me!

Nowadays clapperboards are either digital, or made for dry-erase markers.
Chalk boards are slowly becoming obsolete in our modern culture. Is my clapperboard historicaly accurate? Probably not. But I still consider it a success in recreating something that is iconic for a time period long gone.
