  • If my camera work didn't ruin it for you, and you appreciated me uploading it, contribute (if you can spare) a buck or two. I make no money from views, all add revenue goes to the acts. I wonder who does get the money though. The artist or the record companies? The artist owns the 'author' rights and typically the record company owns the 'mechanical recording' rights. But they didn't record it... I did.
paypal.me/Willi... It may interest you that donations of $10 or more can access a link to the uncompressed version (TH-cam versions are crunched 10:1). You can download the original raw file or the uncompressed version of the modified* show seen here. All donations are provided with a link to a comprehensive spreadsheet itemizing extensive details of the William G channel videos.
*This show may incorporate digital stabilization and some slight edits.
Life is short, don't spend too much of it watching other peoples videos. Make your own.
    Enjoy.
Anybody who doesn't mind posting a setlist, I'd appreciate it.
There's a pretty funny crowd participation event at the end of the encore and a Jeanne Beker Citypulse news report that uses footage I brought to them the next day.

I was at this concert with my fiancée, now my wife, 3rd row and 4 months before we were married. The place was packed way up onto the grass hill surrounding the stage. It was freakin amazing, Dave was bug-eyed most of the time and absolutely killed it as a live performance! Now here I am, 34 years later and still in awe.

Great concert! + There was a fight in the stands before the show started. The instigator got whooped and took an extra shot when he tried to shake hands. Good times!

I can't believe there isn't more footage of this wonderful guitarist!? I'm watching this now, and how I wish I had seen him live. (In 1988 I was watching Pat Metheny instead...how embarassing...) I'm so proud to be Canadian.

Can't believe this footage exists. I remember that encore so well. Nice to relive it a third of a century later!

When Wilcox was huge, and Q107 meant something to Canadian rock fans. Probably, the zenith of Canadian rock and popular music as it was most commercially viable. Take a look at the sold-out Ontario Place Forum, both seating and grass area are full. A sight non-existent in the 21st century.
