Thank you for showing the PC interface connection details for the AlfaOBD Program on the PC. I have an iPhone and was stuck on the PC interface. I was able to shut off the Fog light Hi Beam shutoff override on my 2015 RAM 1500. Now its research time for what other annoying factory things i can shut off or enable to make it what I want.

Yes you either have to use the tazer or alfa obd to tell the radio unit it’s a SRT version of your car it’s a must to unlock all the features in the video
Wit a 2015, I used the tazer to get the srt pages. But I only have been able to get the boost guage working but none of the other stuff. Like even simple things like the intake temp. Is this vid the fix for that? Do u got the intercooler temp and all that working? Do u remember what parts u needed? I mainly just wanna see my air/fuel ratio
Does the alpha obd let you use linelock in the Uconnect screen? I know the tazer lets you use the buttons on the steering wheel to lock the abs valves.
PLEASE HELP! i have a 2016 Chrysler 300 and i used a generic bluetooth obd port scanner and can do everything in this video qith it using AlphaOBD. However, i can only get performance pages on my instrument cluster, and not in the uconnect screen. Ive tried doing the settings reset thing and that didnt work, ive tried rebooting the radio and that didnt work. So far, i only have the drive modes options on the uconnect screen, but no button fkr lerformance pages where the guages are shown on the ucinnect screen.

I wonder. Has anyone tried this method with the Vlink MC+ instead of the Obdlink MX+ ? I know AlfaOBD website says the Vlink MC+ works with Alfaobd in general. But it doesn't say if the key fob programming feature superficially, will work with Vlink MC+. I mean it also doesn't specifically say the Obdlink MX+ works with the key feature either. If anyone has done this with the Vlink MC, I'd appreciate it if you could confirm it works. Thanks
This in no way will keep your vehicle safe. It reverts back to normal the second you unplug the battery and plug it back up… get a real anti theft like igla
I have to pull out my PC but I believe all you have to do is type in traction and the same menu setting where your typing in sport mode I will update this in a minute
Good question, when you open alfa obd and connect to the BCM, you’ll head over to the drop down menu as mentioned in the video but this time type “active sus” and it should pop up, turn the setting to “yes” just like on the video and it should be good to go Keep in mind it won’t actually adjust your suspension because you don’t have an active suspension module that comes in the 392 SRT and Hellcat platforms, but it should pop up as a changeable option in the radio unit
I have a 2016 pursuit Hemi awd mainly got the tazer for performance pages and the ability to go rwd mode line lock is a bonus. Its seems like rwd mode isn’t always engaging? Line lock works, I fooled around with trying art pages just to see and I got them but the drive modes say level unavailable to change. Had some weird glitching with srt pages where my headlights/tails wouldn’t flash when unlocking/locking car so I unmarried and remarried the taser. Wondering if Aphaobd could get this stuff working right. Would the red key do anything for me just for show???
there may be a way to tell the car to engage RWD only via the tazer or alfa obd however i haven't found the digital solution. for that you may have to remove the front differential and do a axle/drive shaft swap. tbh you should try to get as far as you can AWD just think "trackhawk" red key mode can be functional. for N/A cars you can change the black fob to have less power or no power at all for anti theft. but red key won't unlock untapped power alone

I was able to somehow enable performance pages/drive modes and they’re partially functional but I can’t use the timers, my splash screen behind the wheel is still regular jeep and won’t display the extra pages, just empty spots in their place.also I get service ESC FCW and ABS Lights

Correct you don’t need the tazer, it does help for some features as far as having access to them in the cluster but once you have alfa obd you don’t need a tazer to get the same features
Launch control works REALLY funny anyway the timing of slamming the break and throttle takes getting used to. I Personally have learned how to launch without it

Sounds like you did everything right all you need now is the actual red key fob unfortunately you cannot trick the car into thinking the black key is now a red key but you have access to the feature now

The air bag light is definitely a conundrum. I’m talking with dubb45 to see what we can do about it. My 2018 challenger never got the light with the tazer or alfa so I shared my alfa scan with him to see if maybe there some options or changes that will help everyone in the future.
no you can't, the stupid fobs knows what color it is lol. you can however buy a red fob from the dealer, auto locksmith or online/ebay. as long as the part number is associated with your year hellcat it will program just fine. this video is for those who really wanna do it themselves or dave money. it's only $200-$300 with the fob to have a professional program one

You’re not doing anything wrong, sometimes it reads a completely different pin with alpha OBD. For this the work around is to get a pin reading from a lock smith, Best way to do this is google “car locksmith near me” call around for availability and pricing ask specifically to re-sync your old fob and you need the 4 digit pin, don’t pay more than $120 for this service. Once you get the pin it’s pretty ez to follow these steps
What if I have Charger SXT PLUS version I don't have Sport mode, and any drive mode Can I use it to unlock Performance Pages, and manually from screen set transmission and steering modes for it? or it won't work? Weird thing is when I messaged you last my phone and veepeak would not connect at all, this morning I figured I would try it and Alfaobd connected to the veepeak but it would not connect to any modules at all, it just kept trying.

Yes but tbh launch control sucks it’s not useful at all n most guys don’t use it in the streets or strip but if you wanna give it a go this will unlock it

Great question, there’s 2 things you can try. 1. Just like the AUX programable buttons, press and hold the left arrow on the steering wheel and tap the sport button, this should cycle options on the cluster. Land back on sport mode 2. If using a tazer unmarry and remarry the device and make sure you’re changing the options accordingly and reboot in between changes and don’t do the next change until the previous one takes effect
@@wyteboii3688 yea it all depends on budget. if $ isn't a thing the dealer will sell you a red key fob just make sure it works for your year. just say you have a 20XX hellcat so they don't ask to many questions
🤬SUP make sure you fucks get the right part number for your specific years! Another thing you may need to know is whether your car is a 4A chip or 46 chip. Go to your local auto Locksmith and ask it’s usually free and takes seconds however programming a fob you already have may cost $100+

@@datankgaming most likely need a 2018+ but 2015-2021 should work. the information is stored in the BCM on mopar units and depending on make/trim you have access from factory to some features. this process unlocks what's there but doesn't add the features to your car. great question

Not really. You can do all this but the feature won’t be “functional” yes you can turn on red key or unlock SRT pages but the throttle response changes from black key to red key only happen in hp tuners which does require an unlocked pcm

it should workshop angrhing mopar so rams and chrysler! if you already have some features working with tazer alfa should be able to unlock the rest just note some features were not available before 2018, some feature changes require a head unit update to function correctly like launch control etc. i had a 2018 head unit and purchased a 2020 unit out of a srt392 to make it work right for example, you may be able to get away with a software update but i never figured out how to do it on my end for free, dealer charges to update the head units

Try resetting the radio/uconnect… look up how to reset the uconnect system the correct way if u cant find it let me know and I’ll tell u how but im pretty sure you’ll b able to find it
@@cadynbell2106 yes it does, after you’ve enabled redkey mode when your start your vehicle the uconnect screen will say 500hp black key mode until you program a red key then it will say 700+ red key mode
So I tried to change my 2020 scat settings to have the power and red key options on the screen with the alfa obd but nothing changed. Also corrected the new cluster to my actual mileage but none of the changes worked. When let it sit over night but still nothing. Any ideas?
pull pos and neg off battery make them touch for about 10-15 seconds this hard resets the bcm some features take a few starts and drives for it to take effect most the time end user is doing one step wrong just make sure you go through all the settings red key only comes up of the car thinks it's a hellcat scroll to the point where i choose cad types and follow those steps even if the settings don't seem to take you'll know it works when the cluster alerts a red key is on use
@@TestAndTune we got it to work with a BCM swap. To be transparent we got it to program to the 2013 srt but all it did was lock doors and start car, for that it’s all about the chip type. However we had to change bcm and to the 2015+ 8.4 radio for it to change power levels and do the whole drive modes ..so it can work just gotta determine how much you this mod client was already doing the radio upgrade so that helped.
if the pin is incorrect or the wrong amount of digits you'll have to get the pin from any dodge dealer for free provided registration and ID or pay a automotive locksmith to program the red key and give you the pin. make sure the car is off when you try to get the pin the alfa instructions are easy overlook i did a few times

In order to retrieve the pin you need to have the car off and hazards on.

Does your airbag light stay on like with the tazer someone told me that your airbag light will still be on even with the alpha and I really want to do it with my charger
The air bag light is definitely a conundrum. I’m talking with dubb45 to see what we can do about it. My 2018 challenger never got the light with the tazer or alfa so I shared my alfa scan with him to see if maybe there some options or changes that will help everyone in the future.
Yea whenever I turn on SRT page my airbag light comes on no matter which software I use so that remains off.
I hope they get that fixed

no you can't, the stupid fobs knows what color it is lol. you can however buy a red fob from the dealer, auto locksmith or online/ebay. as long as the part number is associated with your year hellcat it will program just fine. this video is for those who really wanna do it themselves or dave money. it's only $200-$300 with the fob to have a professional program one

You’re not doing anything wrong, sometimes it reads a completely different pin with alpha OBD. For this the work around is to get a pin reading from a lock smith,
Best way to do this is google “car locksmith near me” call around for availability and pricing ask specifically to re-sync your old fob and you need the 4 digit pin, don’t pay more than $120 for this service.
Once you get the pin it’s pretty ez to follow these steps
You don't go by part number easier to go by fcc Id when ot comes to keys and searching them

@@Alwayz_Angry I have 2008 dodge charger RT and 2013 300S 5.7L , I am using the app on my Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra, there is no bypass cable, I read that you only needed the bypass for 2018 and up.
Weird thing is when I messaged you last my phone and veepeak would not connect at all, this morning I figured I would try it and Alfaobd connected to the veepeak but it would not connect to any modules at all, it just kept trying.

You can delete the keys and add them back in no problem. You can program used keys from other vehicles.

Yes but tbh launch control sucks it’s not useful at all n most guys don’t use it in the streets or strip but if you wanna give it a go this will unlock it

Great question, there’s 2 things you can try.
1. Just like the AUX programable buttons, press and hold the left arrow on the steering wheel and tap the sport button, this should cycle options on the cluster. Land back on sport mode
2. If using a tazer unmarry and remarry the device and make sure you’re changing the options accordingly and reboot in between changes and don’t do the next change until the previous one takes effect

you may have to get it reset at an auto locksmith to "blank it out"

make sure you fucks get the right part number for your specific years! Another thing you may need to know is whether your car is a 4A chip or 46 chip. Go to your local auto Locksmith and ask it’s usually free and takes seconds however programming a fob you already have may cost $100+

@@datankgaming most likely need a 2018+ but 2015-2021 should work. the information is stored in the BCM on mopar units and depending on make/trim you have access from factory to some features. this process unlocks what's there but doesn't add the features to your car. great question

Not really. You can do all this but the feature won’t be “functional” yes you can turn on red key or unlock SRT pages but the throttle response changes from black key to red key only happen in hp tuners which does require an unlocked pcm

Anyone tried on a ram? Have all the screens and it registers changes using the tazer drive modes (hellcat engine one day but may as well key it now 😂)
it should workshop angrhing mopar so rams and chrysler! if you already have some features working with tazer alfa should be able to unlock the rest
just note some features were not available before 2018, some feature changes require a head unit update to function correctly like launch control etc. i had a 2018 head unit and purchased a 2020 unit out of a srt392 to make it work right for example, you may be able to get away with a software update but i never figured out how to do it on my end for free, dealer charges to update the head units
The problem is i Actually Have a Hellcat and Redkey but The power isn’t showing 700 or nothing Just shows Transmission, Paddle, Traction, And steering ☹️

you would need a way to connect alfa obd to the pcm/bcm. i believe the only way is through blue tooth although guy maybe be able to run ISB to OBD2 but i'm not sure
I bought 8.4 uconnect and with the taser and obd, I was able to get srt mode and performance page. But for some reason the performance page is not working properly. Like the gauges and number are not working.

Try resetting the radio/uconnect… look up how to reset the uconnect system the correct way if u cant find it let me know and I’ll tell u how but im pretty sure you’ll b able to find it

@@cadynbell2106 yes it does, after you’ve enabled redkey mode when your start your vehicle the uconnect screen will say 500hp black key mode until you program a red key then it will say 700+ red key mode
So I tried to change my 2020 scat settings to have the power and red key options on the screen with the alfa obd but nothing changed. Also corrected the new cluster to my actual mileage but none of the changes worked. When let it sit over night but still nothing. Any ideas?
pull pos and neg off battery make them touch for about 10-15 seconds this hard resets the bcm
some features take a few starts and drives for it to take effect
most the time end user is doing one step wrong just make sure you go through all the settings red key only comes up of the car thinks it's a hellcat scroll to the point where i choose cad types and follow those steps
even if the settings don't seem to take you'll know it works when the cluster alerts a red key is on use

It will not work on 14 and below because the red key wasn't available back then.
@@TestAndTune we got it to work with a BCM swap. To be transparent we got it to program to the 2013 srt but all it did was lock doors and start car, for that it’s all about the chip type. However we had to change bcm and to the 2015+ 8.4 radio for it to change power levels and do the whole drive modes ..so it can work just gotta determine how much you this mod client was already doing the radio upgrade so that helped.

hey man i’m trying to program a red key but after reading and typing in my pin it says the pin is incorrect have you experienced anything similar?
if the pin is incorrect or the wrong amount of digits you'll have to get the pin from any dodge dealer for free provided registration and ID or pay a automotive locksmith to program the red key and give you the pin.
make sure the car is off when you try to get the pin the alfa instructions are easy overlook i did a few times
