Just happend to me, most of BR players don't know madagascar was added. I just got Madagascar round 1 and 8 guessed it correctly, then i knew someone did something lol
I've gone from an average position of 7.8 to 3.5 on battle royale distance mode in just 6 days thanks to all your tip videos! now I just gotta learn all those bollards ;)

I love getting African rounds. It may often be difficult to pinpoint the exact location because there aren't always proper road signs etc but it's usually very easy to tell the countries apart , most of them are very recognizeable P.s I wonder how that hot mess with Madagascar coverage happened 🤔
In places like Lesotho and Botswsna, I don't ever get coverage in any towns, just of the roads or certain areas. However, this video will help in case I ever do end up in a town. Incredibly helpful video as always

It's interesting to see that new countries are added to BR: I have seen Costa Rica, and a few Caribbean islands. This leads to hilarious rounds, where one person beats all other 9 in one round ;-))

The other day I was playing Country Streaks and I got spawned on a beach in Madagascar. So, I think you can get Madagascar in Country Streaks as well as Battle Royale.

I had one round in South Africa that had a blue sign with a red border (similar to a Botswana sign), but it was faded and rusty, so I suspect that South Africa has not used that type of sign in decades.
South Africa, Namibia, Eswatini, Lesotho and Botswana used those white on blue "apartheid signs" (white symbols, including the people-motives). They are almost all replaced with normal white ones (yellow for temporary)now, but Botswana seems to be lagging behind with still quite a lot of those blue danger warning, and prohibition signs.
@@OysteinAasenBotswana didn’t have apartheid. They’ve been a progressive, pretty well developed democracy for years while we were still pretending black people couldnt count! But yeah those signs are very rarely found in south africa

Being a Zimbabwean in South Africa makes GeoGuessr pretty easy!
Also, Egypt coverage always features a camel, a doggo, a pyramid and a disgarded Spar carrier bag.

Nigeria first location - that appears to be a mirror of the follow car as opposed to a "whiter car with blurred out bars"
It is wider blur, not whiter. My pronunciation isn't always very clear :)
