    It would be really cool if you circled back and did a couple 10 minute upgrades to your 10 minute builds.
    I really liked the O'Neil Cylinder (ep. 7 I think), and it was a really great MVP (minimally viable product). It would be cool to see what and how you would upgrade if you had another 10 min with it. Maybe add some background and context (twinkling stars and maybe planet or moon its orbiting), finish off the outside of the cylinder, update the buildings and render it again. Maybe adjust the lighting and then animate it so it spins and has day/night.
    Lots of idea vomit there, but like I said I think it would be really cool to see what is possible if you had 10 minutes to breath new life into an old model.

    • @robertswartz3010
      @robertswartz3010 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You know what, I can see that idea becoming a whole new series, where he goes back and looks at old models from the 10-minute challenge series! He could go back and try remaking it with a fresh mind, and possibly improve it using skills he's learned since then. The title I thought of was "Retrospect", and I think it's a good opportunity to teach some tricks on more time-efficient ways of using Blender. Maybe he can re-make the model with a 10-minute time limit and see if he can add more stuff than before!
      It doesn't have to be every episode, but I would like to see this done with the more notable ones, like the O'Neil Cylinder. I'd like to see something like that!

    Thanks for making these videos; I've learned a lot about the various shortcuts and add-ons in Blender. Even trying to copy your workflow has been helpful. You have also sort of struck gold with this "Speed Modeling" video scheme; it makes for 10+ minute videos that keep my attention throughout (whilst remaining informative,) which is more than a lot of TH-camrs can claim...

    • @Imphenzia
      @Imphenzia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're welcome =) Glad you find them useful. The format turned out to be good for many viewers just out of randomness. When I make tutorials I tend to talk more than necessary and the 10 minute constraint removes that problem somewhat =)

    You should try using Alt + D, it work like mirror but it for duplicating object, It link the second object to the first object so you only need to edit the first object and the second one will Automatically modeled the same as the first one as for your engine
    Edit : It saves more memory than Shift D
