I am impressed how the bow does not pull his arm, Steven has so much control to pull the string and return the string to the bow to the initial position, this guy is strong.
So interesting with the cam set up as it behaves just the same as the beast ecs. Daylight between the two let off modules and it litteralyy feels like 2 different bows. Everything you mentioned from speed change, valley and torquing is identicle to the beast. Love the practical honesty of the review Steve.
Excellent review as always. Now you made feel good about ordering both sets of modules. I loved how the Xpedite shot, definitely knew that arrow was getting it done. Still waiting for the Shootdown review.
I really like your reviews! Most people just don't take the time to do a full review, but you do. Personally I'd like to see more recurves Both trad bows and olympic. But that's just me. Thanks for this one.
Hi Steven, Thank you for the revealing review on the Expedite. I am 63 years of age and prefer to not stress my shoulders as much as when I was younger. Plus I like to shoot daily. The Expedite is a bow I had ruled out until your review. I will test one with the HL modules. Tom......
I got to shoot this bow at my local archery shop and for having a small brace height it is smoother than my Stinger max. It does drop off very quick right before I'd anchor. But had no vibration after the shot with no stabilizer on it. I shot it at 70lbs and 30 inch draw. very surprised at this bow.
I just got an Expedite. Chronographed it today at 320 fps with a 70 lb, 30" draw, 85% letoff, using Speed Freak arrows with 75 grain points. Just sharing some data for you.
Hey Steven, I love my Xpedite. The reason your velocities were so different was because you used your target arrows vs GoldTip chrono arrows. Its not a very big difference in reality.
Great review !! I would love to see you do this same review Indoors with a target setup (peep, target sight and stab. ) I bet you would pack those arrows into that 10 ring.
The modules for the evolve cam system seem like they have a similar idea as the Powershift from Bowtech. Just get a different module and you have a different feeling bow.
vibration dampener on teh limbs? im using the factory one (rotated 90 degrees so it dont slip) also have some limbsavers which i think steve uses or was using anyway.
i shot the new shootdown, as i was so excited to shoot it, i was so disappointed. i really don't think our local rep knows how to tune these bows as the bow wouldn't sit on the back wall what so ever, (that was with the 90% mods) then the 80% was the exact same. it was super jumpy! really wish you were local Steven i bet i would actually enjoy shooting PSE.
I have not shot the Shootdown. But I did have one guy travel 3 hours to try all the bows and he brought the only one I had. More came in last week. I do like my Perform. The ones I sold people love and are shooting PB's. I did have one returned.
supposedly the FL ---> HL mod swap is only a 10 fps loss ? The drastic speed differences with the HL mods makes me think the lighting on your chrono is affecting the readings, love the review thanks
I've been looking for a full throttle but after reading and watching reviews on the xpedite I'm leaning more towards it. I was shooting Hoyt nitrum turbo until I sold it due to finding out I had cancer. What bow would you recommend, I like a fast flat shooting bow and the draw being a little tougher doesn't bother me. I have shot the full throttle and really liked it and would probably own it if it wasn't for everything else going on. Thanks in advance
I'm guessing you're shooting 400s. Would a Velocity 340/300 spine work better with the lower let off? Maybe the initial torque flexes the shaft more in the same distance than the high let off. With a 30 fps difference and @ 18m, it could theoretically increase your group size. Just a thought the nerd in me had. Great vid, btw. Thanks!
Fast bows are excellent for hunting. But, when shooting 3D competition, the International Bow Hunters Organization designates a maximum arrow speed of 280 fps. while the Archery Shooters Association designates maximum arrow speed of 260 fps. to 290 fps. depending on the class an archer is competing in. So, the only advantage a fast bow presents for a 3D archer is a lower draw weight.
I am
impressed how the bow does not pull his arm, Steven has so much control to pull the string and return the string to the bow to the initial position, this guy is strong.
You should review all future bows like this, fitting both high and low modules to show the difference.
39 min bow review! Just amazing! Steven has done it again!
But you get to see the Poodle.
Archery Supplies awesome video as usual...and the poodle is a plus 😂
Nice bow & very nice Toyota Supra

I finally shot mine..probably the most accurate bow for me..just bought another one yesterday. Love this bow.
Bought one after your review actually before your review ended. Keep up the reviews Steven.
Another great review from Steven of Archery Supplies :)

Very different bow amazed me. I could not believe the difference modules made.

I did see as big of drop in speed more like 12 to 15, tempted to do a back to back and see if that is true
Also how would I go about getting this bow to draw 31in draw length?
Hey Steven, I love my Xpedite. The reason your velocities were so different was because you used your target arrows vs GoldTip chrono arrows. Its not a very big difference in reality.
I think this bow deserves a review part 2!!!!
Great review !! I would love to see you do this same review Indoors with a target setup (peep, target sight and stab. ) I bet you would pack those arrows into that 10 ring.
PSE makes awesome bows. Lots of Mathews/ Hoyt fan boys out there.
Where do I find the limb dampeners you have on this bow?
Try turning the dampners around, they don't seem to fall out.
Still the best hunting bow on the market three years running (posted 7/31/19)... 😁👍
There's actually 3 different modules: high let off, low let off and fast low let off.
The modules for the evolve cam system seem like they have a similar idea as the Powershift from Bowtech. Just get a different module and you have a different feeling bow.
One has a good taste for cars as well... Top man!
Looks like the lighting changed while you were chronographing the HL modules. You should not have had a change in poundage swapping modules.
Supra??
What is the weight difference between the gold tips and your VAPs?
allo steve i dont like dampener on my evolve wat kind of dempener you suggset fot my evolve ! merci
vibration dampener on teh limbs? im using the factory one (rotated 90 degrees so it dont slip) also have some limbsavers which i think steve uses or was using anyway.
Google "Buzzkill Silencers"
This bow really has me thinking for a new hunting bow with some VAP TKO’s. So conflicted
Got one of these on order- just can't wait. This is pure bow porn!
please. turn the limpdampeners 90 degree. i don't know why, but they are allways shipped in the wrong direction....
i shot the new shootdown, as i was so excited to shoot it, i was so disappointed.

Nice bow u should try to get your hands on a obsession's they r truly the best bows I have ever shoot
I have them coming.
can you review a stan sx3 release aid ? you do great and honest reviews .
supposedly the FL ---> HL mod swap is only a 10 fps loss ? The drastic speed differences with the HL mods makes me think the lighting on your chrono is affecting the readings, love the review thanks
possible. 329 I got previously too. As I think that is the fastest speed I have recorded.
LED kit for your chrono and shooting it inside will give you consistency
you also shot gold tips in the first test and your VAPs in the second
What would you choose between that or the carbon stealth??
caan this bow fit a 2 piece quiver
yes

He’s acting like the Supra is “just a sports car” 😂😂
Is it hard to change the different letoff modules?
pretty sure its only 2 torx, and no need for a press
Loosen two torx screws on each module and they come right off. No press needed.
Thanks!
Awesome vid

I shoot VAP 350 for target. The arrow I shoot through the chrono is 400 velocity. It was very windy. but I held the high letoff easier less shake.
Steven get the guy on camera!
supra zawsze na propsie :)

Doesn't look like you use the same arrow for speed test
orange vanes are velocity
I removed that limb dampeners from my Evolve35. Worst limb dampeners ever. They moved and even dropped out!!
Did you loose poundage with the second mod ??
I have not checked yet
was going 2 bye it till then, will get the 3D x ,, Supra V8 killers just like PSE
Did you use your normal speed test arrows when you were shooting the high let off mod?
Love it. I love thé supra
can you review that supra next? lol
The whole gambit? Not just a pawn sacrifice? 2 pawn sac? Nah, Queen sac...?
I see a Supra, but it's not a PSE
Nice one.
Must be mistake with draw weight, diference is not more than 10 feet, never 30!
the name of this bow could be AGRESSIVE
Where the peep
Lol nice analogy
We all want to drive the supra lol
very low to the ground
Forget the bow lets talk about the supra
