Yes that’s right. The Volume will raise/lower the car stereo, other media controls on the wheel will control your phone over Bluetooth and in turn skip songs and trigger assistants whilst displaying it on the display.
@@CarPlayLife Thanks for your response. Good to know that’s the case. How do you go about connecting it? I usually connect my phone to the Bluetooth in my car. Would I still do that or do I have to connect to the Lamtto device first?
I saw this one has the option to disconnect the connected phone - the one I have doesn't, so it's a pain to use with more than one phone if Bluetooth is kept on. Do you have any recommendations on which one you might use for people sharing a car? I was thinking of this one after seeing your video
Disconnection is still best done via the phone than these displays. They never seem to work well due to the wireless function of CarPlay and Android auto still works over wi-fi than Bluetooth, so disconnecting Bluetooth doesn't really do much to end the connection for wireless CP/AA, you still have to terminate the wi-fi on the connected device.
Guys I am the manufacturer of this kind of Carplay screen,We support 10.26/9/8.88/7 inch Portable Car Stereo Display. If you want purchase over 500 pieces,I would be pleasure give you a nice quotation.
I'm having trouble connecting the airplay/screen mirror to my car I'm using a iPhone 13 pro max and i have 5G but some reason its not connecting and i'm close by not far away from it.
You need to connect to its WiFi network without that it won’t know what to connect and cast to. Make sure hotspot on the adapter is turned on and check your phone WiFi settings for its network to show up. Connect to it and then airplay should give you the option to cast to the adapter.
@@CarPlayLife I have a 2005 nissan maxima only the FM connection will work but my FM radio kind of sucks is there something you recommend to boost the signal ???
You get an Xbox controller, a Rubik's cube, and a crocodile in the box? Nice! 🤣
Yup 🤓
Whats currently the best android auto display of this type, around 10 inches to get?
Between this carplay monitor and the Carpodgo T3 Pro, what would you recommend?
Hands down CarpodGo if you have the $$$
Can you use the buttons on your steering wheel to change songs and raise/lower volume after connecting to Bluetooth?

For BT audio, the Lamtto connects to the phone. The phone then connects to the car BT stereo after.

I don't know of a way, sorry. Maybe looking at connecting a different aerial from sock is one way that comes to mind.
