You should always sweep out and clean the bin before you work on. It looks like a piece of crap in there no wonder your bins a piece of crap clean your floors.
There is an aeration liner on the walls. No matter how good we clean it out grain falls out from between that liner and the wall all year round and that's what it looks like in the late summer/fall when we go to work on it
