Yo man, I really love your videos on LKY. After Lee-Hsien loong was succeeded by Lawrence Wong, I looked more into Singapore history and politics, and the great LKY. LKY has ever since been a great man of admiration of mine, and I aspire to achieve the success he managed to achieve. These videos show more insight into the mind of that great man, and to carry on his legacy. Don't stop making these videos man. More people need to hear the thoughts and ideas of Singapore's founding father, Lee Kuan Yew.

U r right. Growing up & living in Sg as a Merdeka Generation, we witnessed how LKY build & transformed Sg. Hope our current New 4G leaders watched this video & continue well the principles of governance set & exemplified by LKY while adapting to this modern world of AI & global turbulence. Hope the people of Sg don’t be beguiled or swayed by LHY’s ridiculous assertions, & end up electing charlatans into parliament to ruin Sg.

as a citizen of the US, I remember the day out last great president and statesman, John F. Kennedy was assassinated. This was the beginning of the downfall of a once great nation, to be replaced with some of the worst people that lead us into wars and socialism. Tears form in my eyes watching LKY, thinking about how the US and the world could be so much better. Long live SG!

you missed the most important point in the video then. You get the leader you deserve. The people in the developed world who are being governed by self-centered corrupt assholes are themselves self-centered corrupt assholes as nations. America, UK, Germany, France, Canada... The people of these countries are living in developed countries because those countries developed themselves using the blood and tears extracted from the rest of the world by their ancestors who died fighting 2 world wars to decide who would pillage the rest of humanity. These people are probably the exclamation point to the vile western culture which they deviously dub "civilization". They never deserved such good lives in the first place, the balance is returning.

I had the pleasure of visiting Singapore in 2018, and what an incredible experience it was! The country is breathtakingly beautiful. Yo bro, thanks for this video-ever since I walked the streets of Singapore, my respect for Lee Kuan Yew has only grown. He truly embodies the saying: "Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men."
The 1959 generation, led by visionaries like Lee Kuan Yew, inspires me deeply. Their resilience and dedication laid the foundation for Singapore's success today. I don’t have a TikTok, Facebook, or Twitter account-too much drama and negativity dominate social media these days.
Singapore’s progress is a testament to strong, focused leadership. Without Lee Kuan Yew, the country might have faced chaos. I’m not here to criticize African leaders, but as a Black African, I can’t ignore the fact that we’ve made significant missteps. Many of our leaders prioritize personal gain and power over genuine progress, often with little to show for decades in office.
Shoutout to this video-it’s a powerful reminder of what visionary leadership can achieve.

I remembered one of his speech, he stated " Culture is destiny"
      S. Korea, Japan, HK, Taiwan, all has culture of placing importance in education, hardwork, discipline. Singapore has also built a culture of meritocracy, anti- corruption practices. In my children's school the walls has ' No countries owe Singapore a living' or 'Servant Leaders.

people couldn't see the future he was building.
It's the same reason why western democracies are in such a rut. People vote for the most idealistic guy, whether it's lower taxes or free healthcare.
But either way, people don't truly understand the full extent of the end goals. Lower taxes? Generally just means higher incomes for the already high income, with lower social benefits (and maybe infrastructure).
Free healthcare? Higher taxes while still getting worse healthcare (NHS).
Ultimately the failing of democracies is that it's a popularity contest, and no candidate really needs to think long term because they could easily get voted out next term, even if their plan needs to take 10-20 years for it to be fully realized

Malaysian here. I always respected Lee Kuan Yew before and after his passing. To many especially the Western audience, Lee Kuan Yew may be a dictator, but you cannot deny his passion, his humility, his integrity as a leader and especially his incorruptible when it comes to building Singapore. Even the former Malaysia PM, Mahathir pales a lot in comparison to him.
The latter only seeks to enrich his pocket, his cronies and his children than helping the state. When people see the legacy of Lee Kuan Yew, everyone would admire and look to Singapore along with the airline he built, Singapore Airlines, while as for the legacy of Mahathir, everyone would laugh and mock him along with the kaput airline he built, MAS, Malaysian Airlines.

I am not a singaporean but comgratulate all singaporeans for having a great responsible government. It is the mindset of integrity that Singaporeans I know are proud of. It is not in their blood. It takes 60 years to accomplish this. There is hope in the world. I am amazed why other countries do not see this!!
