Thanks Joe, I like doing overhead shots as long as I dont get a chain linked fence in the way, I threw that pacing video in because no trip to Nebraska along hwy 30 is complete with out it.
Unmanned, Most UP Engines and BNSF Engines are equipped with a Control System that is linked to the head end power that allows the engineer to control all engines on the train. However, with that being said, I believe there are still manned helper sets in the mountains in the west and the Eastern US, but its up to the railroad weather they use them or not, I hope that helps.
thanks
Excellent video.
Hard to believe it has been 14 years since i have been out there. Long overdue. Good action!
That string of SD90MAC's just keeps looking sadder and sadder every time, I also see the Catfish UP 7312 was in the yard as well. Nice catches Tommy
Thanks
True dat. When I visited, I paced a WB Stack on the Columbus Sub, just east of Central City, NE.
Great stuff Tommy! I like those overhead shots and nice pacing video too!

I'll bet you that the red unit that is at 9:40 is "The Katy."
Nope it was a KCS ES44AC Gevo in their Southern Belle Paint Scheme.
Is the truck inpspecting the freight before it leaves
How long do cars have to wait at grade crossings before it clears!?
