my 2014 Raptor SD has 186 on it and the bearing on the idler sled let loose shot the pulley (minus the center) about 300 yards so I am replacing all bearings on the deck these included. Thanks for sharing your work.
Thanks for watching, Wow that could have been bad if it hit someone. I have 230 hr on it now and found the battery tray has broke loose at the front welds.
Nice job. Sure made a world of difference. O cleaned my JD Dect today. Had some weed barrier wrap all in the anti scalp wheels. You did a great job holding the cam and removing the retaining ring. Thumbs up given.
rickbo, thanks for the good video, but here is a tip. don't lift deck off and on. cut two 18 in boards and back off,, drive on., front two attach points have to be off at mower end, not deck end to do this, makes it easy and saves back.
@@rickboretirementplan Amazon! 3 complete spindles for 69.00. Exact part for your Hustler. Hustlers are great machines, I owned 3 new Super Z's. They got better each year.
You did great job installing the bearings I don’t know exactly long the bearings last , you would think at they would last longer then that? My Raptor SD had about 140 hour on it I think the bearings are good I guess I need to check them.
One field I cut has very tall thick weeds, it is probably hard on the bearings, but the mower handles it great. That is when I run out of gas and have to walk back to the truck. I need to install that fuel gauge.

Great idea thanks.
New 3 spindles cost 69.00 for all three spindles
Yes all 6 bearings were about 60.00 dollars .I have 260 hours on it now and they are working great. Thanks for watching and comment.
Each spindle cost 69.00 I got all the bearings for 60.00.
@@rickboretirementplan NO, ALL three for 69.00! It isn't worth rebuilding for 9.00. Aftermarket bearings are usually inferior.
I can't find them that cheap, but is a good deal.

How did you remove the pulley? Did you lock the blade below with a 2x4? Thanks.
Yes I locked it with a 2x4 and used a impack wrench. then the pulleys came right off.
@@rickboretirementplan thank you!
