I seem to think this would have gone great on the original Austin Powers soundtrack. Can imagine him strutting down the 60's London streets doing his thing.
I wasn't alive then, have no idea how i discovered this track/video, but listen to it all the time. It has a kick/groove that reminds me of youthfulness in a time i wish i could have grown up in, like a window into a past I should have been born into. Great song
They do not get NEARLY the appreciation they deserve. For the life of me I don't understand why they are not better known by pop psych fans. So many many incredible songs. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Many of them I found out about through youtube. I think the term surrealism might be more correct than the gimmicky psychedelic term. Uh-oh, are the helicopters flying over me again?

I recently got the LP with Sky Children and Dive into Yesterday on it. I found out about it on youtube. I've been collecting vinyl for a long time since I think they sound better than CDs through tube amps. What is that guitar the guitarist is playing, Danelectro?
Fiendishly clever idea: build a time machine, travel back to 1967 and form a Dukes of Stratosphear tribute act. Unfortunately, they appear to have ignored the warning "careful don't look down the wrong end, all the world's colours will crash into one, monochrome living's no fun" and are now forever wrapped in grey. Mwahhh hah ha.
And French movie star Mireille Darc dancing too… She was also produced by Serge Gainsbourg and France Gall and Mireille were both on a duetting EP that got released at the same time! Hence, their presence all!
