I learned about all those guys in the nougthies after reading a MOJO article talking about the band, subsequnetly I bought the PATTO CD from The admiral himfelf. I love both bands but TiMEBOX is TIME LESS...Mike PATTO is/was an amazing singer...I love his style. very soulful

The summer of 1966, I am 14 years old, and I am on holiday at Butlins Holiday Camp in Filey, Yorkshire. Time Box are the resident band, and got to hear them play every night for two weeks (14 nights). Time Box were from Southport in Lancashire. I am from Southport in Lancashire.

It is amazing how they managed to recreate the sound of the single witout any orchestration, fantastic sound from a 5 piece band, the sound of the hammond and vibes together give real depth. Great fresh sound !
