    i know this videos a bit older and you may not respond but is there a way you can reuse the rivots if there in good condition, because i have a m1 liner thats in pretty good condition but the cloth in the liner and all of that is torn up

      No, I don't think so because you have to shorten the rivets to get them out. You can get new rivets though through J. Murrey. They are not expensive and I use his rivets exclusively in my restorations.

    Cracks require fiberglass fix not gorilla or flex seal!🙄

      Exactly why I recommend not restoring cracked shells, unless you are an experienced fiberglass worker - which I am not.

    Can you do a restoration on an m1c helmet liner.

    • @FreeAmericaChannel
      @FreeAmericaChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I can. In fact, I have an M1C that is missing a buckle for the "A" frame chin strap and worn heavily. It is a Vietnam era M1C helmet but I can do a restoration on that one. It may be a little while in coming. I need to find the right A frames and buckles and then buy them. This is not a cheap hobby, as you probably know! LOL
