this video was a big help for me thanks for posting. i have 1967 Chevy impala and is has air ride suspension , the compressor kept over heating but thanks to this video it gave me the basic info for a health compressor and i fixed it.
I want to informatiion about my screw compressor was over heating cooler was good pipes was good and iam also changing screw rotor bearings even the compressor still over heating increase temperature up to 120 with in 2 minutes after giving the load
why did you replace screw bearings ? air ends have very tight tolerances may not work after service due to minimal misalignment. check that thermostat is operational. replace either way.
Overheating could be because of multiple reasons, with limited information I'm not able to pinpoint solution to your overheating problem. Some of the reasons for overheating are contaminated oil, dust in the system, overloading of machine, using machine for long durations, make sure you have installed clean filter although filter may not be the primary reason for overheating, consider regular maintenance, fill sufficient amount of oil as per machine specifications, check for clogs or obstructions in the machine, avoid cavitation by flushing the system with hydraulic fluid, check for compatibility of fluid and machine, check if the fluid has gone bad, internal obstructions, scales and accumulations, there could be many many reasons for why you filtration system is getting overheated. All the best and follow safety precautions while addressing the issue.
Lot off time replace oil after 1 hour oil contamination fresh water. And cooling system is sea water . Oil sample is show fresh water . Any solution . I replace air intake filter and oil filter . Drain time increase but same result

Great work, I'm glad it helped. Thanks for the comment

What causes overheating of clutch pulley and burning of belts
MY PISTON AIR COMPRESSOR SLOWS DOWN AFTER NUNNING FOR SOME TIME
motor not powerful enough to reach pressure? it should stop once reach cut out set point. maybe belt slipping. what kind of compressor is it.
