one piece being hard to read on a screen is so valid. because reading the physical volumes, it feels so much more spacious, even if it's technically smaller than something like a computer screen.

I liked this podcast a lot, the previous eps were really good too but i think the addition to discussing other cultural mainstream media was a nice to listen to other than solely focused on anime. Also yall got great vibes thanks for the upload yall saving my day

It's funny how naming series that follow that pattern Sean described with the death of the titular character would, in turn, spoil what is probably the biggest twist of the series (and thus make it less likely for someone to watch/read).

Sean would be the perfect addition to the podcast hosts. He's good in striking weird and interesting conversations along with throwing in random tangents to keep things fun.
I agree with sean. If you solo queue for 20k+ hours and don't hit gold. Something's wrong. But I am willing to teach/coach if that person is willing. In MMO raids tho, i'm a bit more strict. If you keep on repeating the same mistake for like 20 times, i'd rather you leave or we can just raid another day. That also applies to myself. Just 5 times, i'd rather leave the party/group than bring them down.
Also, this setup is so chill and would want this more than the table. Haha.

personally i dont feel like sexual = fanservice. some sexual scenes have a purpose other than being sexual, and fanservice to me is when it doesn't really have said purpose.

I have a genuine question. Is Tenchi Muyo a dead anime? Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi Universe, and Tenchi in Tokyo are my series. I also have 3 Tenchi movies on VHS. Just admitting that makes me feel old.

I watched 16 or so episodes of frieren and did not enjoy it 😅
The whole 10K hours saying is annoying to me because it skips a key nuance. How you spend those hours is far more important than the actual number.
What do the pros do for anything, LoL or sport? They spend time doing deliberate practice. This can mean drills, working on specific weaknesses or doing the same thing over and over until it becomes second nature.
People who mindlessly solo queue, play, don’t review, don’t do any other drills, don’t work on different parts of their game are NOT putting in their 10K hours.
1:32:50 I dont think No game no life is incestuos. Fan service of underage girl, yes, but not incest. I think the first episode make it looks like it, but through out the story the mc never has any love interest or sexual attraction or interaction with his sister if i remember correctly
