Mega Man! One of my top notch games. And it still is to this day,2023! This is a badass channel for old school gaming! Awesome guides and tips, you’re in the right place!
Best nintendo channel, right along summoning salt. Don't ever stop! Your content is legendary! A boring day turns into saturday morning all over again with my brothers. Love this channel!
5 was a close second to 3 as far as my favorite mega man game. I always thought of the M-Tank as a 10th E-Tank, because it refills your energy as well as your weapons.
I stopped enjoying video games a long time ago, but ever since I found your channel I find myself playing these old games for hours, the best part of the day is coming home from work and putting one of your videos and trying to successfully replicate everything you teach.
I remember beating this game in 93 when I was in kindergarten. This is the game that made me love video games and become the crazy collector that I am today.
For about 2 months straight every video I would load up was immediately followed up by your how to beat Dragon Quest. TH-cam was ON POINT for those two months. Lol
The NES Mega Man games are always a good time! I do like how the lore explanation for Mega Man's Mega Buster being so powerful in Mega Man V is because it was upgraded by Dr. Cossack as a reward for saving his daughter in Mega Man IV.
Technically Proto Man saved Kalinka, but I guess he also helped kidnap her, so might as well give the cool buster upgrade to the brother that didn't do that. Plus, Proto Man already has a sick buster.
@@popeyedoyle6360 I think Mega Man's Mega Buster retains the charge ability up until it is mysteriously taken away from him in Mega Man 9. No explanation really given.
Fun strategy for the fight w/ Crystal Man: If you stay close to Crystal Man and move under him back and forth shooting him when he lands, he'll never use his Crystal Eye attack. Instead, he'll just keep jumping over you at close range. It's exactly the same technique used against Toad Man from Mega Man 4. Great vid and channel!
I know 2 and 3 are the most beloved games, and I understand why. But the latter three games are so much more polished, I find it hard to go back to the first three sometimes. Five is my least favorite of the second three games, but I still had a fun time with it.
They were all amazing dude with the exception of Mega Man 8 which I never really cared for. Mega Man 2 was my first and most favorite mega man game of all time.
The thing about the Classic Mega Man games is that there really isn't a bad game. Even the shittiest mainline Megaman game around, Megaman & Bass is a decent game. It's shitty compared only to the rest of the games. So different people are going to have different favourites, because they're all good. It's the only series that can boast about this.
22:00 There is a trick I do for the Beat letter in Crystal Man's stage. Do a big jump near the top to align with the left wall at the beginning height of the jump. After passing the spikes in the second screen and transitioning to the third falling screen, hold left to get the letter. Guarantee of getting the letter without dying or pushing the left directional too late.
I think this was my favorite Mega Man of the 6 on NES. Part 3 will always be the most special to me (I had 2 copies at one point, along with all the others). But I love them all. Never even got to Mega Man 7...... Thank you for showing!
I've always been amazed by the graphics and gameplay of this game... it's really a Legend. Thank you for making this Guide, I'm going to play Megaman this week following your advice 😁✌🏻
I’ve been playing Megaman games a very long time now, and I’m amazed that I always manage to find out stuff I didn’t know about these games in these videos.
As someone who bought both Mega Man Legacy and Mega Man Legacy collection 2, both Mega Man X legacy collections, and Mega Man 11, I hope you eventually do guides to every Mega Man mainline game.
One of my favorites too, along with Mega Man 3. As a side note on 1:35:00, Crystal Man's designer is a young Yusuke Murata (along with MM4's Dust Man), who later illustrated the manga One-Punch Man!
I knew it was only a matter of time before he got to Mega Man V. And I'm not kidding when I say that in this Mega Man game, you can actually defeat all the robot masters with JUST your arm cannon.
I love your use of all of the game's weapons in this guide! Gyro Attack is certainly a great weapon in Mega Man history! Also, I love your trick/strategy for the last part of Proto Man Stage 3!
Having never played a great deal of these games i love seeing these. They are also great for back ground filler while driving long distance, keep up the great work!
I have not played Mega Man 6 yet, but this is probably my favorite of the NES Mega Man titles so far. I definitely enjoyed playing it as well as watching you play it in this video.
I love the scene out your window in this one! Great choice; this isn't my favorite Mega Man, but it does have my favorite soundtrack out of the NES titles. I usually start with Charge Man, just so I don't have to use Power Stone against him; I like to think that Capcom made Power Stone for the Dreamcast out of penance for how bad this weapon was.
I had so much fun playing Mega Man V as a kid and have been really looking forward to this video. I might have to fire the game up again for old times' sake.
I just wanted to pay my respects and wish you luck in the games. I completed the first Megaman in 1996. The 2, 3, 4th chapter I've recently walked through with your tips. While waiting for 5th chapter of Megaman on your channel I started playing in it. I reached Dr. Wily castle and the 5th episode of UCBVG Megaman came out. We're on the same page - playing the same game simultaneously. Ur tips was very useful to beat Dr.Wily. But there is no capsule room shortcut in the Japanese version. I had to take pleasure from rematch with bosses. It's great that after all these years so many people haven't forgotten 8bit games. Waiting for 6th episode of Megaman)))
Dude your videos are best! very informative and entertaining and was that a DMX reference @ 1:08:58 ? keep up the great work im currently going through all the megaman classics.
Great video as always. I remember introducing a friend who was interested in learning about older games to this. I thought this was probably the best one to start with because it's easy and has a more modern approach and sensibilities to it. He got wrecked by Gravity Man and gave up. I was a little surprised because we played Super Mario World together and he could do most of the harder levels in that.
Been a while since I’ve visited your channel, but I’m glad to see you’re still putting out incredibly awesome videos. I’ve got the ultimate challenge for you for a future video - Castlevania: Rondo of Blood
You are the BEST!!!! 🎉 You’re videos got me through Megaman 1-6! Thank you so much!! Wondering if you have plans for finishing the main series (7-10). That would be sweet, they’re tough! For me, anyway. So was Megaman 1 actually, good thing I had your vid to fall back on.
Crystal Man uses the Crystal Eye attack based on Mega Man's distance to him being far away. This means that the player can manipulate the AI to prevent Crystal Man from using that technique by staying closer to the boss.
I instantly found myself wishing you had lead off with a joke like "Mega Man 5 is the 27th installment of one of the most..." No particular reason! Just would've been so unexpected. As always, love the video!
YEP!! this is my first Megaman game i have played back in elementary days not sure if grade 5 or 6,2000,01 or 02...so every sound/bgm had been always nailed in my brain..thankfully i was able to beat it even though im just a kid and no knowledge about internet even strategy guide..its about learning every stages, how it is laid out, dying many many times and strategize how to beat the bosses..same as Ninja Turtles The Arcade i also beat that 1 PLAYER ONLY..so Megaman V will always have a place in my heart.... anyways Nice Video SIR!!!! Just got through playing the original six last year, but it's nice to see how these could/should be played with bit more skill. Anyways, you must spend so much time to create such good content and it's perfect for both background as well as to seriously watching.
20:10 NOTE: Eddy can rarely drop E-tanks, which means you can farm TWO E-tanks on some levels (e.g. Napalm Man). E-tanks also respawn when you revisit stages, which is nice.
YES! YES! Thank you! Another Megaman game. Let’s go! I’ve almost beat the first one, beat the 2’nd one, half way on the 3rd one. Still working on IV. But def need your help. LoL

Outside of II where Metal Blades cost like nothing to use and Flash Stopper for Quick Beams, I never seem to ever think about using the weapons I'm bestowed. Thank you putting the idea in my head. And I could say that on each of your videos. I hope you get to VI soon.
I played the Mega Man Games on an emulator, and I have no regrets. Then I got the Legacy Collection on Steam to make up for it, now I can proudly say that the 5th game is my favorite one.

I didn't get a chance to beat this one until I acquired the Mega Man Collection on my Gamecube years later~ Personally I think that Proto Man's Castle and the Wily Capsule themes are vastly underrated and are quite good for what they are~
MM5 has a great soundtrack. I like it much better than 4's. In fact, I think I'd tie it with 3 for my 2nd favorite of the NES games, after the legendary 2. Proto Man stage is definitely a stand-out.
I'm at a terrible low in my life. These are the highlight of my week.
I take the simple joys as I can get them.
