However, there are some people that suffer from an actual illness where they need pills, they go through it so much they can't help but express their opinions. Is what it is.

I personally feel it's incredibly helpful to find the parts in your life which suck, cause stress, or are problems. Fine what they are, put them on a 'to do list' and then solve them. That way when you feel crappy tomorrow, you can say "I might be useless, but at least now my room is tidy". Eventually, your 'done list' will be substantial and although you won't be happier, your life will feel way less crappy.

    • @Max-mm1sl

    • @monjier
      @monjier 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@Max-mm1sl to be honest, whenever I try to make myself happy, it usually lasts for a couple hours or just that day. I would have probably quit my job this week if I didn't write down my stress list on Tuesday. Honestly, Wednesday and Thursday have been the worst, but I was at least able to make it through because I wrote down the stresses. That was a massive weight off my shoulders. I had the entire executive team involved in my daily job, this week. They were all panicking because our monthly numbers had halved and my sales were down 100k for the month. The only real explanation is the change in process they made for me. I have been encumbered in doing the simplest of tasks. Running my own system and process allows me to do the work of 2 people in the same amount of time, working at full capacity. Now that my processes have to follow the normal protocol, my capacity has halved, which in sales is more than a half. Lol had to rant

go strict carnivore for 3 weeks
your gut microbiome is responsible for your brain's neurochemistry
which probably is gonna be caused by an bacterial infection-ish issue
when you go carnivore and cut out all carbs, the 'bad' bacteria is gonna starve and die
      ur gut is now better
boom u fixed ur depression without getting milked the fuck out from your pocket
not to mention that depression is often caused by low baselien dopamine levels, which is highly linked to low testosterone
simply put, you increase your testosterone, your dopamine levels are gonna increase, and you are gonna feel better
      what increases testosterone?
      -weightlifftiing
-removing seed oils and processed sugars and eating a balanced diet (you cant go vegan or ur gonna be deficient in creatine, taurin, choline, L-carnitine and the AA lysin, not to mention much more shit that I don't remember on top of my head)
-getting sunlight right after waking up to optimize your circadian rhythm for optimal sleep
-getting optimal sleep (9 hours in bed, you should tape your mouth shut if you are wakingn up with a dry mouth, this implies that you are mouthbreathing while sleeping, which is not the optimal way to breathe)
-remove alcohol, its gonna affect your neurochemisty in many bad ways, including dedcreasing baseline dopamine levels
-practice good hygene and try to socialize and be near attractive women
-stop jacking off. Jacking off devides your testosterone by 3. You are gonna triple your testosterone levels by 3x if you cold turkey porn and wanking off. If you are struggling to quit, try reading this book :easypeasymethod.org/
      -set goals and achieve them
      other stuff:
      -avoid microplastics
      -avoid flouride
      -go for walks in nature
-if you finished puberty and your growth plates are closed, try icing your balls 3x per day for 20 min each (it works becasue yoru balls are MEANT to be colder than your body, which is not gonna be the case if you're constantly wearing boxers n shit (DO NOT MAKE DIRECT CONTACT WITH YOUR BALLS))
-buy a reverse osmosis water machine
      -avoid polution in general
THE MATRIX WANT YOU WEAK AND DEPRESSED TO STAY A CONSUMER AND TO MILK YOUR POCKETS THROUGH THERAPY

I get you, but also I see it like it isn't fair to the ppl around me if I'm going through some shit and can't be properly there for them because I won't open up about my own issues, and if you talk to someone you trust who cares about you will wanna be there for you, nothing wrong with that.
So most of the time it isn't really a burden to talk, it lifts weight of you and the ppl around you. I know my mum and dad prefer when I open up than when I keep it to myself, makes us both feel better. Give it a try with someone you trust, I recommend.

Unfortunately that doesn't help with depression.
I'm not sure if the maker of these videos is bipolar, but I am. I had eight years straight of depression anxiety and even when I was on an antidepressant and smoking weed on the regular, nothing stopped it.
My parents said all the stuff you said and the road man said, but it wasn't until I got on Lithium that I finally escaped those moods.
People think mental health problems all stem from a self-pitying perspective, but when it's chemical, like in my case, the only solution is the right medication.
Don't perpetuate unhelpful arguments. Actually depressed people won't benefit from being told that they have no reason to be depressed because of how good their life is. That will just making them feel guilty and then not talk to anyone when they are in the throes of depression.
When people feel they can't talk to those around them, that those people only have judgement for them, that's when suicide becomes a possibility.

@@firstlast9846 You're assuming that the people who are telling you that they are depressed are wrong.
You might be right sometimes, but for those times you are wrong, that's a really damaging response.
My parents thought I was just being dramatic when I said I was depressed as well.
It's not always obvious that someone is depressed and not just down.
Part of being a good listener and friend is believing someone when they tell you something personal. Not believing them when they say they are depressed could make them think you are not a great friend/listener which could make them not want to confide in you anymore.
Therapy does help, but with bipolar it still couldn't stop the depression/anxiety for me.

Roadman is using a destructive coping mechanism themselves and encouraging their mate to do the same. I don't think the video was trying to show how that is the correct way to deal with mental health. It doesn't go away even if you think there are bigger issues. You can't hide from depression it will effect you if you don't address it even if you don't realise it. Roadman was accurate however how most young men in that position act. Most men aren't comfortable enough with their own internal struggle to be able to assist others.
Depression isn't contagious and talking about it helps feelings of isolation and loneliness. You can't address a problem that you and your friends refuse to recognise. So being so averse to conversation isn't a positive thing. Unfortunately a lot of young men don't have the environment to deal with mental health issues properly and for some it probably is just better to run away from the issue and pretend it doesn't exist.
